The inconvenience of continuous cooling fan's running in BC7 SUBARU LSi US model is not eliminated at all with several suspicious factors.
Resistor value characteristic displacement of cooling water temperature sensor for ECU or fracture of ECU itself.
 How about applying additional 1k ohm adjustable resister( rheostat) in the circuitry of water thermal sensor?
Because the value of the sensor reveal higher resistor value around 3,5k ohm, the value would be met on the inflection point of the cooling fan cutting off?
Probably, very precise fuel injection amount control must be performed by the signal from the water coolant temperature in Bosch L-Jetro system.
The thermometer in the cluster shows very normal point on earth. The phenomena shows the displacement of the sensor sensitivity toward higher temperature direction, this attempt would be a interesting trial? Putting some fixed resistor would be good solution if the linearity of the physical performance like B type curvature could be obtained, no replacement of the parts is required. The method of parallel and series connection of rheostat for the purpose of current and voltage distribution would be change the linearity in any way?
Suspicious is the performance of ECU itself, because the thermometer in the cluster shows different position after restarting that has been controlled by different thermal sensor, the stylus shows lower and over-cooled position after motor restarting, then it comes to a bit position till cooling fan stats to run at high rotation phase with no tendency of stopping.
This kind of attempt is worth doing, don't you think?

Some clogging especially on water thermal valve that opens at 87 degree including it's characteristic displacement in wax pellet constructive action.
