Active day today

I'm prepared for the Legal Inspection for XH200 OPEL B-Vectra today, filling out the documents would be done in advance, it will be finished earlier than usual. There is no defect found to loose the Inspection on B-Vectra, so I would return home and get start next job, disassembling the machinery in Mino Midorigaoka. Some special tools are in the cargo room of Vectra already for the purposes.

I decided to choose Takara Axis90 model and Siemens Sirona F1 would be left untouched, because the same model has been moved to his new office and is running now there. The periodical replacement parts for Siemens old model is not always available in some indispensable parts, so he should keep model F1 as a machine for parts supply in future.
As a matter of fact chose I much easier way this time, maintaining domestic model by domestic producer Takarabelmont . Now I have no stress to proceed to next step, fully mechanically controlled machinery is my favorite one instead of sophisticated electronic micro computerized with many replaceable electric wiring cards with many semi-conductors on board inside.

I have some idea to introduce LED lighting system for that of operating area, elimination of bulky, heavy, getting in working space hitting my own head thousands of times. Very tiny, lighter, smaller and easy to move the lighting direction would be available if recent prevailing LED light might be applicable, even a small LED lighting electric power supplied by smallest cell battery might be possible. I feel that long lasted Iodine lamp period as long as half a century has been over already replacing into LED. This kind of system changing phenomena is similar with that of camera field from Silver salt period to Digital one, don't you think?

No free time


I have made up my mind to put Radio Control model airplane for decoration onto the reception counter ceiling area of our new laboratory. I have been keeping this scale model Taube for long time period intending fly it by myself actually, changing my planning into only decoration. This is not a toy for kids but for a man especialy for geriatric. Very rare and unusual good as it is, this one is worth exhibiting.

I'm really in at a loss which to choose on our additional working machinery, Siemens or Takara.
Though production policies are different each other, both of them are attractive promptly.
Sirona F1 produced in West Germany(of that generation) Siemens has designed under outstanding concepts and the fine quality control with the high cost leading to higher running cost.
On the other hand the Takara company has enough capability and long lasting history of production especially covering almost of shares in another field, the production quality is excellent in durability with easier maintenance task at low cost replacing parts.
Selection would be done soon, tomorrow afternoon, I'll disassemble the machinery by myself after the Legal Inspection coming around every two years for XH200 OPEL B-Vectra at Kobe Land Transport Office.

German Machinery

Some institute in Fukushima Univ. reported that the Nuclear Pollutant scattered last year by disaster destroyed Nuclear Power Plant in Japan all over the earth turns around taking time period of 40 days. This fact shows that the border between the nations has no meaning any more and the idea to be good only for own country does not stand at all. So, we must change our selfish consciousness into the concept for everyone in the world surviving in peace without starvation.

I have an experience to be defeated by the difficulty of maintaining a German automobile, OPEL B-Vectra, it's very good a car but takes time long to servicing keeping in good condition, replacement parts are not so cheap as those of domestic made one.
Exactly the same nightmare is about to happen in my own business field! Tens years old Siemens machinery is coming to me, with discontinuation of parts supply is one of a critical barrier to proceed for me. On the other hand, I have some idea that they might be overcome by my desperate efforts as a hobby like countermeasure? I would have indispensable opportunity to do that with good and enjoyable work on the way to survive the machinery.
The engineer of the machinery importing machinery company came to me immediately 2 hours later from the negotiation by telephone. He was so friendly to tell me the truth, the disadvantages of introduction of the older German machinery.

The doctor has also another Japanese made machinery in his old office, this is far easy to maintain in future, that equal to my skill and technological level.
I'm really at a loss which way to choose, no nervous problem exists if I take both of them? I have a storage space in my villa in the mountain.

5 of 6 figure dolls have been obtained except the most important one "Fujiko", however hard I might seek around in many Lawson shops, I cannot find it out. Let's try to continue to find out, because 5 dolls had be done already.

DOJ & DIJ




Following the fault information that the applied grease has too much humidity resulting rust and defect of drive shaft DOJ & DIJ in NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz, the prepared replacement parts was maintained this afternoon finishing Uzurano. As shown in the picture, all the grease inside of joints were thoroughly replaced into new and a bit harder one. I have realized the strange clatter jugging noise like small balls does, needle roller bearing was designed in DOJ. This is why incredible noise occurred after warming up, probably too much backlash had been formed between outer and inner laces of rotating portion.
Noisy DOJ installed now might recover by any chance just pulling out DOJ inner parts and replacing into harder viscosity grease?
But it's better replace assembly of them, because the preparation is ready now.

Torn rear end muffler was repaired by sealing material for the preparation of Legal inspection evry two years on coming Thursday. No critical problem was observed in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra in awfully good condition. Try not to forget to carry the official paper especially Tax certificate.

