Very interesting movie showed by the enthusiastic Opel B-Vectra owner, the representative Opel Yokahama Owner's Club.
As
I mentioned before the trailing arm hinge bush plays a part of shock
absorbing player, actually the movie proved the pivot movement of the
point. This is a new design to gain the comfortability utilizing lower
arm bush's vertical compliance with fulcrum action. He says
the
movement was not only vertical but also horizontal ones, this anterior
and posterior movement may compensate the disadvantage of wheel base
shortening when compressed by roling moment, basically this phenomena is
inevitable because of frontal caster angle and steering axis
