Today we decided to construct our new laboratory with the designing based on my son's planning thoroughly, no room to insert my opinion a little.
Too many captains in a boat it goes up to the mountain, as proverb says, things never make a step forward, determined I being refrain from saying any opinions on this constructive planning.
His drawing has made progress day by day, recommending him to be a great designer.
As for me, any designing will do if the working place was prepared there within the limited date, the end of the February next year.
He must have satisfactions to see the constructor here introduced by me. The further negotiations would be done with him directly.
Anyway the meeting today was so worthy for all of us, spearing time as long as 3 hours.
Today, things have a boundary significantly advance.

VW 1302 steering gear box
The information about the steering gear box on Air-Cooled VW 1302 Super Beetle revealed that the replacement parts for right side steering model are not produced by any suppliers all over the world. It means that the life of right steering 1302 Beetle is decided only by that of Worm gear in the steering box on earth!Finding out a very seldom auction in YaHoo, I've got it at relatively high originally served price 5,000 yen, though the gear box had been equipped in 1303 early model, for later one had Rack & Pinion designing.
Experienced seller was so conscientious according to my several experiences, the price on the steering box this time may not so great, because I have never come across with this specific old parts even in e-bay.
Any way I will disassemble the gear box few days later at the latest on coming Thursday, I'm looking forward to doing that.
Recognition on Auto lead battery
I must change the recognition of automobile led battery, replacing batteries on BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model into into fully charged D type from 6 years old Europe standard one with the sign of enough specific gravity of electrolyte inside.
20mm lower height and with the same size terminal diameter and taper angle on plus and minus promptly, interchangeable if lack the height is compensated by some adapter.
Though I have a recognition that the automobile battery should rotate the ring gear outside of flywheel and give some spark at initial stage of motor starting phase. Then once the motor was started, all the electricity necessary for activating the car should be supplied from the alternator rotated by the motor power, so the physical performance of the lead battery has no direct effect on that of the car itself. The performance of the alternator has the dictator of an electric supply, if once the motor started.
But this perception was completely changed by the eye opening improvement in every performance of BC7 Legacy after the replacement of the batteries
Even on this D type battery, once deserted after 3 year use by my son with fully discharging condition, and I repaired it with special charging method, Trickle charging act, small current with relatively high voltage and pulsing circuitry.
Conclude I that the absolute reduction in capacity in automobile led battery does harm on every performance of the performance of the motor.
BOSCH 120A alternator is limited at 13,5V with only 2 terminals plus B and for charge lamp, DENSO 70A one in BC7 Legacy has the limited at 14,5V, I think this difference of 1V has much to do with the life of the Automobile Lead Battery, especially the car was used in relatively slow traffic speed conditions.

Ceramic heater
Deserted ceramic heater was repaired with connecting power supply wiring and the air was cleaned , no thermal fuse was destructed and heater was alive.Equipped AC motor is called as skeleton motor with the advantage of cheap, simple and small.
Two phases are created by two turning stout copper wiring around the outer pole, especially because of making shadow phase, this type of motor is called as "Kumatori Motor" in Japan.
"Kumatori" is the very special way of make up of the face in Japanese traditional stage arts "Kabuki", zebra pattern of shadow making way. This kid of pole induction motor is mainly used for family fan, the difficulty to control speed is cleared by recent sophisticated circuitry designing methods utilizing an inverter.
Supporting main plane bronze bush bearing of the motor was lubricated with extreme pressure additive containing grease, Microflon. Also rotary switch was lubricated on mechanical cam motion portions. The heavier movement of the rotary switch has repaired. Now no overview and mechanical problems is observed on this small but effective ceramic fan heater.
This additional heating system will play a great part of working place in my garage this winter.

Stock prices move away to 1/5 in Japan and the almost of investors has lost for these 20 years, present state of deflation may draw this condition for the time being. Economic upturn should be desired.
In a prior estimation, 40% of increase in number would be desired after the renewal of our laboratory.
Remember here, not only the working place construction but also the energy and the stamina of the practitioner must be fed on earth.
The organization and conducting a sort of current working place must be started sooner or later.

Autumn leaves
Perceiving the transition of the seasons from Fall to Winter, drove I VW 1302 Super Beetle from Miyama to Nantamba Wachi inter change. Now is the best opportunity to enjoy beautiful Autumn Red Leaves. Finding out some unusual photo subjects in the artificial lakes. The color contrast was better in drizzle.Thank to the replacement of steering dumper part, the fatigue after 6 hours driving is a little.
The tendency to invite sleepiness while driving on the highway is not a little as usual being a fate for the automobile in almost perfect wheel alignment. As the car goes straight without adjustment of steering wheel and with no wondering keeps in centric line in spite of road inclination, the efforts to keep a car in stable condition is not required, less concentration invites sleepiness on earth, dangerous somewhat?
Try to take care for the driving sleeping with the eyes opened!
Brake maintenance
The most important matter to continue driving an automobile occurred in my mind, the maintenance of brake calipers in XH200 OPEL B-Vectra have not been performed for 15 years from the beginning. Disassembling the calipers and cleaning the surfaces on cylinders and pistons, because they must be covered with sludge and banish partially, those spoils the braking pedal touch in the transient.
This kind of inconvenience proceeds gradually, so the user has difficulty to recognize the changing of the reaction. As a tricky method, just rotating the pistons 180 degree without disassembling would often improve the pedal reaction, this is because of displacing the slipping surfaces each other. But remember here, some brake fluid leak may happen in case the sludge may huge enough to destroy the piston sealing.
Not only brake calipers, but also brake master cylinder must be maintained B-Vectra with 150,000 km being used for 15 years and also BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model with 140,000 km for 20 years. This indispensable maintenance must be performed without any arguments before critical traffic accident might happen.
Sealing rubber cup kit for BC7 has been obtained but for B-Vectra has not yet, see to it immediately!
As for SXE10 TOYOTA Altezza, NCP10 Vitz, BLE SUBARU B4 3L and VW 1302 Super Beetle, servicing on brake systems are not so urgent business.
