Keeping automobile in the ultimate condition needs keen sense to know it's dynamic performance sufficiently, mechanical construction, electric circuitry and the physical properties of all the parts including deformable rubber insulators and compliance bushes.
As we know a rubber material has the tendency to deform according to time passing, sometime with permanent deformation, hardening and loosing enough compliance, so the decided periodical replacement parts must be replaced if comfort driving feeling is desired.
150,000km used XH200 Opel Vectra has come across to the point to replace many parts for axle and motor.
Shock absorbers for 4 wheels with relative rubber parts, starter motor and alternator are prepared.

Now heavy duties are waiting for me on coming holiday.
To tell the truth, 2 more years are enough for Vectra at the beginning after the legal continuous inspection, but obtaining most unlikely ball joint parts for rear axle had obliged me to change the original plaｎs.

Old part starter motor for Vectra was disassembled and grease upped yesterday that was obtained from the Auto disassembling company in Nara Horyuji the day before yesterday. The commutator had no wear and brushes also enough height like new ones, so I summed up that the magnetic module combined had enough further life left. This part is going to replace with original one while an alternator replacement. Just remembered, Shock driver instrument bought long time ago was not find out, my son must have moved it to his pit.
