Super Beetle soon



Air-cooled VW Super Beetle 1302 has not been in my blog these days, this is the reason why so. Re-painting procedure by the professional painting engineer has almost finished and polishing step is left with #3,000 grain sand papers. A contest conditioned Super Beetle would appear soon like a phoenix , 41 years later from it's production. No modification nor remodeling was done on this Super Beetle based on the concept of restoring original condition with fully original VW replacement parts.

Big operation!





Not a few critical problems were found out while I was moving the rear lateral arm rear inner hinge adjustable bolt and nut. As the boots had been prepared as periodical replacement parts, I digested the works last night finding out unignorable problems after removing left side rear driving shaft. Careful observation on the rear differential gear box mounting bracket revealed that the replacement of the part is available by chance, so would I do that utilizing more stronger genuine parts for Impreza GDB. Also, oil sealing parts in rear hub bearing inner portion and differential gear box side oil seals would be done I have been suffering from oil leak here, but, spindles should be removed before that fixed in drive gear inside by means of tight circle clips. Genuine special tool might be required?
In addition, suspension springs would replaced into original higher one(now 35mm lower height for GC8 GDB) with combinations with just a bit stronger shock absorbers for genuine Impreza WRX model. The combination of softer springs and stronger shock absorbers are often the methods by German company methods. Let's see how it would be. I'll be a busy person for BC7 Legacy for the time being.

Remodeling?

Unexpected accident(oil piling) of ABS unit in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model obliged me to shortcut the unit by connecting directly utilizing two pieces of 3 ways joints, I dropped in Yao SUBARU dealer for the after cares on brake system. The datum after scaling were all favorable, the brake action felt on the pedal is far better than the original condition, without appendix ABS unit oil circuitry has been spoiled the better original reactive pedal feel. His saying had been dictated just on a secret table of military strategy meeting, it could be possible, but you said it just in front of ordinary media, the most inconvenient thing that should not be opened in front of Public. Most of the people know about that but not shout about that, do you know why, Mr. fame? All of your assistant are leaving from a sinking ship now. You will not appear in front of us no more.

Layman


I have re-realized again to be nothing but an mere layman after experiencing the accident by chance on brake line air babble ventilation yesterday, I have destroyed ABS unit in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model while ventilation work, brake fluid liquid piling from the ABS unit body was observed! Though I asked and negotiated with the engineer in SUBARU dealer, the answer was negative and dark one, there is no way to repair the unit body, because no repair kit is now available especially sealing rubber parts. The result obliged me to countermeasure utilizing 3 way connecting joints bypassing the ABS unit shown in the pictures. But this is only an emergency measure before finding out another used parts same as burdened in my BC7, just bending the brake pipes, so they could be re-bended as to accept a genuine ABS unit.
This kind of mistakes happen on a layman like me occasionally however hard I might pay attention not to destroy the mechanism. 22 years old BC7 Legacy would be still continued longer passing through difficulties.

ABS unit ventilation



Air venting operation has been neglected since the ABS unit block in BC7 had been replaced last year. Remembering the past, my own careless miss had broken an original unit block when brake master cylinder had been replaced as a periodical maintenance. But, disassembling the original one revealed the work had not not been always necessary, because, no degradation was found in cup and sealing rubber parts. Anyway, the venting operation between the brake master cylinder and ABS unit must be checked under the unit operating condition by shortening with additional wires shown in the service manual. To tell the truth, feel I a little soft and fluffy feeling on the brake pedal reaction, one or two pieces of aberrant bubble must be found on the way of work? I must seek for the deserted original ABS parts in the junk box, because some jumping wiring special connector must be prepared for the procedure utilizing a round shape coupler parts. Because no longer activation of ABS system more than 5 second is allowed, some on/off switch must be wired if the procedure is about to do by a single person, this is the requirement for secondary solenoid ventilation.

Zero Thrust completed

Straight running steering position indicating mark on a handle column would be removed today, because BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model does not desire to monitor any wandering phenomena any more, yes, zero thrust adjustment has accomplished at last with persistent efforts lasted as long as 10 years. Now, I have acquired how to do that in details. As a conclusion, any specific habit dose not exist promptly, in another words, any habit could be eliminated by precise adjustment in not minutes area but in seconds one of angle value of thrust. Even one minute discrepancy in thrust angle could cause lateral wondering habit while straight running, probably plus minus 10 seconds would be some acceptable tolerance?
Once established the "Zero Thrust" condition in thrust angle, completely different world would be waiting for a lamb wandering around everywhere like me.

