Minolta SLR MD Macro-Rokkor 50/3.5 on Canon EOS

Though my Canon 7D DSLR camera has not been used so much for 10 years, it works whimsically sometimes, under exposure value result with too high shutter speed, today 2 ill-shots per 12. I think it is not used so often, something must be wrong internally, ROM bag or something? But, I don't mind at all, the result is up to Heaven entirely.
This Blue Lily Africanus was recorded utilizing Minolta SLR MD Macro 50/3.5 with fully opened iris.
As we know, Minolta SLR standard flange back is 43.5 mm, on the other hand, Canon EF mount has that of 44.0 mm, resulting infinity focusing is undesirable, 0.5 mm discrepancy causes critical problem if Minolta SLR lens is put on the Canon EOS body if the flange surfaces might be met together precisely.
I have succeeded in utilizing it without any optical additive converter.
If expose I a spacial way to do that here, all the Minolta SLR lens lover must regret to have thrown away it.
The scheme is like that, all the lens have the infinity helicoid position adjusting mechanism and the lack of flange back value could be compensated by adjusting the construction, the lens unit is moved 0.5    mm back word relatively easily, this principle is applied even on zoom lenses, so over 10 Minolta lenses were modified like that with very low price. 43.5 mm flange back value meant no way to modify to adapt on another DSLR bodies at all. This is why old Minolta SLR lenses were prevailing in the market at the lowest prices, but the price has been up recently because of smaller flange back mirror-less DSL body is thrown in to the market.

Golf 7 GTI Steering Sensor calibration


The steering sensor calibration was performed today and the desired stability at center position was obtained at last.
Specific sticky steering feeling at center position had been established on two vehicles, Air-cooled Beetle 1302 with no power assist and TOYOTA Caldina AZT-241W with oil pressurized assisting.
Steering center sticky feeling is accomplished only when Zero-Thrust condition is obtained.
On the other hand, Golf 7 GTI had difficulty to make up the condition, how ever precisely wheel alignment were performed several time, she goes straight but without steering center sticky feeling.
In the middle of last night, some inspiration came into my sixth sense, long period of time was not required to realize "the trick", the signal at steering post, the angular position, is firmly connected with the computer system in combination with another controlling, such as the lain keeping. It means that the signal while straight running should be remembered by the computer with some precision.
I had performed a correction of the Thrust Angle adjustment with 10 minutes discrepancy to plus direction, leading to steering position displacement as 10 minutes, just front tie rod adjustment was not enough, steering shaft angular position should be corrected as before.
This is why the steering sticky feeling at center position could not be acquired, Steering center calibration was indispensable to finish these procedures as a matter of fact.

Start the vehicle and turn the steering 360 degree clockwise and return to the original position then turn it 360 degree counter-clock wisely, keep the steering position at that vehicle goes straight  with the speed below 20 km/h for a short distance, without killing ignition for a while. Remember the car battery voltage exceeds 12 V in the setting scenery.
It goes without description that the desirably stable steering feeling at center position was accomplished after the steering center calibration.

Noisy sky today

Because of an unusual climate pressure distribution, the landing direction must have been changed, the Jet noise just on my home is repeated so often. Situated mine is nearby Osaka International Air Port, such kind of noisy condition happens occasionally.
The wind direction changes fast now, so some pilot must be obliged to land in cross wind difficult landing situation, rudder control and immediate hitting rudder just before grounding in combination with the elevator and the aileron controlling. The skill of the pilot would be revealed at that time, in case of the failure, gears fracture, tire puncture and wing tip hitting would happen, in the worst case, miserable accident might be invited.
Most of the accident happens in case of landing phase, hitting object is the dangerous ground.

Front total toe value

Generally Toe-in setting is indispensable application for vehicles to establish straight running. On the other hand, how it works is not told so precisely to ordinary drivers, too abstract to understand the phenomena well, because there exist various another factors such as Caster, Camber, Scrub and TOOT, etc.. Also, rear Total Toe value affects on the steering reaction in any scenarios.
As for my experimental trials, front total toe value was adjusted from zero value into the point that satisfies TOOT reaction could be acceptable in various speed turning phases. It goes without description that all the front alignment adjustment had been done after the accomplishment of rear wheel alignment, in combination with Total Toe minus 10 minutes and zero Thrust Angle under driver's weight on the seat.
Established Front Toe values for 3 vehicles coincided with that of manufacturer's median datum as a matter of fact. It means that the datum are not the numerical one but are decided after the desperate efforts by the research and develop engineers of the manufactures.
Individual adjustment on wheel alignment and axle construction toughed me much on the way for over 20 years and they contributed on the improvement of my life style.
