TOYOTA 2NZ-FE motor


Newly developped TOYOTA 2NZ-FE motor on NCP10 Vitz has remarkable improvements, first of all the continuous intake valve timing control system VVTi, all alminum cylinder block, 12mm offset crank shaft design and far improved automatic trans-axle Super Intelligent E-4AT with lock-up system on adequate situations in any gear positions.
But in such kind of circumstances, the motor makes detonation like knocking noise at districted condition.
The replacement of rib belts for power steering pump and alternator would make the reason clear tomorrow if it is caused by some motor design for anti-pollution emission control or just by tracking errors between pulleys.