Difficulty of Continuing

Relatively smaller and easier goal that is as possible to reach should be set in my mind, because the possibility to continue would be potentially large. To be continued is the first in anything if it is once decided to do, so the goal have to be smaller and easier not to be defeated by them mentally.
Additionally, self-habit and daily ceremony should not be changed but be stable and be unchanged if the environmental and internally emotional conditions might be changed.
Try to do decided daily routine regularly without laziness, this continuous ceremony would be helpful to keep self mental condition stable.
Upper description is the part of the contents of the old interview to a famous global baseball game player "Ichiro" now in US.
I would follow his way, setting some smaller goal and make desperate efforts continuously to reach it.

I'm going to move some professional machinery from my friend's place to my new laboratory by myself without any assistance of a professional engineer. This is the next goal for me to be reached, imagination looks easy but actually not?

Old 645 camera

One of my old favorite equipment is here, Leica L-Elmar 90/3,5 on MAMIYA 645 in combinations with ASAHI PENTAX helicoid ring that made it possible to focus from 45cm to infinity. As focal length shows it played best part well as a very light and compact standard lens far better than any other 645 format standard lenses. Triplet internal Leitz design with thin and single coating application with enough image circle could alive pictures on many experienced larger transparencies.
At that time the lenses designed and manufactured in Wetzlar Germany were all on the famous theory of "Kante", that is the fine cutting capability of 3 dimension edge area resulting they could succeeded in reproducing the objects alive 3 dimension object on a flat printed surfaces.
This is why I made tremendous efforts to set Leitz lenses on 645 format imaging area.

On the other hand, the mechanism in Japanese SLR(Single Lens Reflector) camera body had great advantages comparing with those made outside of Japan.
Consequently, this modified camera has unforgettable memories packed like sardine.
About the winding knob, Hasselblad made was used in order to the reduction of shortening the width in lateral direction, this fact shows this focal plane shutter equipped 645 format camera was copied from Swedish technology.
1/1000 shutter speed was the same level as smaller format 135 models, that was enough for me with 3 time larger imaging area than Leica's at that time.

Measures

The noise & vibration caused thoroughly removed in blower fan mechanism in air conditioning system equipped in our new laboratory yesterday. A mechanic engineer came from the Mitsubishi company solved the problem by replacing fan motor, some rotation spots discomfort was perceived when done by palpation in one of shaft supporting bearing. As we know radial bearing sometimes makes big noise if a very small defect exists on grooved inner or outer slipping surface or on bearing ball themselves.
As my surprise, the support and stopping surface on the driving shaft was designed as to be done by E shape snap ring, how come? A thinner E shape ring could catch and set firmly on the driving shaft? Such designing method could not prevail in drawing engineers, how come? I cannot accept this kind of error of the basic designing concept! The influence of cost reduction was seen here and there inside of heat exchanging device inside.


The illumination problem was solved of our laboratory also yesterday by newly applying straight type LED lights around the ceiling corner. The evaluation would be done today in practicing scenery in the daytime and at night.
The construction of our new laboratory would be almost finished actually, so the residual payment would be done soon after the negotiation with the representative of the builder.

My body weight reduction has come to 3,5kg per a month! With all elimination of one meal a day, the rate of the desired phenomena is not so apparent, but is successfully ongoing to the toward the goal of 10kg less.

Coming Thursday is the D-day for Legal Inspection for XH200 OPEL B-Vectra at Kobe Hyogo Land Transport Office in Ohgi, so the preparation for the event must be done on this weekend. No critical damage nor defect is found in daily use, but check it much carefully, especially the exhaust muffler gas leakage, once I lost when I had come to Neyagawa Land Transport Office with PEUGEOT 205 SX over 20 years ago.

The cause of burnt chemical material smell was the frontal differential gear oil piling from drain plug, tightening ceremony is necessary or replacing metal packing oil seal? As is often the case, the aging of automobile is mainly that of rubber materials, oil sealing, rubber bushes in axle construction, or sometimes engineering plastic parts, seldom on metal ones.

Maintenance today

Visiting Osaka SUBARU Tezukayama this afternoon for checking my BC7 complaining linger recently. The special engineer having served as WRC SUBARU mechanic found out several failures after driving and lift up inspection, thermostat activates so often may be caused by narrower space of the valve, frontal differential side seal oil piling especially left side and frontal differential gear drain plug oil piling causing oil burnt smell after driving. About the side cover oil seal replacement, I will try when drive shaft DOJ or DIJ boots would be replaced at the same time in future, not so urgent business.

