A rear piece of three group in Minolta Rokkor-PF 45mm/1.8 was replaced into more clear one, it has been invaded by clogged Mold breeding leading to a spoiled image through some gauze. Closed Kindergarten

However hard I may strain my ears, no cheerful voice is discerned by small children, the Kindergarten is closed by the bad event is the reason. No pedestrian is on the road near by my residence at all.

Wandering today

Food markets are already crowded from early in the morning with filled parking spaces. Public garden parks are occupied by small children and their parents. Public park is not a place to go rather avoiding places, so recognized in the announce.

No people outside in Osaka

Taking a walk on Nakanoshima Osaka from Kitahama to Dojima 2 days ago, I shot several pics in B&W. Very few visitors were there as usual following to the declaration by the Authority. Stores and shops were all closed along to West Umeda, actually dead a city is in Osaka.

Wrangler Rubicon axle and wheel alignment adjustment

Favorable today

Adjusting the Thrust Angle on Wrangler Rubicon was successfully performed yesterday. The procedure required some muscle work, it's very unlike for a geriatric like myself, removing big and heavy tire alone and adjusting arm length pushing vehicle frontally and backward, unusual heavy task was done by me. Getting up this morning, I feel some stiffness on my shoulder and hip muscles  as a matter of fact.
Is it better for me to avoid this kind of heavy work because old person's healthy condition would be destroyed and difficult to acquire original condition?
On the other hand, according to Japanese Welfare White Paper, it's better to exert oneself to the utmost at least once a month because some destruction of body cell and recovery of them again is the natural phenomena to keep a human body healthy condition, I would rather to take latter opinion by the Authority. So, periodical muscle work like yesterday might be a necessary requirement for me?
Two similar vehicles are inhabiting in my garage, both of them needs periodical maintenance, liquid material replacement tasks, motor oil including it's filter, brake fluid Dot#4, Dis brake caliper guide pin grease-up and LLC. VW Air-cooled Super Beetle also requires Dot#3 replacement. Anyway, Instrument, devices and equipment never release me free. To tell the truth, this surrounding condition might be good for me.

Also, finger fine work with ultimate precision like lens modification and maintenance is an indispensable hobby work for me to keep myself normal conditioned.
Konica Hexanon 45mm/1.6 lens, production of over 50 years ago was successfully transplanted this morning, onto SONY E-mount. All the functions are alive condition, straight helicoid, iris ling and barrel appearance, as it's shutter mechanism are all removed, shutter ring is just a decoration. Childishly funny decorations on the fuselage and hood are purposed not to invite unnecessary mental strain of the objective person, yes, toy-like device never attracts wariness.

My daily lives is not affected by the recent affair, it's convenient for me to go relaxed traffic both train and automobile. My business in medical field permits regally free movement.

Hexanon 45mm/1.6 Superb standard lens

Probably my last work, Hexanon 45mm/1.6 lens is now undergoing for transplantation. The donor is Konica S-1.6 old range finder film camera produced over 50 years ago, and the Digital format camera is Sony Alpha 7Ⅲ full size flame with E-mount.
Disassembling and removing lens unit procedure had been done with desperate concentration and doing on lens unit to clean lens glass and iris blades in addition to removing out all the mechanical shutter unit with slow governor and slow timer leading to 60 gr weight reduction.
Physical positioning of helicoid construction makes it possible to reproduce all the barrel alive on Sony E-mount this time. The weight including new bayonet would come to be about 200 gr in total, helicoid outer lace, guiding outer ring, iris ring and shutter speed ring and front decorating ring are all made of brass material as a matter of fact.
Hexanon 45mm/1.6 on Sony E-mount would be regarded as if it was easily removed and just put on the mount without any difficulty. No complicated scaling and calculation were not required? No precise processing by technique is necessary?
Anyway, straight helicoid system and full barrel reproductions would be attained this time.
I'm looking forward to shooting photos with this lens, trial fitting test has revealed fine performance already, to tell the truth.
5 group 7 element lens construction will exert a great performance with superb transparencies!

