Brake pad NCP10

A replacement part arrived as TOYOTA genuine frontal disc bake pad yesterday, I'm going to do that with some combination work, replacement of brake fluid and overhaul of brake caliper including rear ones. Though it was done by some dealer as a periodical service treatment, I do not always believe in their way, for example, loosening and tightening caliper fixing bolts. As the brake system is an indispensable safety one, I wanna ascertain by myself, if I continue. Judging from my experiences, piston boots and sealing rubber packing are not always necessary to be replaced into new parts, just some removal of vanish deposit generated hard material covering piston surface is the task. Smooth and good brake pedal touch would be obtained after this kind of treatment. Though brake pad remains 3mm thickness more, now is the time to be replaced, because too much projection of piston from the cylinder invites squeezing leading to some worse pedal touch and oval wear of cylinder surface. Braking effect is mainly dictated by the diameter of brake disk wheel, the pad area had been increased comparing with the same 14" wheel's one equipped in former model, EP82 Starlet, so not compatible. Though much inexpensive parts supply from some third party exists, I dare have chosen TOYOTA genuine parts. The transient of braking stage is important for me and the quality of the pad materials are fixed by the factory after some adequate experiments, this is why I insist on genuine parts especially for important portions. 
Magnet clutch part and brushes in the alternator would last it covers 150,000km use, so more 90,000km would be lasted except V-shape belts, remember 2NZ-FE motor do have chain driven mechanism as a timing belt. Oils & water periodical replacement in future would be the key to continue NCP10 Vitz long from now.

Summar 12cm/4.5



One of my favorite Macro lens is Leitz old Summar 12cm/4,5, I have an experience to win a prize in some contest utilizing this marvelous one while the silver salt period of time. In relatively iris opened condition, this one performs ultimately marvelous expression on the transparencies, on the other hand, the performance when iris closed to 48 circumstance exceeds the sharpness of Nikon 105/2.8 Macro Nikkor, smaller and tiny looks as it does, the potentials of this ancient old Leitz Macro specialized lens is unpredictable.
Several adapter rings were matched with lens threads to establish infinity length in combinations with Asahi Pentax Helicoid adapter ring. Hood is specially hand made with noise killer anti-reflector rings when used on 6 by 4.5 Mamiya SLR analogue body while silver salt period.

Weep!

I must report some miserable and sad result on my favorite Canon 10D camera, because string like mold inhabit on image element surface, but inside of the filter. Several winding strings are often printed together on the image, it's very unpleasant mischievous prank at all. However hard I might try to remove the mold strings, my effort were in vain, because the criminal is hidden inside and backward of the filter glass. The dealer says that 35,000 yen must be payed for replacing image element or it might be impossible to repair because of lack of parts supply, but second handed one in better condition could be obtained if I want at the same price. How about jumping to EOS 5D Mark3 with full size image format at 300,000 yen? This idea prevent me from stepping up, because I should be obliged to make effort much more than now in order to make up the capital investment. This makes me feel dark?
On the other hand, 6 old Leitz lenses are modified to adapt Canon Eos mount, 280/4.8 Telyt 2(11902), 200/4 Telyt (TELOO), 65/3.5 Macro Elmar(11062), 135/4.5 Elmar(EFERN), 135/4.5 Hektor(HEFAM) and 120/4.5 Summar Macro. These old ones are all set on Canon EOS Digital body with Asahi PENTAX helicoid ring by way of K bayonet mount, of course the positions of infinity are precisely adjusted and set firmly promptly, in case of closer exposure, K bayonet extension ring is inserted between them especially in case of 65mm Macro Elmar.
All of them are just disassembled partially and no breaking mechanical modifications were applied, so the original constructions would be realized promptly any time I want. As for my principle, any traditional artistic production should not destroyed as are impossible to return to their original states. As you know no variable focal length lens is observed in my correction, the reason is that I have never come across with variable one that has same or more excellent performance than single focus lens in the world, so deserted I zoom lens including Angenieux 45-90(11930) nor several Vario-Elmar.
Then do I desert all of them including 280/2.8 APO Telyt R, 180/2 APO Summicron R, 15/3.5 Super Elmarit and modified Minolta MD Macro Rokkor 50/3.5, if Canon 10D body has a critical failure, Mold in exposure image surface?