The the essential problem on rear transfer clutch was not so critical, but very initial stage of wearing sign, sooner or later operation would be necessary, but not so difficult available for me, he said.
Also he said the inconvenience of the clutch did not be carried out by pouring Dexiron 2 TOYOTA genuine ATF about 5L in 8L. Only the replacement of internal multi plate clutch 4 ot 5 pieces would recover the original good operation.
About the choice one of them, BE-BLE 3L model and BC7 initial generation US model, he could not determine, because they are located in the extremes polar.

Point surfaces smoothing holding 0,40mm gap adjustment, ignition timing at BTDC 10 degree and adequate air volume control screw on Solex 34PICT3 carburetor had recovered smooth operation of VW air -cooled AD motor in 1302 Super Beetle this after noon. These kind of adjustments on mechanically dynamic parts should be periodically performed every 5,000km use. Trans-axle gear change becomes easy to do after smoother combustion has attained.

42-M adapter

I have a planning to make up a 42mm Praktica to M bayonet mount adapter, of course the flange back 45,5mm must be established on M bayonet flange back 27,7mm resulting the compensation depth would be 17,8mm. Precise adjustment have to be performed on conventional M3 body with focusing-glass on the film surface.

Deeper consideration




AMA badge came to me from Yokohama yesterday as present for the sake of good friendships for long time, probably this was planned for 75 years anniversary of the group in US.

Strange phenomena experienced this morning obliged me to make up my mind to disassemble the construction of transfer clutch in TZ type automatic trans-axle produced by JATCO over 20 years ago, that had been equipped in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model.
After parking, the connection between input shaft and rear drive shaft could not be separated if the shift position was selected at Parking position and the cooling fan on both side were kept in action without any tendency of cutting off after a minute later.
Then ignition was cut off accompanying a slight body shaking shock toward antero-posterior direction. Next, starting the motor did not find any tightness nor cooling fans operation.
Very strange phenomena like this was the first experience for me on BC7?

Anyway inexperienced huge difficulties are waiting in future for me to repair this automobile, how shall I do? Do I desert this one and replace it into BE-BLE 3L with Flat-6 recent model?
Now is the time to refresh myself?
Or continue this 20 years old BC7?

Lens adapter




As I mentioned the other day, a special lens adapter has finished by DIY, former generation Minolta Rokkor SLR MD lens adopts with Leica M9 bayonet body is some different world on earth!
Range finder focusing coupling is not always necessary if the focal length was less than standard  50mm, closing iris over 5,6, even standard lens might be possible in almost of scenery.
Older lenses before Automatic focusing generation on digital full size image area are some exciting combinations to find new pictures, anything can happen, don't you think?
Additionally, the combination various lens rear cap and M bayonet body cap would widely spread the photographic world. I'm going to try followings:
Minolta 50/1,4 the most excellent standard lens.
Fujica 21/3,4 with Praktica screw mount for SLR.
Leica Super Elmar 15/3,5 for Leicaflex.

M mount with full sized formatting digital body, M9 would be very busy to enjoy new pictures in future.

No-coating lens




Eitakuji, Japanese Buddhist Temple in the mountain that's famous for Shobu Garden visited I yesterday after Kaizuka Southern Osaka. Leitz no-coating lenses were tested commanding a view of Eitakuji with partitioned tomb on the slope. I prefer this kind of way to express the scenery with something alive, not paste as a picture?

Lens adapter for M



I made up my mind to use Minolta MD Rokkor 28mm/2 SLR lens on Leica M9 digital body, of course I know there exists a critical problem, focusing coupler to be combined with body roller cum mechanical construction in range finder.
Because of wider view angle almost twice as standard lens's focal length, closing the iris to f-5,6 enough to obtain to be focused from 5m to infinity, so no focusing operation is necessary. This is why I apply Minolta MD Rokkor 28mm/2 on range finder focusing Leica M9 digital body without focusing coupling. This excellent MD Rokkor would wake up from 10 years period of time hibernation.

Artistic expression

I participated in the 77th Ashiya Symphony Orchestra Regular Concert last night. Only the last program was a familiar melody to me.
Basically, I don't prefer dissonance of modern music with louder sound, I'm anxious about the health conditions all instruments that were obliged to work beyond their capacities, better study on the delicacy of the instruments, because biggest and loudest sound are not always meant the better artistic expression?
Also, all the instruments especially with some strings must be maintained after being abused?
Is it true by the way, that the conductor there last night had some intimate relations with Herbert von Karajan? The conductor should decide all of the artistic tastes of the playing music, no? He should tell unacceptable big and saturated noise from necessary fortissimo sound.

Today I would come to Kaizuka City near Kansai International Airport to meet with an old friend, who is enjoying Radio Control model airplane there, remembering past 25 years ago---.