Osaka City Museum

Japanese Masterpieces from The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is now prevailing in Osaka City Museum at Southern Osaka City situating near Tsutenkaku, Radio Wave Inter-Transmission tower. Almost of the exhibition are the ancient goods in relations with Buddhism those had been exported in old time while we do not have perception about the worth of old and historic cultural artistic works the results are the same as Egyptian ancient cultural heritage now in British Museum. For the sake of friend ships from US Boston, we could meet with our own old heritage for the first time. Because they have been keeping in good circumstances in US, still now they could survive even now, otherwise most of the treasures would be lost, burned or discarded in the early time. We should appreciate their long lasted efforts.

Residual thrust adjustment on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model has performed this morning, plus 0,478 minutes error was corrected in combination with lack of total toe value. All the discrepancy must have been brought by rubber material parts such as bushes imbedded everywhere in moving parts for compliance formation including uneven tire tread surfaces. The tolerance becomes narrower and narrower on every adjustment procedure, patience and persistent efforts would be rewarded some day in very near future.

Percy Faith Orchestra in OSAKA

I have participated in Percy Faith Orchestra Concert this afternoon at Nakanoshima New Festival Hall. They played almost of all famous movie musics running through a hail, remembering the past commemorating movie scenery that I had experienced in my younger days. I was so fascinated just in front of real movie music as to going back to my good past days. This concert was hard to change anything else in the world! I must appreciate to the presenter in Japan OSAKA Itoh Music Company to have given us such a dreamy opportunity today.

The worst news

Following a better news I mentioned few hours ago, I have received the worst news that I had not wanted utmost, one of my intimate friend went away to Heaven this morning who had been in the hospital bed for about 2 weeks without consciousness. The chief complaint was Myocardinal infarction by arteriosclerosis.
Because of manner and custom according to Japanese ancient calendar, the funeral ceremony would be postponed till the day after tomorrow. We will be busy helping, assisting and supporting his family from now. 

Better news!

I'm now at ease now, because the wheel alignment adjusted done on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model yesterday was successful enough to satisfy my 6th sense. The sense of running on a rut has established on the flat ground surface could be obtained as usual even on this mischievous Legacy, just was I rewarded after 10s years of desperate efforts. This strange steering reaction must be obtained by fixing treads on 4 wheels adequately and evenly with the strongest tire tread resistances and grips. This is said on any vehicles with any different drive trains. The attempt this time taught me how to live as a persistent scientific researcher. Say it again to me, "Never give up on anything before it should be overcome!".

Pysical property of rubber

Eliminating the error in scaling and adjusting wheel alignment procedure of an automobile is very very difficult in extreme conditions if the scaling devices were precisely designed, so, even now am I in a no easy task on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model. The enemy is in my mind, "Compromise"! I'll over it come at any rate with desperate efforts. Elimination of uncertainty especially in rubber materials with viscoelasticity and hysteresis phenomena. My working on this strongest enemy would continue without being defeated. Never give up however difficult it might be!
As a matter of fact, plus 1,684 minutes discrepancy in thrust angle was corrected in combination with the correction of excessive total toe value, 1,049 minutes. I'm looking forward to test the result, probably, chronic left side running tendency would be discriminated after 22 years interval from the beginning.

BC7 SUBARU continues

I did a very important job before I start my work this morning for 2 hours on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, frontal axle geometry and wheel alignment adjustment. Minus 20 minutes camber and 1mm total toe were applied promptly on both sides as the result, that is same standard values with E-BLE 3L model. Following the frontal camber value, minus 45 minutes would be applied for rear axle alignments on both sides, these tasks are going to digest at lunch time today.
On the way of left rear camber adjustment, loosening hub case main bolt took me relatively long period of time, but successfully done. Precise adjustment would be performed after work this evening. It is tough to loosen and to tighten several 19 mm bolts and nuts on the way of wheel adjustment, just nothing but muscle working, some satisfaction is felt after that.
I found this morning plus thrust angle by tire outer surface see through method after the fundamental geometric re-setting done yesterday, the tendency of left side running shows also the same effect on the discrepancy. The thrust angle would be adjusted from now in combination with the rear total toe value. Frontal toe value at 1mm-in on the tire scale would be done also in combination with the steering centricity. I hope this 22 old first generation SUBARU Legacy would acquire good alignment balance.

BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi alignment

I did a very important job before I start my work this morning for 2 hours on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, frontal axle geometry and wheel alignment adjustment. Old speakers returned

Another friend want me to return audio speaker set that he gave me few years ago, they had been obtained with his first paid salary and memorial device are the reason, so I accepted his proposal without any argument. To tell the truth, the device had been broken and internal network parts were replaced into new high specification semiconductors and capacitors, now they have far better performance than original designing condition. But, considering about his sentiment and he is only a amateur in the field, I'll return them without saying a sarcasm but with pleasure. I'll never accept them again if he wants to move them back to me because of relatively large keeping space.

Project myu brake pad


Replaced frontal disk brake pad in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model from genuine one to Project myu Wagon takes effect enough to satisfy myself. Judging from the pad surface, more metallic materials should be contained than normal one. The quality and quantity of metallic material inclusion might affect on the physical property of actual braking action, especially on transient property. Casio Exilim

Thanks to a battery replacement procedure on Casio Exilim EX-Z3B model, it's original performances were reacquired safe! Increased battery thickness caused by gas generation inside did harm on the performance of cross key function, now the operations are sure and accurate and far from any chronic disease of malfunction on key pushing reactions. I appreciate the optical performance of the zoom lens made by Asahi Optical Company, as  this model had been a production of tens years ago.  I'll continue this convenient compact digital camera for the time being till it breaks again.
In addition, I have newer Exilim EX-Z57 at my hand that had been deserted by someone because of a trifle reason, lack of anti-camera-shake compensation mechanism. Though the constructors put an emphasis on the point of anti-vibration mechanisms equipped in the camera body or lens barrel, I do not always recommend the performance as to meet with our requirement, setting on the tripod would be available because no newly invented cheap trick could not exceed a conventional but reliable way.

Dysfunction

As my health condition last Thursday was not favorable, so lost an opportunity to go to a good luck charm shrine for prayer on the complete recovery of my intimate friend who has been in the emergency hospital in unconscious condition. We are worry about the fact that he had an experience to have an interval of no breath not pulsing as long as 20 minutes. We will start for the purpose very soon before some rush hour starts. Thinking about the friend, I feel some facial paralysis on the right side since this Thursday, how come? I should take good care of myself!

Old Exilim


The reason for the lost cross key's function in Casio Exilim has become apparent yesterday. Not a little efforts were required in the actual situations to select a desired function controlling cross key behind, it had been like a gambling. Now, it cleared that the stout Lithium-ion battery distorted key board convex figure, consequently, dimensional change caused poor contacts there. Long used special battery must have been causing mischievous reactions. I would like to continue this old Casio compact Digital camera EX-Z38 model even from now after replacing battery, because it has enough capability to satisfy my requirements as a recording device.

Ill in bed yesterday

I was ill in bed all day long yesterday, probably because of overworked myself these days. I must take care of myself enough to keep good condition. I should not do car works if the replacement parts were prepared. I lost the chance for coming to the shrine for the special praying that my friend gets well soon and come back to his office. He is now in a hospital in the state of unconsciousness caused by myocardial infarction. We hope he'll get well ASAP!

SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza

SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza was serviced on right frontal lower arm repositioning at original geometry and the result was so favorable to satisfy myself, sticking phenomena obtained when the setback was eliminated appeared at steering centric position. This condition could be obtained in the required conditions, no setback, no swung rear end nand lateral axle offset. And this is said on any drive trained, F/F, F/R, R/R and M/R. The accuracy of the adjustment procedure has not improved until the consideration about the influences caused by the error and uncertain factor on SAI value also caster angle of the rear axle construction. Thanks to the addition of the factors to the amount of correction, an desirable result was established. The chronic pitfalls were in a familiar place, the King pin angle. Both BC7 Legacy and SXE10 Altezza are now in running state.

3 Minolta Zoom lenses

Lower magnification three zoom lenses are waiting to play a good part of my hobby, all of them were modified to adopt onto Canon EOS digital mount without any adapters equipped with some optical construction for suiting on longer flange back. Just a little adjustment on focusing ring on every lens could compensated the discrepancy of 0,50 mm shorter flange back construction, no complicated adapter construction nor additional optical lens was not required. Old lenses could play well even on an electric imaging element. It's like a long waited dream that we could verify the results on the spot like real time movie. 
Because have a little experiences to use zoom lens for fifty years, I'm looking forward to try these excellent ones from now. The designing technology had been established already in the end of silver salt film period of time, Minolta New MD lens designing generation, so I think.

