On Boad Diagnosis 2 (OBD-2) system is incorporated internationally in every automobile recently. Though '97 Opel Vectra has an OBD2 coupler at center console portion, Simtec 56,5 computer system does not work with an ordinal OBD2 reading device.

KWP2000 protocol is available with ELM-Scan interface, so appeared in some WEB site. With a small and tiny possibilty I tried to connect my scan-tool including KWP2000 protocol. But in vain, Link Error showed in the device. This one is unable with same Link Error on 2002 TOYOTA Alteza nor 2001 TOYOTA Vitz.

Harmful damages were found on rear door striker portions on both side of Vectra, clucking with lusting. How came? Stresses with door open and close or viblation while running?

Precise measurements on setback and wheel base of BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi proved the accuracy of previous wheel alignment adjustment. Difference on setbacks on both side was not recognized and wheel bases differed 800 micrometer, left side longer. The datum obtained the day before yesterday cleared my suspicions on wheel alignments and ascertained my self-confidence on the works. Obtaining repeatable datum is very difficult task even for professionals, because the circumstances must be establishe firmly and accurately.