New story

A possibility to construct some new laboratory for myself and by myself comes out, because my son is going to continue ours instead of me. No way remains to go with him because of the definitive differences between us on professional concepts. It's impossible to avoid struggles happening in future on nonnegotiable differences of the concepts based on generations. I often point out his standing position of fundamental assumptions, his knowledge are often from general commercial advertisements, as for me, those from scientifically proved truth and fact that had been ascertained by my own experiments as one of a scientific researcher. The differences of standing point of view often bring dispute with offending reactions. 24 years used equipment up and running now would be moved to my new place, because he wants to replace into new and nowadays models, of course the cost would be compensated by his own bank borrowing, not myself. I have an enough self-confidence to continue my own business at new place with new customers again based on experiences as a researcher for 15 years and on actual clinical practices for 24 years. I don't hesitate nor am not afraid of any pseudo advertising strategies.
Let's see how much would be gotten in future for both of us?

Corrections


Next Typhoon is approaching to South Western part of Kyusyu now, so this week end would not favorable for an automobile maintenance, wheel alignment and constructive geometry adjustment of SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza with thrust angle establishment into zero degree. On my way for test driving to country side, Nishitani in Takarazuka mainly rice field in the mountain after frontal camber and toe-in adjustment of Altezza, came across with Cluster Amaryllis in the beginning of full bloom along the fields separative narrow roads, perceiving that there is some vital strong force in every young creatures.

As mentioned yesterday, there exist two steering centric positions while straight running, the inflect point is 60km/h, thrust error appears following the thrust error physically below that speed, on the other hand, over that speed the phenomena reverses mainly because of Self Steer Effect.
Without perceiving the fact and the truth, even the professional engineer would be confused which to be adjusted on? So, the checking to know the tendency of the bad habit should be performed below 60km/h. Remembering that old technology of Nissan rear steering system, the turning point had been set at 60km/h, is there any relations with that? The terminal scaling points are the frontal wheel centric position, so I described yesterday, because there exists the most external surface of the hub that had been precisely finished flat plane to be relied on to scale rear toe and thrust angle from the rear geometric axle construction. This is why I make it a rule to utilize the points on both side as a critical terminal points.

I must correct the descriptions on the Morning Glory, because it is out of the season for it, similar but different. I'll check out about this that pointed out by someone. However much the color and flower shape might resemble, the shape of leaves are different, they are not.
According to the information from a Web site, the flower I recorded here was not an ordinal Morning Glory but Calystegia japonica, morning glory with round leaf, Ipomoea Convolvulaceae. So, my perception on this was not so distorted but was not to the point.

Wheel alignment SXE10



Potential wondering bad habit in SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza obliged me to loosen the frontal left side lower arm adjusting bolt lock nut at last today. The phenomena occurs every signal stop & go, it was not endurable for me if F/R layout might have such kind of tendency. Actual measurement of wheel alignment for 4 wheels revealed that too much frontal left side negative camber inclination, difference of angle value was 6 minutes. All the datum are the result of 3 values standard after 5 time scaling with eliminating highest and lowest datum. Because of Steering Axis Inclination(SAI) and caster angle, toe angle value changes according to camber adjusting displacement, so the camber value on frontal axle construction have to be adjusted together with toe-in direction at the same time. This is why frontal camber is difficult to be adjusted at the same value of that of opposite side. As the precisely adjusted frontal camber value at the same value is the key to success of fine wheel alignment finally. The outer round surface in the wheel center is the only measurement reference points to be relied for the following measurements and adjustment of rear wheels. The steering reaction became lighter and obedient after the frontal camber and toe wheel inclination adjustment, but some sticky phenomena in centric steering position disappeared meaning an appearance of thrust angle, judging from the new habit the direction should be minus and the angle value should be around 5 minutes. The stiffness in centric steering position would be re-acquired again after Altezza would be corrected into zero degree thrust angle re-establishment. This indispensable correcting adjustment would be performed on the next opportunity.