The 79th Ashiya Symphony Orchestra Regular Concert

Participated I in The 79th Concert by Ashiya Symphony Orchestra at The Symphony Hall in Fukushima OSAKA with being much surprised at an unusual atmosphere. About the program last evening there were followings.
Sinfonietta by Leos Jancek #1 Allegretto, #2 Andante, #3 Moderato, #4 Allegretto, #5 Andante con moto-Allegretto.
Ma Vlast by Bedrich Smetana, Vysehrad, vltava(Moldau), Sarka, Zceskych luhu a haju, Tabor, Blanik.
The lay out of the orchestra has completely changed, Contrabass position was the most side-by-side in the back, especially, as for our surprise, the wind instrument way put on the audience's seats in the back resulting very impressive way of expressions of the conductor. A new star conductor Mr. Hikaru Ebihara played best scattering his fresh energy all over the concert hall, anyway he did perfect!
While it is story I heard after that, he had been taking parts in the practice period of each part from the beginning to the end in every scenery giving his advices to the members. The success of the concert yesterday was the of corresponds to a hard-working by an enthusiastic new star conductor, applause to expect his future works.

Busy holiday


Left rear door inner cover in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model has removed to check the function of opening handle and the lubrication on every moving portion such as window glass regulator gears. As a matter of fact, dysfunction of opening inner handle has been inhibited by the child proof mechanism with small white lever as shown, unnecessary disassembling was performed, how come? Anyway, the rear door inside construction was understood. Now, this car is ultimate condition at all except frontal worn brake pads, as the replacement part has obtained in the Web site of YaHoo Auction, Project myu for wagon model at 1,000 yen in NOS condition, the work would be proceeded very soon.
As I mentioned before, I will play with SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza correcting setback angle and toe-in and camber.
Right running potential habit remains in spite of good thrust angle correction the other day, so, frontal lower arm position would be repositioned at the original condition. It would take me a few hours till going out for The Ashiya Symphony Orchestra Concert. Who would be the Concert Master today? I hope I could enjoy today like last year.

Why Zero Thrust?

Even so, it is very interesting for me to narrow the various constructive tolerance in a machinery especially in a car.

Adjustment & tools




The condition of wheel alignment in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model has become far better than before gradually after wheel alignment adjustment yesterday, the tread performance needs some running period at least 50 km distance to be judged well in order to forget the previous bad habit on tread surfaces, so to speak uneven wear or tire conicity.

Remembering the past of SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza, I moved right frontal lower arm position posteriorly, the stiffness was lost in steering centric position, so, it must be checked again as a challenge. Same procedure is waiting for me as done on SUBARU BC7. Because it has several alignment adjusting points with double wishbone construction, the work would be done without stress, so I hope.

Long used miniature garage jack made in China by Conan dealing company has been in ill condition with oil leakage and pressure leak because of engineering plastic color deformation. Almost of the reason to be deserted this kind of oil pressure power utilized machinery are oil leak or compression leak, and the criminals are oil sealing rubber parts or pressure piston seal rubber valve stiffener made of special plastic. I replaced an upper rubber O shape ring (11-7-2 square cutting shape) and a stiffener for the pressure piston utilizing a piece of nylon tube(11-9-3),shown as yellow piece. As it was lucky for me at a loss how to prepare this tiny special parts, found I the material in my junk box and pipe cutting tool played good part of the work. Now I have no reason to be suffered from dirty oil leakage mark on the ground.
Though this tool has done more works already for these 10 years than the purchased price 1,500 yen, the measure I have done on this today would continue this useful tool far longer than before.
I say to myself that all the tools and equipments should be maintained well and cleanly at any time necessary to carry out difficult work in a good result.

In the hardship

Thrust angle adjustment on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model was performed following the change of geometric construction on the frontal bar toward forward movement and right rear trailing arm hinge point resetting the other day. As almost good enough to drive straight, more break in running is necessary on tire tread surfaces to judge a correct answer, anyway narrowing of tolerance is necessary probably now it has plus minus 2 minutes. Careful checking in the steering linkage revealed some backlash, it must has been brought by steering rack end ball joints or the fitting on rack and pinion gear that would be adjustable by it's prepared mechanism. Tie rod end on both side were replaced already, so my forecast on the problem would be to the points. Goal for BC7 Legacy would be so close as to be touched very soon.
A third party frontal brake pad 15 inch 2 pods caliper is exhibited in YaHoo Auction at 1,000 yen in NOS condition, now aiming it at I am.