Affairs today

Vacuum master for XH201

Used automobile parts arrived from Chiba Pref. this morning, replacement parts brake master back & master cylinder assembly for B-Vectra, though I imagined that the 1 way valve should be equipped in vacuum connecting nipple, it was in vain, XH201 parts was the same as for that for XH200. Judging from the tendency seen in domestic produced models, independent 1 way valve in the vacuum line is the most unlikely, I feel some lack of sophistication in automobile parts productive designing.

Inconveniences


The air conditioning system for business in our new laboratory has a noise problem, that like a noise and vibration caused when some bulldozer was in action with 10m distance exactly the same as an experience at the former laboratory in station development.
The hurting ears noise is caused not by outer heat exchanger but by simply blower fan, probably because of lack of integrity of the dynamic balance of the fun construction or the motor itself?
The engineer from the manufacturing company would come to us, basically I have no intention to blame nor condemn the related engineers, because it is often the case as an initial failure for newly introduced machinery, the importance is fully guaranteed counter-measure in all fields.

7 or 8 lighting devices would be set at ceiling area, original designing is just like a lighting decoration, the perception of lighting method is completely from that for the illumination of the operative field, that should be in good contras with circumstantial sauce with good combinations.
Further researching in this concept is required in our field.

Closed today

It's a medical examination day today for the elementary school in the neighborhood every year in this season. 150 student with 3 grades are performed, students have been reduced in number recently because of low fertility in our country, I feel such kind of tendency acutely.
I'm going to enjoy servicing on my newly obtained bicycle after noon.
Now it has a problem on front hub bearing, tightening and clearance adjustment is not enough, considerable backlash is there. Additional 2 pieces of  5mm nuts are necessary for cargo box re-setting?

Illuminance balance

Too much high contrast calls eye fatigue between the lighting illuminance at the surgical field and that of atmospheric indirect one. So, some re-verification of them have to be performed for our new laboratory, verifying the results from the failure of the set once as an experimental attempt. Probably, much more additional stronger lighting devices would be required if we insist on indirect lighting design following my son's proposal. Basically, lighting change of day & night illuminance is very inconvenient for our definitely precise surgical procedure.
Any improvement of working environment especially in lighting at working place is worse doing for our field, otherwise there would be difficulty in contributing with works of uniform high quality. Lighting with adequate contrast balance is important.

Treatments

We will have some rain fall this afternoon, so enough exercise must be done before noon. And I would have dental treatment in my friend's on the left upper 1st molar, root canal treatment. He is one of a graduate of 4 year doctor course in the department of Endodontics Treatment Technology at Osaka Dental University few years ago, I completely rely on his fine finger work.

AD motor in VW 1302 Super Beetle equipped with Solex 34PICT3 carburetor shows a worse mood because of seasonal temperature change, I have gotten accustomed to adjusting air volume control screw adequately with being to the point. As is often the case, I feel much more fine pitch setting design is necessary for precise air volume control adjustment, it's just like that in focusing microscope in tremor screw phase by means of rough coarse screw, requiring very precise adjusting with concentration.
Though I have never checked exhaust gas mixture by the device that's same as one in Legal Inspection, I have enough confidence to clear the regulatory limits of CO 4,5%, HC 1,200PPM. I can feel and smell the exhaust gas emission control, because I had been experienced about the technology to adapt the regulation with WEBER 40 DCOM carburetor equipped in PEUGEOT Talbot 205 Rallye homologation model for application for WRC privately. Over ten years interval of keeping it and of maintaining it by myself was a indispensable and interesting period of time, with the absence of  any device nor equipment, any for comforts were all eliminated even grove box covering except heater system for special purpose, rally championship application, I had enjoyed enough to fulfill my own later automobile life. Consequently, adjusting a simple and single carburetor is not difficult task for me to establish the best adjusted condition.

Result on BC7

As is often the case, escape habit came out again that is incurable all through my life. Multi-Plates-Transfer magnetic controlled intermediate clutch was not disassembled and the work was postponed yesterday.
SUBARU Active Torque Split automatic trans-axle for first generation 4WD Legacy was invited as equipped on my BC7 even for US 2,2L model.
According to a factory engineer's opinion(reliable truth), 150,000km ride would be the time for heavy maintenance on the intermediate clutch that plays a very important part for compensating the rotational difference between frontal wheel and rear one.
In the worst case, the clutch plates would be burned and be fixed tight leading to irreversible destruction.
As for my JATCO automatic trans-axle, locking phenomena happens mainly in 2WD phase and does slightly in AWD stage, but the problem is solved by switching(specially wired into cabin) several time only when parking.
Anyway I would wait and see the result like this.
Test driving yesterday on a highway covering 150km to Uzurano old military airport in Kasai City revealed the establishment of wheel alignment, for no body and nerve fatigue after that was recognized.