Muscle stiffness

The best way to cure muscle stiffness is to move the specific muscle forcibly intending the circulatory function recovery of fluid in the muscle cells. Surgical understood rub or massage are prevailing around us, but any mechanical external rough stimulation like grabbing on a muscle tissue often invite peripheral vascular rupture inside leading to worsening of the symptoms. So, the best way to recover some specific function is to move it intentionally and forcibly however painful the procedure might be, but gently and gradually nor sudden violent movement are contradictions at all, just a gradual broadening the range of motions is important. 
Recovery of natural flow of body fluids on the portion is the purpose of this method, blood, lymph and cellular and inter-cellular fluid. As long as there is a liquid circulation, the natural function of any tissue would be recovered, so made our body is by God.

I have known Professor Hirokazu Hasegawa watching TV early in the morning in Tokai University department of Clinical Psychology who gives us deepest considerations about child's truancy. He says that one of the critical reason lays on the attitude of parents. As he has published several articles and books, I would like to concentrate to the advocate for the time being. I'm sure to come to some different world after being familiar with his way of thinking. Showing his or her parent in a happiness is important for children, he says in short.
I'm overcoming what I could not do because of parental oppositions while I had been in childhood reflecting on my own.

Regret

Security has worsened in neighborhood recently, my bicycle had stolen last night in front of OASIS convenience shop. Probably mine had been sold away immediately to some second handed goods shop. I'm suffered from the affair a little, as the heartless robber wanted so I give it up. There are some people whose heart are not met at all! World wide instability in economical condition might have influenced on the chaos and confusion even in our country?

As the Smell of mold is terrible in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra when heater is used, so some countermeasure is indispensable on earth. Cleaning the heater core and cooler evaporator would be the task to be performed first, floor carpet that has long used had been removed last time. Fighting with mold is the same as the field of photography, lens cleaning and doing imaging element surface in digital body.

Leitz EFERN




Leitz code EFERN ELMAR 135/4.5 telephoto lens without range finder coupling and 1931 production of 2394 in total was some outstanding model in their oldest productions.
Now I've arranged it with production No. 037 to adopt on Canon Digital EOS body checking the imaging in the finder actually. Although non-coating lenses as it was designed, it commands a different view from recent computerized designed ones. I can perceive something on the transparency that cannot be obtained through by multi-coated glasses. In another words, however thinner the coating materials might be, something important should be cut off to produce the reality on the imaging element.
I have ever read about Leitz lens designing concept in some Leica Lens manual, "KANTE Theory", that is how clearly the edge could be cut existing 3 dimensional objects on 2 dimensional surface. I can see a piece of their concept even 80 years ago. This is why I stick to old Leitz designed lenses. From a different standing point of view, Digital imaging body could compare to a lens test device?

Compliance balance



Incredible phenomena happened when the backlash was eliminated by replacing a frontal stabilizer link with ball joint on the left side in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra, the steering stability in centric position while straight running was far improved. The fact experienced at that time revealed that the play of frontal sway bar is not only for anti-rolling effect but even in straight phase it affect physically and continuous careful checking on backlash in the linkage is indispensable to keep an original performance.
On the other hand, too loose fitting frontal stabilizer and it's bushes on both sides had been observed in SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza when front axles were disassembled for shock absorber replacement. I asked to myself that any backlash in the stabilizer linkage should be the same as that in link ball joint? Input force must be blocked in any part if any week portion might exist. In another word, sway bar doesn't play in the initial stage of the rolling action. Of course the compliance setting here is very important to establish the taste of drive feel, because of the influences on frequency of NVH that is propagated to the steering wheel, it is nothing but sensitive.
As an experimental attempt, I applied a small piece of rubber sheet between stabilizer bush and supporting surface to compensate looseness of the portion fulfilling its role as a leverage points. As a matter of fact, steering stability has remarkably improved during both straight running and cornering disappearing any vague feeling on steering reactions.
As a conclusion, even a small piece of rubber sheet can change the driving taste meaning that the looseness and the tightness of the stabilizer bush is one of the very important setting point of compliance for the factory designing engineer fitting with stabilizer, it would do affect on the physical property on the portion including the effect on transient property. The vest balanced compliance condition should be decided by the results of repeated experimental studies by the professionals in the developing company, it is not in the region where the amateur or any layman can intervene.

For VW 1302, prepared I new replacement part, gas door pull handle, I leave it as it is just cutting out loop portion because of actual convenience.

