Toko-Ji Sone Toyonaka today

Weather cock at Kobe Kitano Ijin-Kan

A friend indeed?

My intimate friend asked me to work his office by chance, because he is far from Osaka and the regular worker damaged to his health. Though the day after tomorrow, Thursday is national holiday so no problem, but coming Friday might be occupied by the work, up to his condition? Anyway, accident happens without warning. Amaryllis at Kameoka & Hagi flower at Toyonaka Sone

The best shooting timing for Cluster Amaryllis at Kameoka would be tomorrow of the day after tomorrow, judging from that of yesterday around 50 % flowering condition. If the timing is right with the rice harvesting, the best production can be expected if the beautifully bundled straw and the smoke that burns the paddy can be reflected in the back. There is no choice but to leave the luck to heaven. 28-70 zoom lens with Macro function for full frame was enough to me for the purpose. Koetsuji in Kyoto and Toko-In at Sone Toyonaka were also visited on the way back home for shooting Hagi flower, the timing were both a bit early, about 1 week interval. Because Hagi flower is as small as 1 cm, 3 x magnification might be useful if one flower should be optimized.

Northern Saga in Kyoto

I went out for shooting photos to Kyoto and Kameoka yesterday, cloudy condition as it was, the light source was not so bad for Cluster Amaryllis. The degree of flowering was 30-50 around Daikaku-Temple and Osawa-Pond, Hirosawa-Pond. So, they would be in full bloom in a week. As I'm not satisfied there, I dropped in Kameoka for also Cluster Amaryllis growing in the rice field on the way back. The degree of flowering was 50-75 there. Smoke plays a good part of pic as a background that is caused by burning straw and chaff. Als a specific smell of smoke helps nostalgic and tasty scene, it was nothing but a coming Autumn.
