Alternator & Starter


BOSCH 120A alternator part as new one was sent to me yesterday. According to common sense the part is processed scrap but well serviced one by professionals in the division, so to speak Re-build New Parts, even ordered to DENSO factory, the parts are boxed and re-build ones. But this time the alternator is packed in familiar BOSCH original yellow paper box and completely new one however hard I may check, with no used evidence, probablly over 70,000 yen, getting it luckily at half price.
Alternator replacement procedure means the best opportunity to access to the stater motor, so the desorption would be done at the same time. On the best checking and paying attention on magnetic switch terminal, some modification must be applied, changing contact timing earlier to compensate the wear on terminal contacting position, prolonging the the life of magnetic module more 50,000km farther.