Real estates

Talk of buying and selling real estate has been raised. Buying 3 story not right but normal steel frame on 55 tsubo land space at 65,000,000 yen, on the other hand selling is my villa, 2 storing wooden housing on 72 tsubo at 25,000,000 yen. The difference of 40,000,000 yen would be compensated by bank borrowing due to me and my son's debt. The main purpose of house changing to 3 stories one is leading our lives together with my son and his family that is a strong intention of some one. The ground floor is empty for 8 automobiles parking place now, so, it might be possible to set up a new laboratory for my own, of course I have enough confidence to continue newly opened one as a complete stranger, if there are several competitors here and there.
Problem is that the duty to have Public inspection after the completion of construction had not been performed intentionally, because of illegal specification, building coverage violation, too much, 280% under 200%! Now the checking and inspection are tightened after the illegal forgery incident of datum by a famous professional architect "Aneha". As a matter for regret, the permission would not be obtained in future for the purpose for example, electric elevator setting until set back should be reduced adapting the building codes. Plenty of money should be required in future regardless of my choice if I was obliged to correct the constructive designing error.
Status quo is the least spending of money, the state now does not change. How shall we do?

Kyoto Miyama



Visited I Miyama, Northern Kyoto yesterday for the purpose of commissioning of BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model. No strange tight corner locking phenomena was observed through the test driving both on the high way and general road.
Thanks to several trials on duty solenoid action by shortening the signal while running, the fault on rear automatic transfer had been eliminated thoroughly, probably because my attempt could have flatten the undesirable step wares inside of clutch bell? Appreciate I again the capability of SUBARU technical engineer to set up the compliance  balance of GC8 Impreza WRX model, because that of my BC7 has exchanged into the same axle constructions, shock absorbers, suspension coil springs and arm bushes with complete SUBARU genuine parts, those had been removed from new complete GC8 WRX. NVH are well balanced and no sense of frequent and uncomfortable pushing back reactions nor shakes. So, I have made up my mind to continue keeping this first generation Legacy for the time being.

I dropped in FLAT4 air-cooled VW shop Kyoto branch on my way home from Miyama, according to the opinion by the engineer there, the rear trailing arm bushes should be replace without no argument, because of permanent distortion of especially outer bushes had been surely performed by continuous stress applied by torsion suspension spring for 40 years long period of time. As a important information to remove rear lower arm from the axle construction, rotating rate distance would be 30mm to 50mm when stopper lock was released by pulling back outside and the separate portion would be inside spline because outer spline should have been rusted and clogged according to their experiences. Also marking before separating at the splines are indispensable step, otherwise later tasks would be very harder to set up the suspension height on both side with best balancing like an original condition, there are several combinations of outer and inner splines to realize the even heights.

Someone brought me a Spanish Dancer figure and some copy as a souvenir after visiting there as a tourist. I just remember some miserable stories in relations with Hispanic people scattered while The Age of Discovery. XH200 B-Vectra

Some temporal displacements of them had been done for the convenience of shift linkage end ball joint maintenance last time and they were not returned at their home place by mistake. This kind of fault happens relatively often even in professionals servicing at the factory pit, probably some fatigue after some hard work might call distraction of concentrations? Anyway opening and closing inspections are the only indispensable regular manner for all tasks using devices. We cannot do too much on the machinery to repeat safety inspections.

Though XH200 is the most mischievous automobile that I have been experienced in my life, DFV de-tuned GM X20 motor, excellent Aishin 4 speed automatic trans-axle, the best designed compliance balance of body & axle contributes to marvelous driving taste if it is well maintained firmly. This is why I am keeping 15 years old German made automobile consistently in spite of outer pressure. The only automobile is this that permit me to drive all day long without any fatigue.
Frontal camber 60 seconds and rear 90 seconds angle value promptly are the too much inclination of wheels compared with Japanese domestic setting by another manufacturers, sticky steering reaction at centric position is not deniable, but still I prefer this setting even if in relatively low speed traffic in general roads. Replacement of shock absorbers into Monroe Reflex brand has accelerated the improvement in driving performance of 150,000km used B-Vectra.

