Artist Ryouhei Koiso
We went to visit Hyogo Prefectural Museum for the works exhibition by Pierre August Renoir and by another artist in similar generation. We thought the place would not so crowded because of weekday, but not requiring several minutes waiting forming a line. We were not moved by the works by the old European artists but by Japanese works in the exhibition held at the same time on the different floors, yes, Ryouhei Koiso's works especially moved we by the work named "Room". According to the description by the person a Museum employee, that work was the first time to be exhibited, a personal collection by Buyoukai. Relatively big work with 910mm*910mm as it was and rough touch painting, it was divergence and alive with vigorous energy.

War again?
Is there no another way to use resources and energy except War? US is about to get into the Middle East regional conflict in Syria. A most intimate alliance country with US, Israel is preparing for the incident now. Relatively big war there that we have never experienced might happen involving many countries under the world recession these days. Mankind is not so clever mammal as to avoid killing each other however many times we might have experienced the same looking back to our war histories? Some of violent traits might have been built in our Gene? War expenses are only a trifle consumption with no constructive product, just an explosion of TNT, then who would pay for it, we must be obliged to assist US financially again as usual, how come?

Depressing
A pile of old CDs appeared from my moving luggage and their playback of sounds reminds me of also passed good days while remembering the nostalgia, turning over my luggage in this opportunity is also a necessary attitude on earth. Arrangement of luggage would end relatively soon.
An injury I had on the tip of right index finger by accident few days ago is very harmful for my business, a small piece of sharp glass is inside. Thanks to some immediate application into the wound and additional oral administration of Tetracycline antibiotics prevented bacillus from infecting into my finger, but very inconvenient situation remains because the fundamental reason, foreign matter is not removed. It would be very difficult to operate the surgical field because of much bleeding, also I can use only the left side fingers, right side is an unmovable patient, how shall I do? Induration on the tip portion began to occur?

Autumn season
Astringent air was felt early this morning for the first time in the end of Summer season with 21 degree celsius. It would be cooler and cooler to each rainfall and also Typhoons as usual. Autumn season is very across to us and good season would come very soon. It's a good Gospel for my keeping cars those have no air cooling conditioning system(just because of disorder or removed).
Well adjusted and maintained XH200 OPEL B-Vectra performs great physical properties as usual, no complaint occurred in my mind while driving this early in the morning. I dare say here that B-Vectra is a good car of extremely rare balanced design with no portion protruding in particular.
As for air-cooled VW1302 Super Beetle, it goes straight after thrust adjustment the other day, but I feel some inconvenience in rear axle condition, just it is not stable limply. Probably this might be brought by the wear of rear trailing arm hinge rubber mounts on both sides. As I have prepared for replacement rubber parts and another smaller ones especially with inner and outer hub bearings. The Big operation with muscle works would be performed in very near future to replace periodical replacement parts in rear axle construction. Complicated procedure of the rear torsion bar axle spring releasing and trailing arm inner bushes replacement with oil press device are waiting, causing me of some headache.
We come to the conclusion on my son that his way of thinking should be changed into correct way of doing on earth, because our business is not an ordinary one just pursuing only profit purely but contributing to establish the human health, so ours should not be regarded as the way to obtain incomes as much as possible utilizing the way as some arms. First of all we are going to change his residence from country side to OSAKA area changing his circumstances.

Revolution
It rained cats & dogs last night and the distance thunder sounds are discerned this morning and it continues because of an Autumn rain front on Kansai area, but it would be cleared up this evening, relatively heavy rain fall like this might be a symptom to change Summer climate to Fall one, I feel some refreshing air early in the morning these days soon after the Japanese Buddhist memorial service ceremony of "Obon".
Almost of the works on the vehicles I am keeping now has been done, wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry adjustments at a microscopic revel and the confusing and hate works are waiting for me at new garage as a piled goods, just arrangement of huge moving luggage from the mountain villa that is now under destruction.
I'm trying to come up the next concept on my own future hobby life, how about come back to be a Model Airplane Flyer life? I'm keeping several planes since 25 years ago and construction kits also. The radio control system has remarkably improved, there is no risk of waves interferences. It's incredibly dreamy gospel, "No interference?!!", because all the lost planes while my practices were lost and broken just because of the reason not because of my mistakes. Remembering the passed hard memories, the same frequency wave had been transmitted as I had been using at that time, the number of planes exceed a hundred, all of them were pretty ones, I had frustrating thoughts on each miserable occasions. Shall I come back to a opened and wide grassy plains?