MPT in SUBARU AT

As I mentioned before, the toggle switch is prepared on dash surface on just upper position of Exhaust Temp Alarm lamp, so it is possible to exchange AWD to 2WD(FF) while driving. Blocking phenomena could be eliminated by switching, I founded it out. By doing this from the cabin the locked clutch plate could be unlocked probably because of the oil pressure drifting? Let's imagine that any scorching might happen in the worst case, the color of ATF have to be changed from clear pink to dirty blown, so periodical checking would notice me the defect at the clutch surfaces?
I decided to wait and see the phenomena for the time being. The test drive today as long as 120km on highway caused no color change in ATF. Further investigation would be done by checking ATF color change.
Automatic trans-axle, automatic driving system and well established wheel alignment and constructive geometry, driving on the highway  are the good requirement to invite Sandman on earth, the best care must be taken not to sleep while driving, because the situation of sleeping with eye opening surely happens!

Old Leitz lenses on Digital body

Elmar 135/4,5 Elnst Leitz Wetzlar lens with no coupling with body equipped range finder (distance meter) originally is set on Canon Digital SLR body with hand made adapter covering from 1200mm close up to infinity utilizing ASAHI PENTAX helidoid adapter ring.
Thank to this specially manufactured adapter system, this lens could get a life with fully handy and useful performance after 70 years since it's production at Wetzlar in German Empire period before WW2. All the old Leitz lenses are set comfortably on Canon digital body except relatively newer 200/4 Telyt.
Because of a Canon narrower imaging format area, the focal length would be extended to 150mm, it shows still good unique depictions, this is caused by not only lens design but also the naked lens surfaces without coating. It's true the capability of ray transparency might be inferior to recent multi-coated lenses, but it has unexplainable fascinations, the picture obtained through this non coated lens has still has something that can not be done by modern lens, probably why the coating material might block something important to make the picture alive. As a usual manner, lack of color contrast could be compensated by color contrast adjusting by software, Photoshop. I rather Old Non Coating lens than modern multi-coated with computer designed ones.

Deviated measure

As the first step of counter-measure for the failure in Multi-Plate-Transfer system, I have imagined a most simple way, just removing drive shaft without further treatment in center differential mechanism. No outer mechanical factor would not be applied to half broken MPT if the connection from rear axle rotational movement should be cut off? Of course our legal inspection does not allow such kind of modification in drive train, the removed propeller shaft have to be installed as it should be rotationally every two years.
Basically I don't feel any need for AWD system for my own terms of use, there are more of a disadvantage rather than my another automobiles with 2WD system.
About the use of an AWD automobile in severe condition, in use of muddy and snowy climate, is not so effective, because the tires equipped on the wheels are the most greatest factor, with ordinal radial tires does not play well, so, only specially designed tires are the importance, not AWD system.
Unnecessary mechanical friction resistance loss could not be ignored in AWD mechanical construction, also the weight increased for that exceeds 70kg, exactly equivalents to the weight for one person crew.
It goes without writing here, increase of fuel consumption of AWD system can not be avoided, no way to escape from physics.
All the SUBARU trans-axles equipped with Active Torque Split mechanism must have the same problem of MPT system like that I have experienced, 150,000km span life is just a bit shorter?
Consequently I made up my mind that as a first counter-measure for the inconvenience in MPT, just removing the propeller shaft would be performed. Further use continuing inconvenience in this inconvenient condition should invite the scorch of the intermediate clutch leading to complete destruction.

Difficuty in keeping condition


The increase of ceder pollen scattering has much to do with global warming recently. In the atmospheric condition, someone might be suffered from troublesome symptoms especially on mucosal tissue, itching, blister swelling, etc.. Actually, one of my friend has been done when he passes through Kii Peninsula once a week.

Net surfing to obtain the information about SUBARU AWD system lets me know how much researches and developments participated in the manufacturing productions had been done for these 20 years interval.
Anyway long term trial would start from now to conquer the problem on intermediate differential gear equipped in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, that is multi-plates transfer system controlled by magnetic duty solenoid, there is some anxiety if I might destroy it in appearance of non-renewable? Not a few second-handed used automatic trans-axles in YaHoo Auction are exhibited, some of them might be helpful in case of falling into irreversible accident while a future maintenance processing as I did for ABS control mechanical unit before?