I'm in the mood of changing it into newly informed Golf 7 with DSG trans-axle, direct cylinder fuel injection, turbo charging and motor stopping while stopping, but my desire is the rear fixed and solid 5 linked axle, not torsion beam axle like The New Beetle?

Equilibrium

Weather forecast says that wet and moistened air would be flown into Kinki area and it would rain cats and dogs today, so our dealing today might be fluid this afternoon. Much more cooler and astringent weather should be desired especially after some typhoon passing. One more week is necessary to obtain a true Autumn climate suitable for going out.

Anti-Japanese action in Red China and Anti-American one in Islam countries have occurred everywhere these days though their official reasons differ each other. They might regard Japan as US's intimate friends each other, actually in the relations of intimate alliance? We must be attacked much more than now by violent methods inside and outside of us because of the reason if it might be our business but US's?
What would happen today in The People's Republic of China on the memorial day of Manchurian incident over 60 years ago? We might demonstrate to China and Korea on the incident of invasions at Kyusyu area twice in 1274 and in 1281, actually their military forces had invaded us, how come?! How long do they want Date-Back?

As I mentioned yesterday, inconvenience on rear transfer clutch system has disappeared and that was reaffirmed after test driving this morning, no strange tight corner locking phenomena was observed on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model.
But never neglect I an image training to replace multi transfer clutch plates sith preparing a parts ordering parts form, any time would do for me, though some very heavier tasks might be imagined.

BC7 recovery?

Though I determined to replace the rear transfer clutch plates 10 pieces in total equipped in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, experimental trial has recovered tight corner locking phenomena thoroughly, shifting forward and reverse several times under the condition that lifting frontal wheels and reverse clutch solenoid cut off by shortening at 4WD fuse box.
I feel just I got a smack in the eyes? Though I did it in the mood to give up a half, a very simple attempt to release some sickness between clutch plate, drive and driven. But the problem might come out at any time, so the next time would be the opportunity to order some replacement parts including gasket used the spaces between transfer main body and rear MPT case, also that of small valve body inside is not neglected. Additionally, the muffler connection must be separated, so flange bolts and nuts should be done at the same time.

Arbeit heute

Frontal camber on NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz was corrected yesterday into minus 35 minutes angle value on both sides finally, as a result right side running habitual tendency has disappeared but historic strange rasping sound came out again that must be caused by needle roller mechanical construction of DOJ in the right side drive shaft. The original problem might exist in any distortion of the hub impacted into knuckle or in the wheel tracking problem. Trial attempt of toe-in adjustment would solve this strange problem, remember here that just a replacement of wheels right and left eliminated the noise last time.
Judging from frontal tire outer surface see through method to know the thrust angle from an anterior portion, slight minus angle was observed, this precise adjustment by rear thrust correction would be performed after the noise problem-solving.

Hinter trailing arm inner bush condition would be checked after upper work, probably they must be broken by tearing away between inner and out lace rubber portion. If it's to the point, all the trailing arm bushes replacement work would be required without any hesitation, outer rubber mass bushes had been prepared, on the other hand new ordering for inner bushes 4 in number must be ordered to Flat 4 in Kyoto. Disassembling trailing arms must require special method because of torsion bar spring construction instead of ordinal coil springs. Heavy especially on final and deeper angle, muddy and sticky steering reaction would be far improved after all.

As for Minolta Macro Rokkor 50/3,5 that had been modified to adopt onto EOS Canon bayonet mount, infinity position was moved to the most retruded position to focus much more further point. Basically, old Minolta SLR flange back is designed at 43,5mm and the thickness of EOS bayonet is 1,5mm, so the infinity focusing point is put 2,0mm anteriorly counting the difference from EOS 44,0mm. Moving stopping point at infinity position on this macro lens is relatively easy, just removing rubber focusing ring and pealing away holding plastic tape under the rubber ring. The discrepancy was almost eliminated to obtain the focusing at infinity position if the iris is closed at f-5,6 with compensation posteriorly about 1,7mm. Though focusing at infinity at full aperture is not established, this adjustment is enough for a specific close-up purpose. This modified Rokkor 50/3,5 would be an intimate equipment from now carrying with me all the time.

Thrust adjustment

The strongest Typhoon #16 is coming across to South-Western part of Kyushyu now and the weather condition is not stable because of the pressure influences even at Osaka area.