B-Vectra has settled
The radiator and condenser cores in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra have been repositioned adequately this afternoon, the former setting position of them was not so good at the time when a former radiators replacement two years ago. I just remembered that not a little efforts were required to replace the punctured one, because so many related parts were obliged to remove thoroughly even bumper core forcement parts, head lights on both side, side marker lump modules, even an air conditioner condenser core, as a matter of fact it took me three days to do that, in case of TOYOTA Starlet, 30 minutes work was enough. This is why OPEL Vectra is often the case of being refused to be serviced among ordinary servicing factories. Time wage does not meet with the actual complexity on this German strange car. But once serviced well, this mischievous car exerts a great performance that is second to none, this is why I am keeping B-Vectra even after an useful life period of time.

XH200 B-Vectra maintenace
The frontal total toe value was inspected on XH200 OPEL B-Vectra resulting exactly Zero with LASER pointer scaling device. Now my B-Vec is in ideal condition at all with Zero Thrust rear wheel alignment. The centricity of myself and the car coincide each other, it's a completely different world that's above words. Now I have done the same adjustments also on 11AD air-cooled VW 1302 Super Beetle, BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model and SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza. The conditions are the same if their drive train might be different each other, F/F, R/R, 4WD and F/R.
Though the way was longer and took me some period of time over 10 years, that is not so much once I come to be able to do that. I could studied much on the way, especially the experiences that could not be obtained until I did by myself, they are the treasures for me, not the result, because it's only a flag to show the destination.
Though I was relieved because I thought I had maintained XH200 OPEL B-Vectra in addition wheel alignment and geometric axle constructive adjusting are almost perfect, I found out some critical defect on the radiator mounting condition, downed and displaced. Over 10kg mass on the frontal overhung should affect on the steering response and transition if it was not fixed in a adequate way as designed. Probably, radiator mounting rubber bushes must have been destroyed and lost, judging from the displaced it's position. Any countermeasure way must be considered ASAP. I'll do that tomorrow afternoon.

Ball joint boots replaced
Tie rod ball joint boots in frontal axle of XH200 B-Vectra were replaced this morning in the condition of 37 degree celsius temperature. As the locking nuts of the joints were distorted intentionally to have some slipping resister, special tool, air impact device and a rare size socket 18mm. Without impacting action just with hand tool, loosening procedure might be possible if the knuckle and joint parts are fixed well, tightening procedure requires hitting action tool because slipping resistor is too strong to prevent the rotating action in the ball joint case, however hard we might try with hand tool, ball joint part rotates together with locking nut. A plastic color was found inside of the joint boot on both sides, but I don't understand that how this part plays actually, so I removed it and applied Chrome Molybdenum grease fulfilling inside. Metallic wire circle clip was set on the small end of the boots that causes unnecessary twisting distortion when steering was turned. As a personal opinion, the cir-clip on the small end of the boots is not the parts to be set there, because the small end and joint part should be slipped well when necessary, otherwise the rubber boots is twisted inconveniently leading to the fracture like this time. Exactly the same thing is said on the rear lateral arm outer end ball joint parts for both upper arm and lower one. The moving parts which require rotating movement should be slipped well without any stress like twisting phenomena. Ball joint parts are very important to keep the accurate smooth action and have some character to be worn very easily if any harmful muddy dust might invade in them.

Demolition work
Replacement of tie rod end joint boots and knuckle joint boots in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra would be performed tomorrow in my new garage. Now, may 3 parking places are fully occupied because the place in my villa should be kept vacant. The demolition work in the mountain started yesterday and the long lasted villa would be removed into a vacant lot. Consequently, Vectra this morning is in a toll parking place near by. Telling the truth, breaking our old house down is not always a matter for urgent necessity, but some person, Xanthippe insisted to eliminate the place for storage facility, just a cleaning the garbage rooms is the reason. I make it a rule not to go against with the specter living together with me now. Live in peace is the first.

