Old Konica AR mount Hexanon 52mm/18 was investigated fairly including reverse mounted condition. Old designed as ordinary use as it is, it's performance performance cannot be second to none even now. Remembering the past, all the camera manufacturers had been advocated especially in standard lens designing at that time, in another words, the optical engineers had set their own standard focus lenses as the playing and fighting field, so it goes without writing that 50mm standard renses have ultimate optical performance fulfilling almost of requirements, corrections of abberrasion, sharpness and resolution. The results of experimental attempt did not betray my initial imagination at all even in reverse mounted condition, sharpness, resolution and transparency are superb. Consequently, no idea occurs in my mind to buy sophisticatedly designed recent lenses at all.
