A new idea on an old lens

Modified Konica Hexanon 48mm/2.0 on SONY E-mount was completed with setting helicoid stopper adequately, the lens element had been equipped on Konica EE matic Range Finder 60 years old camera. Though rotating helicoid would not be extended till falling down, setting some mechanical stopper applies safety feeling in actual use. Trifles as it is, piled trifles are not trifle but worth doing.

I found out a grouped lens element, not a minute was required to remember how it comes here, yes, it is the rear group of Minolta Tele- Rokkor 135mm/2.8 and front group was lost because of mold invasion. As we know, rear group of these kind of lens construction is so designed to eliminate several aberration, so residual lens element does not play any part of performance. This is why this miserable lens  part has been deserted here in my junk box.
A curiosity comes out in my mind that what will happen if this lens is set on E-mount?  Then, I did it actually before pondering.
Nothing but poor and inferior pics could be obtained as a matter of fact, utilizing only an aberration correcting lens construction part with opposite direction, the result was reasonable at all.
All the engineer in designing lens construction seek and try to construct better one all the time, the better, the better.
From a completely different side point of view, this widow lens shows some different way of expression, not poor or inferior but just different, so I regard this! I feel some Fantagista in this marvelous jewelry. I would like to apply this new weapon on Table Photo field from now, let's see what'll happen.