Wrangler Rubicon Thrust adjustment

Too consistent nagging complaining about the stability while straight running on Wrangler Rubicon obliged my heavy hip to move the action, it is simply called "Parent Baka Chanrin".
He must seek the way to solve the problem like this as I had been making efforts in this field.
The standard value of wheel base for 2-door Rubicon is 2458.72mm, 2456.0 for the right and 2457.0 were obtained promptly for actual scaling, so right side wheel base was extended as to the same value on the left side. Calculation shows 2.3 minutes angle value discrepancy, it is within the tolerance at all according to the European Traffic Safety Standard, but he complains, so I feel worse.
Consequently, upper and lower trailing arm hinge bush holding bolt and nut loosening method was invited. No blacked long hole adjustment was required, just moving the inner lace of bushes was enough to adjust this time.
Unpleasant handling as my son declared, ugly wandering with bad taste, relatively shorter wheel base and wide tread  enhances the tendency at all.

Osaka Namba area yesterday

Because Yodobashi-Umeda is closed, I went to Namba-Bic-Camera yesterday, the necessary parts for Transplantation was the reason.
As the last current operation, Konica S1.6 has been obtained as the donor onto SONY E-mount.
Following the serious and obedient national character of Japanese people, very few pedestrian and least mobile traffic were observed also in Namba area yesterday.
One of a famous Comedy Studio was also closed and following the cooking instrument shop was done the same.
On the way to Nippon-bashi through Kuromon Market, all of the shops were closed and the Metro station underground, Namba-Walk was all closed with no pedestrian, exactly Ghost Town was there.

Queer vehicle inhabits in my garage!

Who ordered this strange vehicle for Japanese use, crazy distorted man, yes my son did it!
First of all, it is very difficult to find out unpaved road even in the deep of the mountain, so what is the intention to use this kind of unreasonable vehicle?
What he said to me immediately after coming back from delivered dealer, "This car does not go straight, so your turn, do that as usual, please."
Ladder flamed, trailing and leading arm suspension construction, rigid axle and 4 wheel drive are the sign to adjust and make it go straight, it goes without writing here as a common sense, it nothing but Madness.

Tele-Elmar 135mm/4 testing

Because the lens maintenance on Leitz M-Tele-Elmar 135mm/4 has completed and the weather condition is favorable after rain fall, I determined to get out for shooting photos to Inagawa-cho at Sasaokasuga Shrine.
The performance and potential of Tele-Elmar were well proved on Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor image sensor. The taste of Leitz superb technology was not lost even 40 years later. I do not find any difference between the Silver-Salt film and the Electric Image Sensor at all. As an ordinary standard lens, I brought Hexanon 45mm/1.8 together with her. Color resolution of them are almost the same, the construction of the lens design is 4 group with 6 element, enough capability it has if compared with Tele-Elmar.

Leitz M-Tele-Elmar 135mm/4 on SONY Alpha7

Long deserted Leitz lens was maintained, cleaned and adjusted at infinity position on SONY E-mount. Different lens case construction brought me some consideration before disassembling from ordinary Leitz lenses. An anxiety that the cloudy might be happened in the thin space of Balsam adhering was in my mind, but it was in vain. Secondary group of the component has a few balsam adhering surfaces in Ernostar type constructive design. Once I have experienced the regrettable memory when I did it on M-Summilux 50mm/1.4, L39 latest model in heavy brass barrel with special quick focusing helicoid. The rear group with Balsam glue was cloudy.
Anyway this time was successful to clean all the lens component.
In order to remove all the dust, mold and rust on Iris surfaces, every part was fully disassembled this time.
Brilliant, shinny and glossy resolutions are out of the target for M-Tele-Elmar 135mm/4, but some stable calm astringency is the character of this one, now it's impossible to desire for this performance in recent productions. Because the original helicoid lacked smoothness, transplantation was performed, the doner was Minolta Tele-Rokkor 135mm/2.8. Iris controlling is invited from Tele-Elmar for the sake of round shape produced by 8 iris blades.
Recent lens makers have tendency to produce large glass, big and heavy ones, I don't find out any reasonable apologize to do that except some commercial purposes. Recent photographers has enough capability to make use of them with muscle training? Including female professionals?
I'm going to make use of this Tele-Elmar much more often from now, Anti-Camera shake function of SONY Alpha 7-Ⅲ is an indispensable Gospel especially for an use of long focus Tele-lens.
Basically, I don't believe in this sophisticated function, Tripod invitation is far reliable than another prevarications.

Southern Osaka today

Because weather forecast tells it'll rain tomorrow, I went out for a walk to Southern Osaka today. Ebisucho to Tsutenkaku and Imamiya-Ebisu to Namba was the root this afternoon.
