B-Vectra & Beetle

B-Vectra has specific construction design on intake way for automatic air conditioning system, accessing to the evaporator surface from the out side just behind the bulkhead.
After removing fan and motor the destination was opened, application of foaming cleaner and washing away with water procedures reduced nervous mold smell considerably.

Just 10 degree misperception of ignition timing changed the personality of VW 1302 Super Beetle, strongly active and lively like different model. At the same time I realized the importance of combined relations between, ignition timing in both idling and acceleration with smooth transition, point gap, centrifugal advancer, vacuum advancer, also including automatic choke module angular position, valve timing and plug gaps, because they are affecting each other so intimately.

The adjustment on VW AD 1,600cc motor gives me so pleasant opportunity, reminding 1 year ago it was thoroughly good to had been ventured to purchase this 40 years old Beetle. She is just an indispensable object for my daily life now.
