Newcomer MD 35-135

Without learning by experiences in YaHoo Auction won I the bid of Minolta MD Zoom 35-135 the other day, frosted rear lens element on the most posterior part inside made the price like nothing at 111 yen at all. Indicating numbers and letters are translucent and clean, this lens was not used but kept on someone's shelf.  As a matter of fact, my looking-ahead was to the point, just a piece of lens element cleaning could re-acquired original physical performance though too tight and rust stopper ring required some case heating method with a sharp flame alcohol torch. Because 0,30 mm stepped surface was formed from the beginning on flange outer circle, no further infinity lens-back adjustment is necessary, excessive lens back with 0,5 mm would be compensated at half and residual 0,2 mm would be eliminated like nothing by iris closure one or two steps, basically the infinity position would be used by me very unlikely in my shooting situations. So, I would not proceed to a complicated and boring internal adjustment by disassembling to adopt onto Canon Eos mount flange back, 44,00mm from Minolta 43,50mm.
Anyway, this new comer Minolta Zoom Lens 35-135 would get along well with indigenous lenses in my storage box.
