Autumn Leaf and tripods

 A gas stove is prepared for the Cold wave coming next week. As I make it a rule to use ancient Tube low frequency amplifier, JAN CW-349A is utilized as power tube with SL7 SRPP single stereo construction, it is helpful to warm my room not a little. Summer season has some difficulty in stead. Ten pieces of Autumn Leaf works are required for the next photo lesson, I have picked up them from the work of last year, no Autumn Leaf this year. As I have a planning for shooting it at Kyoto around Keage region, I'll have some harvest at that time. Though the place was focused on Minoh Katsuo-Temple, it was changed into Kyoto by someone's whim. It will take at least one and a half hour to get there. 

But for such kind of obligation, I'll never make any action, so I should go with them without complaining. In case of shooting Autumn Leaf scenery, wider angle lens might be suitable below 50 mm standard one. Choosing lenses step for shooting is one of my fun, the lighter the better and the nearer to a  standard focal lens the more opportunity i bring with, as litten in the Leica Hand book. 

Two different type of tripod arrived at hand before long, both of are from Yahoo Auction obtained at around 1.000 yen. Though produced tens years ago, as a matter for surprise, NOS conditions, no mark to be used was observed at all. Once they were bought for camera shake prevention, they had very few opportunity to be brought out with the former owner, troublesome handling is the reason. 

Both of them were manufactured by SLIK, a famous maker of machine gun mounting seat for our Self Defence Military Force. Physical performance is well measured and stout construction. In addition, both panhead have old type quick release construction, a small round pole piece but is tightened well enough. I'm looking forward to try them in the actual shooting situation with good performance. The sophisticated anti-camera shake system is installed in the body construction, so effective enough to satisfy almost of requirement, but pixel peeping on LCD shows apparent difference however trifle mechanical tripod might has been invited.

Even now the mechanical tripod is the second to none.
