The most complicated and boring tasks are waiting for me on comming holidays.
The boots of universal joint on steering shaft end must be replaced and the backlashes, two click different noise and vibrations but including hysteresis phenomena, checking carefully on the joints especially on tie rod ends(not replaced last time). In the worst case, the origin of clicking sound were from the steering gear box, not so easy adjustment of worm gear should be required.
In order to proceed to the upper mentioned universal joint, fuel tank must be removed throughly. Now is the most convenient moment because it's empty.
Fixing the steering constructive mechanisms are the most important procedure for restoring an automobile, so I would like to pay the best attentions to it and to take enough time to establish perfectly.
Though photos show left handle model's ones, the difference is only the position with the same constructive mechanisms.
