One of my hobby has been correcting special tools for machinery servicing. The Merry company's Barrier Wrench were two of them.
This tool has a outstanding performances where the narrower spaces wrench rotationing is not capable, the targetting bolt center is brought nearer at hand where rotational handle movements are possible. Final procedure, tightening is possible if 1/2 inch model is used.
Basically B-Vectra is not designed for sevicing and maintenace conveniences, probably the most poor performance on the point. This is why most of ordinal service engineers hesitate and avoid this model. It takes time to acces the targetting point or parts, because many a part must be removed having no direct relations.
Most of engineer would remove intake manifold to access engine mount rear part, the reason is uncapability to loosen and retighten the upper 18mm stay bolt. Only one bolt that impossible to access prevents smooth working on earth inviting complicated and troublesome manifold removal.
So the possibility to access the isolated 18mm head of mounting stay bolt is nothing but indispensable gospel.
