BC7 on the way

As I have decided to return the axle designing of BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model from European sports condition to original far softer US market setting that would be probably the same as BC5 Brighton or VZ domestic model, so I was too busy to write everyday blog here. The difference of compliance setting are observed every where especially in bush designing, for example, an additional metallic tube is applied in rear lateral arm bush in order to reduce compliance for all 8 bushes, replacement of them were performed last night. In addition, trailing arm hinge bush has no cluck with fulfilling with harder rubber material that would be probably #90 in JIS standard, on the other hand original one has clacks diagonally with softer #70 rubber. The compliance  formed here has much to do with the taste of ride, recent torsion beam rear axle for smaller cars have excessive compliance here desiring more comfort ride in exchange of loosing steering action astringency.
Also, special tools were prepared for replacing bushes on an oil press machine, pushers and receivers. According to my experiences, the puley on water pump is useful for receiving the trailing arm bushes and pushing frontal transverse link rear compliance bush, so we should keep the pulley before throw away as a worn EJ motor water pump, of course, the inconvenient convex surface was ground to obtain flat surface for an adequate and firm fitting.