Critical failure on BC7

Critical problem has come out on the trans-axle of BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model on earth, Active Torque Split intermediate multi-plates computer controlled electric magnetic clutch for automatic torque converter model!
Though I had accepted the information from a factory technical adviser to short the clutch system to drive as FWD automobile, the fact that I had done it for a while might have caused the problem this time? The step wearing on the smooth slipping surface of internal constructive mechanism have to be the reason for locking phenomena in tight corner situation?
Judging from the Web site information, replacement of ATF might solve the problem like this case, so, I'm going to do that as the first step of counter-measure for my BC7?
In case I could not obtain good result, disassembling of the intermediate clutch would be performed. Now, TOYOTA Castle genuine D-2 ATF is inside of JATCO automatic trans-axle, mismatching might be there, with the same generation but different company. I know that generally the ATF is specified for the specific trans-axle, it's just like important blood type for human body, no different type of it is not allowed, the death of it would be invited if confused.
Easy choice of easy idea might have caused the problem this time, however the genuine parts they had been with different manufacturers?
I hope that total replacement of blood in the JATCO automatic trans-axle would recover the original performance?

Intermediate clutch failure

I made up mind to negotiate with the SUBARU dealer engineer about an inconvenience on my BC7 Legacy US model, braking phenomena at parking speed turning phase. Though I diagnosed the cause of it was the lowering of body height leading to destruction of steering linkage 3 dimensional balance, he immediately defined as the defect of transfer clutch! Remembering the past when I was a owner of ISUZU Bighorn Part time mechanical 4WD model, the braking phenomena is the same as the time when parking it without releasing free wheel hub engagement.
Consequently his advise immediately make me realize that my diagnosis on this problem was not to the point.
As a matter of fact, completely different pit work is required from suspension spring replacements, removing propeller shaft, disassembling transfer clutch case from trans-axle rear part, multi-plate clutches separation from the casing and smoothing the stage wear surfaces, very complicated procedures I have to overcome on earth!
He says I will do that because I have never given up on the way before?
No way to escape is found because my mind has been obliged to soar by a simple encouragement to a simple minded layman like me?

Elmar 50/3,5 on Canon

Putting a 60 years old lens on digital SLR camera I did for Elmar 50/3,5 with close up magnification 1/3 ratio. As shown in the pictures, inconvenient and unnecessary internal light reflections were prevented by laying special anti-reflect cloth with fine black hair transplantation, this kind of trifle modification is an indispensable process especially for old lenses with primitive lens coating. This smallest and very thin pancake lens is enough to cover almost of subjects.
As for lack of color contrast because of single coating, some image processing by software Photoshop would compensate enough following the usual manner done when Elmar 65mm/3,5 macro lens had been used.
Most of lenses manufactured by most of production companies recently are designed with computerized solutions, so the definitions are almost the same. Utilizing old designed lenses is worth doing among them, so I think, there may be some possibility to obtain photos of different representations?

At a loss?

One or two of my automobiles keeping now have to be deserted without any arguments because of parking place. My son would come back here OSAKA in few months to work with me in our new laboratory carrying bag newly bought BRZ SUBARU Sports car and BLE SUBARU Legacy 3L & 6 cylinders.

VW 1302 Super Beetle in good condition would be continued for the time being giving her some additional painting work. Oldest can not be a reason to be deserted rather than  coming to the conclusion on opposite direction.

NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz 60,000km used is also in good condition including air conditioner except frontal drive shaft noise on both sides, but only the noise is the problem because all the lubricant inside had been thoroughly replaced into conventional viscosity Chromium molybdenum grease. Further good play would be expected covering more 150,000km.

XH200W OPEL B-Vectra is the most useful and universal wagon that can accommodate anything, long spanned material such as Radio-control air plane wing can be burdened without any stress. In good condition except air conditioner system.

BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model with replaced suspension into GC8 Impreza GDB WRX Turbo model is also in the vest condition except air conditioning system.

SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza used only 20,000km for 8 years is good F/R model with YAMAHA 3S-GE last production 200HP motor controlled by VVTi-2 valve timing and lifting value continuous control.
No reason would be found on this automobile to be deserted, because all the equipments work in favorable condition.

All of 5 automobiles are serviced and maintained perfectly without fine line to money by myself spending almost of my free time for these 10 years.

Then I'm at a loss what automobile in the group should be thrown away, all of them are cute and lovely like my children, how come?

Weight reduction

15kg over weight of my body is going to be reduced, the best way is just "eat less". So, I determined to do that by omitting one meal a day by cutting out lunch in two halves and residual a half is taken around at 6 o'clock in the evening without any snacks nor alcohol after that.
The result would be appeared in a month with 10kg reduction at the least judging from the former attempt. Eating dinner late at night in some amount is the worst for good health, because some no consumed energy while sleeping would often stored as fat tissue both in inside and outside of human body gaining body weight gradually and endlessly.
Aging, obesity and lack of exercise are the cause of any disease, the more people in the world die of obesity rather than starvation.