A periodical air-cooled VW event is now held at Takao Park Way parking place by some group in Kyoto, hotter climate today prevent me from taking part in that affair, over 35 degree celsius temperature is not acceptable for my 1302 Super Beetle without any air conditioning system.
In order to escape from dull and muddy steering reaction, replacement of rear trailing arm inner bushes are indispensable, probably torn off between inner and outer connections? Movable and limping phenomena on this parts would invite a mentioned strange reaction, I can say so according to my experiment on lateral supporting test in EP82 TOYOTA Starlet with 3 links rear axle designing.

The mechanical condition of NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz has been settled after the last adjustment, so precise measuring of frontal wheel alignment would performed today, knuckles of it had been removed a part while hub bearing replacement. 70kg weight would be set on driver's seat in position for reproduction of actual operating condition. Precisely adjusted wheel alignment on NCP10 would establish some firm, tight and solid steering reaction if it has rear torsion beam axle design, as the linearity of straight running is dictated mainly by reduction of the thrust angle.

Asked work


I was asked to repair a memorial clock to put on some place, the movement mechanism is out of order, so, replacement of the parts there would recover the original performance. That's good am I keeping the replacement parts with some fitting problem, the diameter of stylus holding shaft and original ones, there are three fitting procedure, hour, minute and second. The construction shows that the battery is AM3 1,5V standard one. I'll try this asked work while my free time.
The movement works well and the styluses are distorted as to hit each other, so just an adjustment of tracking surfaces in correct position would recover the performance without any parts replacement?
Delay and gain adjustment might be necessary?
I must deal with this kind of manual technology to reassembling Leica M3 mechanical old camera and the knowledge of electricity to design a low frequency amplifier? Sometime difficult for a geriatric like me?

No harvest



Probably, two more weeks are necessary to see full bloom of Cluster amaryllis this year. I came across to some historic battle field, Genji and Heike period around in 1184 with equipments of zhaodong, bow & arrow on horse riding.

Well adjusted XH200 B-Vectra contributed to comfortable driving on both highway and general road. But realized I again the perception of ignorable danger of sleepiness while driving the precisely established on wheel alignment and geometric construction reading to too stable performance of straight running. Less concentration on steering adjustment while straight running invites laziness and detente reading to sleeping while driving, it's awfully dangerous!

Run about for objects

Repaired XH200 OPEL B-Vectra would be tested today, the shift selector linkage was the point by application of rubber inner insert utilizing a family use water valve packing. I'm going to run about for Cluster amaryllis flowers from now.
The equipment used today would be Leitz Telyt 280/4,8 and Telyt 200/4, both of them are designed for Visoflex system, bur some Pentax Helicoid Extension Tube K and specially modified adapter made it possible to set on recent Canon Eos mount Digital body. Produced over 50 years ago as they had been, no mold invasion is observed on lens surfaces in addition to the mint outside appearances. Hidden pleasure would be tasted by these ancient excellent ones today.

Cluster amaryllis

A season for Cluster amaryllis flowers have come this year again. As lost I a chance for taking photos last year, I dare wanna do it now working that would not disappoint anyone. Equipments are prepared for the purpose, Minolta Macro Rokkor 50/3,5 that was modified the mounting bayonet adopt into Canon Eos Digital body. Color, astringency, resolution and sharpness are excellent enough to satisfy my desire, worth for watching and endurable at least one week putting it in my room.
Composition, understandable, not likely, in good lighting are the requirements.
I'm going to taking photos on coming holiday in Autumn breeze after a long interval.

Revolution

Troublesome exhaust muffler removing procedure would be done by loosening header pipe removal on both sides. Also, the weight of automatic trans-axle main body must be supported by any way, because the rear mount parts would be removed prior to disassembling rear

B-Vectra repaired



XH200 OPEL B-Vectra shift linkage was repaired yesterday by placing rubber material into ball joint portion.
I've realized again that the astringency of shift lever movement does affect on drive feel so much. This tendency is the same if it might be a manual trans-axle as experienced on VW 1302 Super Beetle, elimination of antero- posterior backlash existed in shift rod coupler. So, any backlash nor hysteresis is not permissible if comfortable shifting work is desired.  All the automobiles I'm keeping has enough original performances not to make me desert them at all with heartful communications each other. What to give up in future?

