There would be difficulties to solve the problems on ignition timing with combinations centrifugal and vacuum advance equipped in '71 VW 1302 Super Beetle. Remembering the purpose to have obtained this fully mechanically controled vehicle is no just to restore old and half decade scrap but to enjoy the processes on the way. So once completed and finished, the restored one is no worthy for me like NCP10 TOYOTA Vitz, a sophisticated wonderful smaller vehicle similar to VW Air-cooled Beetles, size and the concept of designing are the same with the differences of generations.
Before setting new frontal brake shoes on VW 1302 Super Beetle, I found out the reduction of fluid in reserver tank and pilling also at 6 o'clock position of backplate on both sides.
I realized the repairing methods performed a week ago were not effective to stop oil pilling from the wheel cylinders. The affair today made me determine to replace all the wheel cylinders front 's and rear's portions, additionally brake hoses promptly.
Repaired Dyson vacuum cleaner(by DIY) was helpful to do cabin and frontal trunk throughly, the purpose to use strong powered cleaner is not just cleaning but also to get the mold and it's spore out from the cabin, matt and seat mesh are the dens. Then later how much dust were trapped is easily discerned through clear dust catching tank.
Additional charging were performed on Beetle in addition to XH200 B-Vectra, unnecessary earthing wiring were removed that might have been the cause of dark current generation. Also vacuum cleaning was done on B-Vectra with the same purpose.
