Reliability Engineering

As I had been taken care of another new comer pneumatic machinery, the replacement parts are not ordered instead parts number yet. Now new returning tubes parts had been connected in correct position, I have to take care of my lovely 20 years old automobile, BC7 SUBARU Legacy Lsi, tough she complains anything if left untouched with fooling around another one from an another different field. So with the prospect for the new comer, I would devote to her as before.

The affair this time taught me so much about intricate economy of commerce in various field reminding me of the principle in Reliability Engineering of Production, also Chinese ancient story of designing of "Wagon of Korin" that was done to lasts just 100 years and immediately decays and falls down in all the constructive part together exactly in 100 years.

Designing to kill only a part or a few breaks is no longer good, so to speak the machinery should work perfectly with perfect reliability while in it's designed life period and once the after the life has ruined it's construction should be fallen down all together at once, any parts should not be survive after that. This is a good machinery designing from a standing view of Reliability Engineering.

As shown on a picture in previous description the outer plastic lining of oil pressure line is not in favorable condition decaying some parts, inner mesh surface is not destroyed as to oil piling happens. Replacement of oil pressure lines thoroughly is an accepted ordinal way if once returning lines were done already, I will go as they are and the parts replacement would be done when any problem would happen in future? In the worst case, the floor of working place would be covered with scattered pressure oil pond? Consequently, re-assembling procedure of the working chair would be performed this after noon.
Failures of machinery occur one after another because of age, central hot water distribution system in villa does not work inviting the inconvenience of shower while bathing for about 2 years period of time, I do repair soon. Remembering the past, some warning was heard and stopped after that and no more, I'm afraid of the failure in some electric circuitry especially micro chip puncture or anther semiconductors disorder?