MPT for BC7?

As we know, SUBARU Legacy has All Wheels Driving system transferring driving power by means of transfer clutch with multi-plates clutch plates and some tight corner braking effect is experienced so often after 150,000km use. My BC7 has the same inconvenience without exception. It is relatively easy to obtain the replacement parts for that if the parts number is noticed to the dealer. Unfortunately, BC7 LSi US model is the only one that had been imported by Fuji Heavy Metal Industry Co. regularly from ISUZU and SUBARU Automotive, Indiana, so out of domestic model in Japan, the number is vary rare, below 50 in total. Consequently, SUBARU customer relations head office has not enough information record, this is why I have difficulty in obtaining the matched genuine parts number. I must inquiry again the number because the number yesterday was the one for EJ18 model with 4 clutch multi- plates showing 4 plates designing, parts illustration shows that for 2,2L NA model with 5 plates independently. How about asking that for BF7 Japanese domestic model that had been existed regularly in the catalog? Complicated but interesting examination would be the task for the time being for me.

Pain

I wake up this morning to experience severe acute pain of the left leg calf, unbearable to refrain from shouting. Immediately could I realize the reason for this body problem, the clutch work for VW 1302 Super Beetle with 4 speeds manual trans-axle. In spite of clutch arm replacement into longer one and the reduction of clutch pedal repulsion, the affair happened, how come? The generation of change must be accepted by a geriatric? Must I change my automobiles into much more sophisticated clutch system, DSG? God might give me some warning on sticking to the outdated and selfish idea?

Repair





I spent yesterday on repairing NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz & a personal computer fixed in my working place. Vitz required the replacement of oil seal installed in differential gear box on the left side, because of 3 dimensional crowded situation of DIJ in relation with frontal main bar, special tool had to be newly made by DIY utilizing old shock absorber piston rod of VW 1302 Super Beetle front strut mechanism.
The inconvenience of oil piling there had been caused by the replacement of drive shaft itself, long used oil sealing rubber material has tendency to be loosened it's flexibility under the heated and gear oil circumstance if closing coil spring might be invested in the sealing lip ring. As Vitz's motor mounting design is longitudinal one, pre-load adjustment is not required on differential gear side bearing, a roller bearing was observed after removing oil seal part. I conclude that difficult task could be done if desperate efforts was exerted under an insufficient working facilities without any full-fledged lifting equipment.

The personal computer had some inconvenience in SD card reader bay, so a bulk part was prepared for repairing at 1,500yen. When I opened ATX Tower box, so surprised I was to perceived dirty mold and dust on CPU cooling fin situated on the i3 chip after a half year use. Periodical maintenance every 6 months on PC is necessary at any rate, so I realized.

Troubles

The Open University of Japan taught me about pharmacology, antiphlogistic, antimicrobial disinfectant and antibiotics those were studied about 40 years ago. Newly invented ones were a little, my memory has still remained relatively clearly, my cortex is not infected by aging. Thanks to an introduction of digital management system, not a few error comes out and some efforts are required to correct them, especially in billing outsourcing. Loss of a considerable amount that cannot be ignored has revealed these days, that might be a rumor top valve? I hope that it should not become exaggerated.

Inconvenience of shift position selector has occurred on XH200 OPEL B-Vectra, the reason is already known by experience on former Vectra sedan that had been deserted because of X-20 motor fracture caused by the break of cogged timing belt. Inner plastic bearing must be warn at ball joint free end at selector arm on Aishin trans-axle. It would be re-reinforced by self curing acrylic resin with some special technique. Heavy lead battery removing procedure is waiting for me.
As for the ATF piling from differential gear box side seal on the left side on NCP10 Vitz, oil seal parts are already prepared in addition broken aluminum wheel center cap destroyed while measuring procedure last time at the dealer's pit. I would visit there again this morning for replacing inconvenient parts.

Living environment

One of the purpose of life for a man might be earning for acquiring land assets, home to nourish next generation? Then what will happen in future if all the necessaries had been obtained without any efforts to sweat at a young age? My son's circumstances are the same as upper description and there are two opinion on that, one is that no effort does not always mean good condition, because experiences are acquired on the way of that, another opinion is that he can arrive at the starting point younger than another and he has to go further from an observation in long run of life?
I'm going to see him today, what his opinion would be in future?

