Trouble


The cause of strange phenomena was found out when the motors were replaced from OPS to OS, one of 4 mounting insulator was destroyed and the motor mount was supported by 3 points instead of 4 ones. Strange noise was discerned occasionally and the reaction  by the elevator action had strange habit.
Wooden propeller that has some crack in radial direction causes very strange and destructive noise, just unendurable noise, it was the first experience in 55 years life in this field, anyway, even now, I have new findings whenever I come to the flying place, arrived at 6 early in the morning and finished around 9.
Tomorrow I would do the same, as long as my energy continues.

OPS 60 motor would be continued on some different opportunity and the motor was changed into OS MAX 60 FSR, ring version not ABC.

YS 45 FR motor had some rust in crank shaft supporting main bearing, 4 days leaving untouched caused this critical phenomena, probably because of mismatching of Tuned Pipe setting. I'll check this tomorrow. Getting accustomed to the condition of Tuned Pipe, some extension and prolonging the distance is required on the way of use, this is one of a common sense in this field.

Preparation for participating the meeting at the end of this month at Hyogo Pref., my training for drawing maneuver pattern is almost finished, PILOT Ace B would be applied for the purpose on the day, OS 32 motor operates very well pulling enough to the vertical direction.