Valuable TOOT value

The critical problem was found on steering reaction while turning at parking speed on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, this is why I had replaced suspension coil springs and shock absorbers from original US specification to GC8 WRX GDB model's ones, leading to suspension height reduction as low as 40 mm. As a matter of fact the steering linkage and knuckle ball 3 dimensional position had been changed from originally designed one to uncertain and unpredictable situation. Probably TOOT value must be at ugly one causing braking effect while turning if the wheel alignment at straight running phase has been established in suitable condition.
First of all, careful checking and scaling must be performed on the difference of 3 dimensional ball joints positions promptly before replacing back the coil suspension springs as they had been in US designing. The most shortcut would be original coil spring to regain the original suspension height leading to re-establishing the factory designed originally 3 dimensionally correct correct relations even in dynamic movement. High performance tire with fine gripping property has zoomed in this kind of inconvenience.
The original coil spring and WRX dumpers would be a better choice, rear strut upper mounts are those for initial generation being different from later models, upper mount and upper spring holding plate are in one piece. I have no emotional resistance to rise up body height as US standard, because I have enjoyed enough lower one in this Legacy model. I want some gentle drive feel because of my age.
I'm going to solve this problem from now.

Transient of steering reaction

ABS system block has disassembled before throwing away that had been removed from BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model 3 months ago causing oil piling problem carried out by my own mistaking. When brake master cylinder was replaced for periodical maintenance I gave too much violent pressure on the brake pedal before air bubbles had been contained in the pipe line to ABS block.
An activating power motor, actuators and electric controller box were kept for some emergency spare parts including oil sealing O rings also. Many a special mechanical parts were incorporated in the system.

The steering reaction of VW 1302 Super Beetle has considerably improved after the rear trailing arm outer bushes adjustment just by 180 degree rotation. I can feel the rear wheel positions on both side probably because of the elimination of unnecessary compliance including inconvenient hysteresis phenomena. To my surprise the transient characteristics of steering reaction while turning has changed into far better one, of course the straight-line stability also increased in addition to rising characteristic from a straight running phase.

I want to conclude on the experiment this time, very trifle change on rear lower arm hinge bush could cause remarkable change of steering reaction, changed rear compliance does affect on the frontal steering reaction with close ties each other. Comparing the compliance of rear axle, the thrust has increased after the treatment, the latter result is the correct state of course! 

Maintenance on VW 1302

The last residual Nuclear Power Plant would cool downed this afternoon in Japan, not because of some failure but because of periodical maintenance servicing program. Though some opponent groups have celebrated in a festive mood on the condition without any Nuclear Power Plant activation, is it possible to be secured the sufficient electric power especially in Kansai area on this summer hottest day?

The servicing on rear trailing arm outer bush of VW 1302 Super Beetle yesterday brought some remarkably good result, an improvement on astringency of steering reaction especially the convergency of centricity. The stability of lateral direction on rear axle construction has much to do with the convergence center of the steering action, this fact was proved also on 40 years Beetle again, the Physical phenomena happens on any vehicle with no relation on how much old it might be.

Only the outer round bush has repositioned with 180 degree rotated with no replacement, this treatment carried out the completely different steering feel, a thin layer rubber additive on the outer and side surface of the inhabitant rubber bush would make effect for enforcing the viscoelasticity of the rubber bush, because the permanent deformation would occur sooner or later.

Also I found out the reason for small oil piling from the beginning she had come to me last year, the criminal was a drilled hole made by mistaking, replacing the sealing gasket and liquid oil sealer application would solve this problem completely. And a loosened band on the left heat exchanger was re-tightened. The climate change with more than 10 degree up obliged me of tire air pressure resetting, lowering 0,2 kg/cm2 for all the vehicles I'm keeping.

Atherosclerosis

It goes without writing that any disease are triggered by aging, obesity and lack of exercise, I'm interested especially in Atherosclerosis leading to Angina pectoris from which modern people have been suffering. Avoiding overeating, we geriatric might pay attention on the matter that well thought out nutrients, adequate exercise and acquisition of regular lifestyle with out any anxiety.
Remembering my passed, about 40 years ago I had some connections with a professor Shimamoto who was an inventor of special medicine with some effect on ALS(Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) representing the 3rd Internal Medicine, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, also the representative of Technical Committee on hardening of the arteries, the name of the medicine was Phthalazinyl. After all some amount of the medicine were sent to a foreign hospital in Israel Tel Aviv without censorship as having a special diplomat.
Consequently my interests in medical field had been destined to the specific direction.
Now I have to care for that theme more deeply and seriously because of my own private necessity, starting experiment and research now in this field again, I feel very happy for the  presence of Web sites, because there exists the gate and the door of international libraries those are always opened and are capable to open and enter however deeper as I want at any time according to my convenience! It's an incredible paradise that never be thought while my young period of time, actually like a dreamy paradise!
My daily lives from now without Personal Computers would be impossible on earth.
Though an accumulation of knowledge and datum might be a play of computer storage, but still now the expansion of logic and ultimate decision of events owes to human discretion.
As a matter of fact we must bear in mind that the best attentions should be paid not to be involved into the vast sea of information.

