Trial experiment putting empty noodle cups made from styrene paper on jank speakers taken from a broken old cassette radio system made remarkable success. Speakers are just put on a table on both side of a DIY low frequency amplifier driven by Western JAN CW349A Pentode for final stage through 6SL7 SRPP with single circuitry design.
The increase in the area of the diaphragm with cone stand shape might have taken effect on the sound resolution.
Trifle modification but piled with this kind of trial experiment is worth doing for me, because it has not been done for half a century.
When I tried everything with no good source, I was happy and surprised when unexpectedly good results were produced.
