The adjustment of tension rate on rib belts are not so easy when some tension adjuster are not prepared independently, in those cases the mounting position of alternator or power steering pump play a part of adjuster.
NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz has not tension adjuster promptly, so the tension rate relies on the sense of mechanical engineer, some times causes slipping noise when it was too loose as my case, newly belts replacement done 1 week ago, makes crazy slipping noise, stronger tension should be applied.
And lost 5mm screw from starter motor yesterday must be found out in the engine room of Vectra.
