BC7 re-acquired original performance
Hand made sealing packing well helped to stop oil leak at connecting points on ABS unit of BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model today, very thin aluminum alloy sheet material was invited from Canned Beer case with 0,3mm thickness and fitting surface was formed manually on the jig and punched out in the size of 9mm and 3mm outer and inner diameter promptly.
Thanks to this kind of modification, all the oil leak were stopped successfully and the tight brake pedal touching was re-acquired safely.
This kind of inconvenience, oil leaking, often occurs when used parts was invited, because the fitting surfaces are so formed to adapt with original other party and after the separation and the different fitting surface would not be accepted each other for being influenced by micrometer revel distortion on the both fitting surfaces.
Aluminum alloy thin sheet sealing material can compensate the lack of adaptation flexibility on the both fitting surfaces.
The bubble removing from brake pipe lines could be performed by myself alone with some recipe based on my own experiences if I do it calmly.
Fully charged lead battery, replaced into regular ATF D-2, Showa Shell Pura fuel and distinctive brake system with confident maintenance, BC7 could gallop through so comfortably as no desiring further purchasing of a new automobile for myself.