Steering universal joint
I have just remembered that I didn't lubricate on the universal joints at the connective portion between steering post and gear box in-put shaft, the dust cover boots on the both ends had been lost already when I inspected them over two years ago and the replacement stock parts has rusted in the joint needle bearing. So, careful checking would be performed tomorrow morning and Chrome-Molybdenum grease splay would be done praying that no damage would not be found there? In the worst case, unburdening fuel tank task would be required if a replacement task of the universal joint part is required because of too much backlash in the connections.

Lubrication on clutch pedal arm of VW1302
Lubrication on the connective portion of clutch pedal arm and clutch wire end were performed before long. Central tunnel cover on the left side is removed and disassembling of accelerating throttle linkage is removed in ordinary way as usual, but some deeper consideration led me to an easier way, body and chassis connective 15mm head 2 bolts of posterior one both of exist at the highest position was removed by convenience for splay grease nozzle insertion and did I it with successful result. The transition of clutch pressure plate diaphragm spring is clearly felt on the clutch pedal leading to easier clutch meeting action. The desire to lubricate on the surfaces of release bearing and diaphragm spring slipping portion. Let's consider about the easier way than unburdening the motor.
VW1302 thrust adjusted
The thrust discrepancy on VW1302 Super Beetle was corrected on last Saturday evening with good result. There was some difficulty in the portion of connective area between rear torsion arm and trailing hub case parts because of the change of lever ratio causes some change of vertical height. But supporting the weight on the most rear end of torsion arm could made the phenomena minimum and the purpose could be achieved enough. As a natural resultant phenomena, the steering wheel centric position had been changed that had been positioned compensating thrust angle. Of course this frontal axle displacement should be reckoned when the adjusting values were calculated on the way, very small amount of but it causes error as a result. Remember here that the ill thrust angle value is transferred as the rudder(Yaw direction) amount expectation, the angles of them should be the same if the vehicle goes straight on the way.

Discrepancy in VW1302
Newly constructed measuring device for horizontal wheel inclination revealed some ugly discrepancy in the rear total direction, thrust in air cooled VW 1302 Super Beetle this morning. Too much value of the scaled datum might mean a hysteresis in rear trailing arm hinge bushes especially outer ones on both side? Careful inspection must be done, because over 40 years old rubber bushes there must have been deformed and hardened loosing original physical property.

SXE10 Altezza & XH200 Vectra
I spend interesting daytime with my grand sons, before noon to Cup noodle painting at Ikeda Nissin Memorial Place and after noon to Rokko mountain driving coming down to Kobe Center Street for shopping. Thanks to the wheel alignment adjusting to Zero Thrust condition, 9 hours driving did not invite any driving fatigue at all. The effect of my effort the other day is great. They would stay longer in my home, but my business work starts tomorrow.
The failure on tie rod end ball joint boots was found and there must be the same on knuckle ball joint boots also, so all the ball joint boots would be inspected on XH200 OPEL B-Vectra soon, including rear lateral arm outer ball joint boots. By the way, the knuckle ball joint parts is not fixed on the transverse link but riveted on 3 positions promptly, so, in case of replacement of the parts, some complicated procedure would be required for removing the rivets by grinding or by burning through with torch. As a conclusion, a best care must be taken not to run short lubricant in the ball joint avoiding rust leading to the fatal of the part.

Uneven tire wear
Tire wear has much to do with the establishment of wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry, no one would deny this opinion. The change of driving habit is often observed after the tire wheel rotation procedure, this phenomena shows the wear of tire treads have not been worn evenly. Of course it is caused by several reasons, the way of driving, burdened weight,etc.. Every tire tread wears in some specific physiologic circumstance including wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry promptly. So, the adjustment should be performed at the time of tire replacement into new ones, if desired, suspension bushes replacement.
Judging from my experiences in this field, at least 100 km distance running is necessary to forget and eliminate uneven wear of tread surfaces that had been followed. It's impossible to establish the alignment at only single attempt because of upper reasons, several times of adjusting performance would be required to minimize the assembly discrepancy on the factory producing line.
The physical condition is the same that even a mass production passenger's car has 4 wheels as an expensive luxury car, so, precise adjustment on the alignment would acquire the ultimate performance that would be done on latter one prior to the rolling out. As a conclusion today, my opinion like this is not out of the point at all.
We do not have any measurement equipment that are set in the production laboratory of factory in research and developing division, of course they must be expensive, exaggerated, professional authentic. And the ordinary car users do not know how to know the phenomenon, what kind of device and equipment are required to know the actual condition as a numerical datum, where to measure and what kind of pitfalls and uncertainties exist on the way, but still insist I do it by myself.

