I just found out the recall information on NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz as followings:
"On 2WD drive shaft, packed grease in outer joint may contain too much humidity, so as the result, the lack of lubrication would occur in full turning steering actions leading to joint destraction in the worst.
TOYOTA maker transaction for that error would be the replacements of the drive shaft parts assembly."
Actually some strange noise is discerned while parking with full steering turning. The quality of the noise is quite different from that of my old experiences, much smaller and quiet. In old story, tone drive shaft boots invited dusts and water resulting lasting on joint balls and collars. Anyway much louder and noisy sound was heard at that time.
As my trial, the outer joint boots would be removed and much harder grease would be applied there instead. Because the nise is small enough to disappear with increasing the viscoelasticity of lubricant, so I guess.
In case of failure on my trial, same procedures are applied on second handed parts having been obtained few years ago at the factory.
Then in case of failure again, second trial would be the same because of the same parts, the production of the same generation, the new parts would be ordered.
The reason why I make a detour for the drive shaft repairing is the principle of DIY is just enjoy the processes and once anything may be carried out and established, I would not stay there longer because no interest there.
The upper procedures are the tasks on NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz today before noon and after that the fuel tank removal on VW 1302 Super Beetle, steering shaft universal joint checking and picking up the cause of clicking noise probably because of backlashes on some portion of the linkage.
