14 years use of period is long enough to cause cytopathic effect on the lubricant inside of Automatic Trans-axle position sensor. The terminal positioning coil spring had lost their original tension pressure and hardened grease around prevented both the springs and the terminals move smooth.

After cleaning and re-lubrication could acquired original smooth movement and performance. Unpleasant shift levered shock disappeared well and no lighting at Check Engine warning lamp is found after treatment.