Precise alignment

Because I would be occupied by some public school event held every year before noon,  the fundamental wheel alignment scaling and adjustment on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US Model would be performed this after noon after lunch, probably it would take long time till late at night with muscle works. Oil Jack broke

Long used KAYSBA Scissors oil jack fell in to being out of order at last, small and vulnerable construction as KAYABA handy pantograph on is, it has been working well supporting weight partially. Small iron ball and copper oil pressure sealing washer are the fundamental one way valve construction. deforming of this tinny thin piece of sealing material was the criminal of dysfunction. Repeated too much tightening torque applied on the rocking screw might have caused this trouble.
I make it a rule to apply thin aluminum washer in addition when brake hose conjunction portion leakage was found especially loosened and re-tightened occasion. By the way, this is made from aluminum beer can material.  I did it the same procedure on both sides that had been distorted by violent handling.  The result was so favorable and I ascertained it's original performance by repeating high-up and low-down activation for included bubble extraction. This small jack would continue playing a good part in case of necessity in some closed space.

22 years old BC7

Though the main bar replacement work in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model was not so easy task for a geriatric like me, undesirable result was obtained. Shoulder muscle work loosening tightening 17 mm and 19 mm nuts is too much for me, I have come to the generation to consider about some health condition for the next day, I envy for youth and vitality.
Thanks to a fundamental axle geometric adjustment moving frontal main bar and rear trailing arm hinge position on the right side, the character of driving feel has completely changed into far better reaction in every phase. Threatened fear sense of potential where does this car change direction next has been thoroughly wiped out. This is the greatest harvest for me, because my wish of years as long as 22 interval has embodied yesterday. As a residual task, more precise thrust angle adjustment would be performed after some tire tread running in period.

Axle constructive geometry



Deformed rubber parts of strut mount compliance rubber part in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model forced me to move the frontal main bar forward. This phenomena was observed after careful checking this morning and the procedure to do that would not be an difficult task. The weight probably over 200 kg of EJ22 flat 4 boxer motor and 4 speed Jatco trans-axle would be burdened on the main bar, so the resistance would not happen because the suspension springs on both side would push the body weight up to upward. Repositioning would be relatively easy with precise adjusting. Now, I will do that while the idea is lucky day.
Frontal main bar was corrected in forward position by loosening 4 of 17mm nuts for main bar tightening and 4 pieces of 19mm nuts for transverse link rear compliance bush case fixation. As I imagined, right side 1mm and left side 2mm forward resetting was the result, so minus setback condition has been dragging the critical chronic bad habit for 22 years period of time. It was judged at transverse link rear arm compliance bush case outer tightening position comparing with the old mark. In addition, 2 mm difference of wheel base value, right side longer, was corrected by loosening the right side rear trailing arm hinge bush lock nut and re-tightened at the adequate position. Of course I know that the constructive axle geometries were changed in to new circumstance, so wheel alignment would be changed as an inevitable result. Rear toe correction on SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza has taken effect well, the procedure was payed attention especially to the total toe value vector direction, so to speak "Thrust Angle". Following my experiences, the potential right side run tendency must have been brought by minus thrust angle. Factory manual specifies total toe value at 2 mm by tire diameter scaling, the diameter of 215/45R-17  tire has approximately 1252 mm(excluding centrifugal dynamic deformations while actual use) so the angle value is summed up to 1,830 minutes(angle value). I applied 4 minutes twisting to plus direction  on the trust angle as an attempt, and it was Bingo! Right side run tendency disappeared successfully, but it is too early to be pleased with a premature joy, because some influence by uneven wear(tread conicity) might be remained, further adjustment would be required after some distance running. The narrower of the construction should be, as less as possible.

Also, SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza has serviced on frontal disk brake caliper that is same as BC7 SUBARU Legacy, this is also left untouched as long as 9 years from it's purchase as a new car. Big and heavy caliper must be mounted that is as same as Crown Athlete model of which body weight is heavier 100 kg than that of Altezza, so over brake power capacitance.
I have realized that 23,000 km use with gentle driving manner wears 60 % thickness of frontal brake pad, it is an unusual result for Japanese domestic design. I should wonder that too excessive brake  power dust has been observed from the beginning, the designing concept must be changed into the secure effectiveness of braking is the first rather than long lasting lives.
Persistent using the worn brake pads till they were ruined, not only because they harm to brake disk mirror surfaces but also brake pedal touching feel would be spoiled by muddy response from the brake pedal. This bad feeling is brought by the inclination of too much projected caliper piston from the caliper cylinder, of course an original good pedal response is loosen on the final stage. Consequently, propose I that the brake pads as expendable parts should be replaced if 50 % thickness was used both for the safety and for keeping original good pedal touch and reaction.
Brake fluid reserver tank should not poured additionally to keep to the full indicating line, The amount of reduced brake fluid is the good indication to show how much brake pads were used and thickness of them were lost. No need to be fall in a anxious mental condition in the situation as the necessary fluid had been fulfilled in the brake lines already, if any amount reduction was observed on the reserver tank. In case of any oil pressure line, the fluid in the compressed condition would be lost suddenly not gradually.
The reason why I removed caliper body from the holder is lubrication in the slider guide pin, smoothness in this portion is a key to obtain good brake pedal feel and reaction.