B-Vectra in "Zero Thrust"
Probably about plus 5 seconds discrepancy of thrust angle in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra was adjusted by moving trailing arm hinge position utilizing newly constructed special device yesterday in the busy interval of the moving. Of course the stability has been much improved though I had been in the contentment before that. Then what will happen if "Zero Thrust" condition might be established? I know that the fact of self center seeking capability so designed is caster angle, including it the Steering Axis Inclination in addition plus scrub setting, but above that, "Zero Thrust" is worthy for achievement. I have realized the resulting facts again and again after adjusting the rear total toe directive vector to the Zero point. Remember here that the adjusting procedures are performed under the condition of moving squishy, it's just like shaping a octopus form into that of a squid. Accomplishing the accuracy of 10/1000 mm is a very difficult task and needs some experience and tips, in the complicated environment with uncontrollable atmosphere.
It took me over 10 years period of time with doing hard. This is the desire from my younger age, so the sense of accomplishment of this work is greater for me.

Fighting of attrition
The arrangement of things in my garage makes no headway under the condition of 40 degree celsius inside air temperature. I loose consciousness and light-headedness at all. Twice of round trip with 40 km distance are the limitation on B-Vectra that has no air-cooling conditioning system, no car around me goes with window sealed opened except mine. Exhaustion is significant on earth if I drive in the middle of the day. I take a big cup of cold water very often. Mounting of shelves on the walls for arrangements would be postponed till tomorrow.

Satisfaction
2 hours highway driving today proved that the wheel alignment adjustment performed on SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza was to the point, if the adjusted thrust angle was only 4 second angle value(not minutes but 1/60, second). So the permissible tolerance +- 10 minutes stipulated in The European Traffic Standard is a story of a different dimension and vector direction. The owner of this Altezza said drop by drop to complain about the driving steering stability at the beginning a few years ago, but now no indefinite complaint about the previous inconvenient was discerned after the wheel alignment and axle constructive geometry adjustment.
As a conclusion today, the establishment of requirements mentioned above with the best accuracy are indispensable conditions at all for any ordinary drivers. The erection tolerance in axle construction should be minimized utmost, no making light and sloppy are not allowed even in the mass production lines.

SXE10 Altezza thrust adjusted
Minus 4,187 seconds thrust angle value was correct utilizing newly modified device mentioned before. It goes without writing that far better steering stability has obtained, no adjusting while straight running because the steering centric position is not affected by outer physically disturbing noise from the uneven ground surfaces. But in "Zero Thrust" condition, only some reactive force is felt on the steering grip but no tendency is shown on the vehicle itself to go different direction like wandering according to the rough ground inclination, so just holding the steering at the original position tight while rebellion, just holding with no circular movement is enough to keep the straight running like nothing happened. In another words, there is no need to take desperate care unconsciously to count on the yawing movement. The nearer to the "Zero Thrust" the adjustment comes, the tendency to stick on the centric steering position, it becomes harder, heavier and sticky at that position. This feeling could not be understood until I try to experience actually, just above words like a completely different world, then what had I been looking back my own unreasonable experiences?
Measuring device
Special device has completed for measuring horizontal inclination in a vehicle wheel alignment. Mini Tripod for camera shooting was utilized for setting base construction and a conventional level equipped with LASER pointer. Though wood blocks and adjusting thin wood plate had been used for adjusting the device position as long as these 10 years, this modification with free locking system would save time because of complexity to set it precisely. Now, I can access easily into measuring and into adjusting on horizontal inclination(Toe value) without any hesitations whenever I want.