Old cameras

I have been ill in bed for these two days because of back pain, that symptom appears only in specific season beginning of summer just before rainy season that often the case as my chronic and habitual disease. One more day is necessary to overcome this bad body condition as usual.
A nostalgic initial stage digital camera came out while the organization of shelves in my room. Some useful pictures have obtained after charging & experimental trial with no problem if it is used only for YaHoo auction for 640 kpic sized one. Though it has only a single focal length at 5,8mm, I would like to use this old camera for the next entry, it might better because some poor resolution may catch eyes of applicants?
I made up my mind that all the silver salt film camera should be thrown away into shelves and junk box, Leica M3, M6 and CLE, also Canon Eos Kiss analogue and Rollei Cord 6by6 double lenses one.
About the Leica cameras, inter changeable M mount lenses would be continued on M9 with full sized format digital body, 3 generations of Summicron F2/50 and 2 of Summilux F1,4/50, 135mm Hektol, 135mm Elmar, 90mm Elmarit. And 125mm Hektol has been used on PENTAX 67 analogue body with interchangeable special adapter arranged by myself, so it had been able to mount on Canon SLR digital body from long time ago, all the 135mm and 90mm had been used with specially interchangeable designed mounting adapter.
I have realized that the fact, mounting any lens on digital formatting body means nothing but lens testing on the personal computer, it may be somewhat interesting but I was bored soon, because taking pictures are not always the same as checking of the performance of the lens, because the energy of the object would be printed enough on the formatting area if it is analogue or digitized one with the condition with poor equipments.

Artificial rearing

Our program for nourishing new generation started 27 years ago at all costs and he has grew up as one of a social member now? He appears so except in front of me?
He insists some additional payment to our new laboratory construction for his private new automobile, over 3,000,000 yen, how come. His apology is like this, he has an enough right to be presented some anniversary gift celebrating his graduation from private medical school without making any detours, one year delay means more 5,000,000 yen for an additional tuition? According to his opinion, passing the National Examination for the medical license without any delay is worth celebrating, if he had failed in one of the exam his parent had to be obliged more expenses. Actually some of his school mates are staying at the University still now. Though his opinion has some convincing, I feel some deception in his saying?
First of all, considerable payment for new laboratory would be done sooner or later, so now is not the time!
Remembering the past, he took my B4 SUBARU Legacy 3L Flat 6 motor few years ago and he modified as he liked, most axle suspension parts, into noisy third party exhaust system, driver's seat into racing tight bucket type and interior decorations. He has spent plenty of money without following any advice saying he did wanted to know by doing anything by himself. His next target is BRZ SUBARU new sports car.
Artificial rearing circumstance might did harm to his independence?
Now he is refusing to work as a general practitioner here in new laboratory nor taking the right to represent our business instead of me. Probably wants he to continue play and to spend some student like sweet daily lives?
Anyway, I'm going to wait until he would realize his own situation and start to move voluntarily, may be it takes 3 to 5 years more?

950kg Vitz

950 kg body weight NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz 1300cc RS exerts ultimate physical performance after following maintenance:
Replacement of sparkling plugs, ATF into TOYOTA genuine T3, brake fluid to DOT#3, stabilizer link bushes, TOYOTA genuine Castle motor oil 5W30.
Ugly wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry were observed in Vitz at the beginning, moving frontal main bar in adequate position and sim insertion between rear wheel hub holding surfaces could enabled to establish the suspension matching finally. Because of torsion beam rear axle designing for the initial generation Vitz allows considerable value of error in the wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry.
To my surprise, displacement of inner race in compliance bushes in rear trialing arm hinge position were apparently observed that had be brought by ill product construction in the factory line. Newly introduced cracked compliance bushes in both front and rear arm hinge portions easily  cause displacement that must affect on wheel alignment discrepancy.
In another words, movable and movable bushes might compensate the errors and resultant discrepancies on automobile's alignment and geometry? This kind of the truth and the fact are not opened to the public, just a talk in research and development level only.

Powere up after charging

Whenever I try to make an additional charging on a car lead battery, I imagine and hope some improvement in the motor power performance. And I have no experience to be betrayed by the result after full charging. Actually feel I comfortable improvement as if the motor has some tune up treatment.
There must be several reasons for the good result:
Fully charged lead battery does not require charging ceremony utilizing motor power, so there exist no power loss for charging?
The sparkling power has increased leading to stronger combustion?