Change?

Morning glory in my garden has reduced in number these days suggesting that this summer season is ending. It's convenient for an early bird coming home at night commuter like myself, because any cooling air conditioning system for an automobile is not required, air-cooled VW without the system is available.
Discarding two of my keeping automobile, XH200 OPEL B-Vectra and BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi are the candidates, in spite of being in the best conditions for both of them. Too good to be deserted on Earth, how come? Then air-cooled VW 1302 Super Beetle and NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz would be remained after all.

VW AD motor sound

Old VW Air-cooled flat 4 1600cc OHV "AD" motor combustion noise gives me the most pleasant feeling of satisfaction that is very similar with that of Strings of orchestra. The sound is perceived as a comfortable vibration rather than simply some noise, and it is also an indispensable stimulation to be supplied on my Semicircular canals through Cerebellum. And this stimulating sound must be discerned periodically without end, because this is the true reason for me to live my own life.
Combustion noise here I say is completely different from some louder exhaust noise, I dare say, the sound from valve overlapping so to speak that of Original inspiration. The most favorable note is heard when the best balancing is established with the load.

Neighborhood trouble

Some childish claim is proposed by one of the neighbor around my villa, very trifle and stupid opinion they have, fallen leaves from my garden closes the grooves flowing just in front of entrance, that happens seldom occasionally. The reason why the flowing is blocked by dusts and leaves are illegaly formed net by them, so without unnecessary barriers, all the water flowing are favorable? They insists to cut off our tree, how come?
In addition, they oblige us to cut out our persimmon tree, because it causes allergic reaction by tree caterpillar on the leaves, crazy opinion don't you think?
As for my opinion, you had better move to some artificial space than natural one in the mountain, if you do not like, natural water flowing, leaves nor insects. All the living things have right to live on earth and they are not alway paying best attention to you and the best way to live in peace is to know you are not a master of the world, so change not others but you, yourself!
Before that, you had better cut out your tree branches that are invading and occupying a part of our garden, please?

3M DI-NOC

3M DI-NOC Film was applied coordinating another pillars by myself, eliminating no longer unnaturalness. LCD supporting pillar was applied in accordance with recent digitalization in my laboratory room. The sheet film has been kept since the last refurbishing operation by the professional engineer. This work had been finished prior to the electric wiring correction for the computer power supply. Now all the works today has over. I'm going to bring heavy equipments to my villa.

Absurd fear?

Two specially trained engineers came to my laboratory to make up the digital archive for our conventional customers taking time interval as long as 6 hours. One of them said after all," I feel some great sense of accomplishment!". Actually they made desperate efforts to do that, the D-Day was set at the beginning of next month, but the planning was changed into this month according to my ardent passion to start as soon as possible.
Anyway, all the matter of our laboratory has begun to move toward the decided direction with no returning.
My son insists to continue our business computer all the time with no stopping, but I feel that it's better for HD's lives to live longer if they were stopped while midnight. I don't know which is the better, continue rotating or stop when they were not in use.

Two Siemens X-Ray system from my intimate friend would be moved to my villa today, also a Kinematography system would be done in same manner including unnecessary devices.
Many an affairs being tiresome happens these days, because it is the time for a transition period of generations.
Does my son have enough appreciation to continue our laboratory instead of me? Does he go well with our conventional customer?

 Digestive system in my body start to move and to being activated in normal condition, relatively hard working, X-Ray system loading onto my B-Vectra wagon early this morning has made my body system all awakened. So, I should work on a manual labor using all of the body muscles periodically at least once a week.

Revolution

Digital archives of customer management prevents me from going out to play with an Amphibian this afternoon. The appointment with the organizer was cancelled yesterday, because an engineer would come and spare time with us till evening. I must endeavor myself in overcoming the newly introduced digital machinery very soon, otherwise our extravagant spending would be wasted.
Tomorrow, an electric wiring engineer would come to change connections with continuous power supplying for our new computer system. Consequently, my free time would be fully occupied by extraordinary requirements this week end.
The transition to reform anything takes time and effort, now is the time.