I have set up some Quartz clock movement parts into an antique wall clock removing mechanical gear parts in it, not so difficult task for me. It has a pendulum system to keep good time mechanically, so I want to remain it in the original position for fixing the appearance if it does not swing as it's function.
A beautiful mechanical movement removed from the antique wall clock inhibited me to desert it into a trash, so I put it in one of a member of wall decorations, does look it strange, ugly or flashy and vulgar?

Straight running stability

BC7 SUBARU LSi looses stability while straight running after consuming a half amount of fuel tank 30L, then pouring to full level gauge, the stability suddenly regains. Remember the past, initial Legacy model based on the SUBARU strategy planning called 44B as internal designation lacks the angle of frontal caster leading to less sense of calm of steering action, just it is influenced by dynamic noise from the rough ground surface. The opinion dictated by some engineer might have been to the point who had been a member of the SUBARU Research and Development division. According to his saying, factory decided less caster angular value was the agonizing selection to avoid the reverse steering reaction when fully steering turned. They had sacrificed the most important stability of critical straight running only because of the reason for the seldom not unlikely fully steering turned reverse reaction. Now I have made up my mind to select the physical property of straight running rather than full turn.  
There are two ways to increase caster angle, one is move the transverse ling forward to reposition the knuckle ball joint position to the same direction, and the another is resetting the upper strut mount backward forming some long holes on the strut tower body side. If I select the former way, all the driving train is moved forward leading to positioning DOJ forward forming inconvenient angular inclination in addition to steering linkage also. On the other hand, I choose latter way, just one critical point displacement would be enough, judging from out side, 3 to 5 mm displacing the strut mount position looks relatively an easy task with a round filing procedure. This would be planned as one of a future interesting modification for BC7 Legacy.

Repairings




Shoddy construction of cruel carpenter would be redone by myself utilizing existing clear Polycarbonate corrugated sheets today. Preventing the invasions by small animals such as Mice, Weasel and cats, etc.,
just sealing any small holes would be effective, but ventilatory function would be lost in stead. How about applying there some stainless mesh material? Thanks to agreement with the landlord of my new garage, I can do anything there what I want, on the other hand, my villa in the mountain in vacant state being asked by the neighbor, why I am absent from coming there these days? I feel it the same mental condition as some new lover appearance.

The connecting chain in my Hang Ten bicycle got out on the way from Seven Eleven convenience store, too loose setting was the reason. Careful checking has revealed some uneven wear of frontal tire tread surface with frontal wheel right side inclination. Also it's supporting arm deformation. Remembering about wheel alignment on the car now I'm participating in, even two wheel bicycle should be set in correct alignment condition. And the engineers in bicycle competition field must be making efforts to fulfill the requirements according to their backgrounds and know-hows. So, I determined to set it firmly in addition to the adjustment of chain tension. In another words, we can regard 4 wheel car as a two bicycle combined vehicle moving frontal wheels are connected with tie rod and steering linkage. How about constructing some experimental 4 wheel machine making use of the same two bicycles combination if any further researches are desired on wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry? Probably not a few unknown results should be obtained, I hope if I could do that in future.

Sounds from frontal brake portion obliged me check brake caliper in BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, remembering the past, as long as 8 years they were not maintained leaving untouched since I had replace them from 14 inch brake disks into 15 inch ones. The caliper guide pin on the left side was rust loosing smooth axial movement. It was so lucky that some cleaning and polishing the moving surfaces could recover original performance. I realized again that 2 years periodical maintenance should be done fitting on the time interval for legal inspection by the authorities. Thinking about another keeping cars, Altezza and B-Vectra eager the same servicing. An amateur service mechanic often loose the opportunity to do that on very important checking according to security safety standards. The rate of time passing is too fast and too quick for me, this cannot be a good apology, I know.
