The carburetor on OS 55 AX motor is so designed to be operated in atmospheric fuel pressure condition with muffler pressure sometimes. And the crevices formed at the lowest speed are formed as upper and lower throat are the same in case of the fuel squeezing construction, air flow and fuel supply follows the Principle of Bernoulli's Law. In case of simple and no fuel narrowing system, the amount of fuel flow is controlled by increasing the upper crevice area by means of additional air way, most of the time small screw is equipped.
On the other hand, in the forced fuel supply condition with crank case primary pressure, the idea is completely different from upper mentioned construction.
Speed controlling air supply from the intake port and the fuel amount adapted to the various rotational conditions should be counted separately.
If I declare at most here, air might be intaken from the throttle valve and the necessary fuel meeting with the load might be completely different portion such as supporting main bearing. This kind of trials were done in the factory few years ago.
In addition, if the drum type throttle is invited, lower crevice should be free opened not to be influenced by the suction pressure. This is the key to success to establish YS Regulator System.
I didn't now about this important technique until I was informed by Mr. Yamada over 30 years ago.
We are in some fearing condition while adjusting main needle valve before taking off all the time, bearing in mind that paying best attention not to close too much imagining the leaner fuel condition in the latter half of maneuver performance scenery, paying the best attention to the slow operation not to stop while spinning pattern, they are all the piling of deceptions at all.
No anxiety exists if YS Regulator system, no lean operation, no motor stop or no unintentional operation happens while the maneuver pattern drawing phase, also no influence occurs by the amount of fuel consumption if the fuel tank is positioned at Center of Gravity point.
This is why I put an emphasis on YS Regulator System.