Secondary Nuclear attack
The secondary attack by US Military Force was performed today 68 years ago upon Kyusyu Nagasaki by means of Plutonium Atomic Bomb "Fat man". These kind of Nuclear Weapons were not so to speak Damnation by God nor the best way to finish the Pacific Front War, but it was nothing but a mass Human killing & destruction experimentation by the horrible weapons arranged by US Military Force. There had not been any necessity to utilize any Nuclear Weapons to make Japanese surrender if the military balance at that time if it had been considered at the end stage of the Pacific War. So, the fact has been proved that the strategy was nothing but experimental trials for weapons of mass destruction actually upon living human beings, however hard they might qualify their past with rhetoric eagerly. Remember that we had been defeated unnecessarily completely 68 years ago, though we have been obeying them since that time throwing away our pride. When will it be, our pure independence?

The hottest 2 weeks
Though the Autumn season is come already on the calender, we will have to endure these hottest climate conditions for as long as more two weeks. Automatically, I will choose the way of air-conditioned train for my commuting only for the interval, because my 3 cars do not have effective cooling systems just out of order. Only the short period of 2 weeks through the year needs I want to have some automobile air conditioning system. Also I don't like to put myself in artificially cooled atmosphere, I pretend that I am not aware the disorders of car air conditioning.
As the system consisted with a compressor, a condenser, heavy plumbing hoses and evaporator occupies 20kg in the bonnet, removing all of the system would attain more agile steering reaction?

Conditioning
According to the calender, it is the beginning day of Autumn today, but still hotter enough. All of my keeping cars has not enough air conditioning system, 11AD VW 1302 Super Beetle had been operated to unburden it's heavier component thoroughly because of weight balance and of obtaining good servicing access, BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model has not enough amount of cooler gas 12a and also XH200 OPEL B-Vectra has a problem in compressor construction. Though none of cooling system does not work well promptly, I do not pay attentions so much on equipment for comforts, actually it very inconvenient when used in the day time on this Summer season, my moving time is early in the morning and after Sunset everyday. In addition, I don't like to be lost the motor power for air conditioner compressor operation.
Our 270,000 ton Aircraft Carrier had been launched in Yokohama shipyard yesterday named "Izumo". Now we must have much more similar warships just as Deterrence to prevent unreasonable invasions by neighbor Nations. The desires for an aquatic and underground resources might make cook them up some unreasonable stories. They can do anything without dignity if there would be some profit in future. Anyway, we should prepare for future emergency situations caused by neighboring countries. Indivisible territory is one of an indispensable element for an Independent Nation.

Far from Independence
My moving action from my mountain villa to new garage comes to an end soon. Fatigue for that prevented me from writing everyday blog. It takes time to organize many things than moving.
Today 68 years ago, we were attacked by US Military Force by means of Nuclear Weapons(twice, in Hiroshima and in Nagasaki). Now the memorial ceremony is undergoing in Hirashima. The occupation phenomena by US is still now lasting in rhetoric of US-Japan alliance. War itself means killing each other lawfully between Nations and it would be the same for the killed person if the reason should be a rifle bullet or burned by an Atomic Bomb? A Bomber plane B-29 "Enola Gay" pilot could kill 200,000 of human being in a moment if there had been a good apology reason? How long does this strange relations between Japan & US last from now? Japan even now is not a pure Independent Nation.

Balancer
This morning NHK News program broadcasted about the rear-end collision traffic accident on Meishin Highway around Nagahama, probably it must be caused by falling asleep at the wheel leading to fatal. I must declare here that "Zero Thrust" adjusted vehicle has some tendency to fall asleep apparently compared with ordinary ones. The reason is that less concentration is required while straight running, so too much relaxed condition causes drowsiness. Anyway, Thrust adjustment has both merits and demerits.
Old balance scales has found in my junk box probably a production of half a century ago. We do not come across these days in the market. I'll make use of this as an antique exhibit.

Moving
A movement of luggage from my villa to new garage with 20km distance would be done also today in the inconvenient climate condition, highest humidity and higher temperature, stuffy and hot condition would deplete my energy power soon. Anyway, it must be done once it had been decided already. Radio control model air planes and camera parts are remaining now, more twice or three times of round trip with XH200 OPEL B-Vectra would be required to withdraw from my villa.
