Air-cooled VW Super Beetle is sleeping
It is said in Osaka that the hottest season in the Summer time are one week before and after "Tenjin Ceremony". As I make it a rule not to use my vehicle in the period of time, I stay at home as a matter of fact. Also I do not accept driving my car under air conditioned, the compressor reduces motor power and also reduces exhirelation of motor combustion. This is why the air conditioning system in Air-cooled VW Super Beetle had been thoroughly removed. Consequently, she withdraws to the deeper position while this period of time and she is maintained with periodical servicing treatment.
Heavy steering rotating torque must be invited by too much negative camber applied before, minus 30 minutes angle value. Applying a half value, minus 15 min would be the next task. Camber and Toe-in should be adjusted together at the same time also steering center position. Before that, Thrust angle should be establish as less as possible, as near as Zero angle value. As all the adjusting procedure are performed under 1G condition, so tightened condition between ground surface and tire touching surface must be opened and released in every adjusting step leading to setting and removing the scaling device. Very complicated and patience-requiring task as it is, what should be done should be done if precise wheel alignment adjusting and establishing are desired. The result would be obtained as it was done, contrally it would be the same as before if not performed.
