Deserted bread toaster
As a before breakfast work, tried I a bread toaster deserted in a trash the other day, it looked like new and careful checking also revealed heater is clean as if it was not used so long time. Almost full assembling proved the criminal is the Thermostat inside that loosed it's original function. Judging from the internal circuitry, it was well designed as modern household appliance. The only part, mechanical Bi-metal thermal controlling was not enough, terminal burning was the reason causing high heating phenomena leading to loose good spring action, both open circuitry and loosing spring effect of a functioning arm were the conclusion. Checking in a website, not so good reputation on this was not so good, outside burned but inside unprocessed etc. So, I selected the way to bypass the thermostat, mechanical timer is equipped and voltage controlling would come to a good cooking condition, those were in my mind.
The future ways of this deserted electric machinery will be bread toaster, foot warmer in cold days, parts warmer for replacing ball bearing and tempering for casting ring preheating procedure.
This one must has been destroyed as a void if I don't pic up at my hand. Following socially industrial concept, mass-production and mass-consuming, my attitude might interrupt it, but I dare agree with the opinion stated by the former Uruguay president Mujica few years ago.

Failed Sakura shooting & MINI Clubman Cooper
As a conclusion, Sakura shooting photo planning was failed because of too early timing, very few started to bloom, 2 to 3 more days would meet with the purpose.
Visiting Sasayama Castle ruins, Brewery Museum was worth to come.
Uncommon wooden devices showing here were interesting though they were used tens years ago.
All the shots appear here are shot through Konica Hexanon 47mm/1.9 originally equipped on the range finder camera SⅢ model.
The capability and potential of this Hexanon lens are superb, texture resolution of wooden equipment, sharpness in detail. The construction of lens designing, 5 element and 5 group is some established one, I desire nothing more as my favorite weapon.
Recent modern engineering plastic made big and with heavy motor embedding at high price is far from my purchase greed.
The less number of lens construction, the more light source comes onto image sensor, no argument is acceptable on this opinion based on the Scientific Truth and Fact.
As for newly obtained information on MINI Clubman Cooper, there exist 3 ways to decide the driving character, Sport, Medium and Green. Motor response, steering action and suspension hardness are changed by toggle switch promptly. Once ignition switch OFF, the setting comes back at Sport position regardless what position had been selected, how come?
At town speed driving, Green position is appreciated, too hard steering reaction at Sport position is not suitable especially for a female driver inviting shoulder muscle stiffness with annoying complain.
On the other hand, much more precise Zero Thrust Angle adjustment would be required if Spot position is selected. EPS centering calibration may be helpful to make the vehicle keep straight running, but innate character caused by ill thrust setting does not disappear.
Anyway, enlarged body size and wheel base that made MINI change category segment from B to C, it became completely different vehicle.
Limited only for an enthusiastic young as an image, MINI Clubman is a hidden choice even for geriatric at all, though faces resemble each other. So sophisticated as it is, I recommend this specially designed by BMW, outstanding FF power trained, just marvelous.
I hope I could obtain this extraordinary appearance vehicle as my through life better half.

Good opportunity for Sakura Bloom shooting today
Trial shooting was performed just after Sunrise this morning utilizing Konishiroku Hexanon 47mm/1.9 on SONY Alpha 7-Ⅲ.
As mentioned before, the doner of this lens is Konica S-Ⅲ Rangefinder film camera produced 60 years ago, 6 element 4 group symmetric lens construction. Original helicoid is utilized with 29cm closeup shooting and helicoid steep inclination for quick focusing.
ISO64, f5.6, 1/250sec and normal setting on Alpha 7-Ⅲ image sensor.
Judging from the result, it's potential and capability fulfils my requirements, resolution, sharpness and color balance.
I have a planning today to shoot Sakura Blooming situations, fine and moderate wind condition would be available just before the rainfall tomorrow.

Naval Airfield Uzurano at Kasai City
I visited Uzurano Airfield yesterday in MINI Clubman Cooper. Tire air checking much affected on ride and steering reaction, became far better like a different vehicle.
Situated in Southern part of Kasai City in Hyogo Pref, The former Emperor of Japan Naval base prepared for Kamikaze Special Attack onto US Aircraft fleet over 70 years ago, just near by the factory of Kawanishi Aircraft Co..
Requiem Monument was there beside the pole of Asahi Flag. This flag, not ordinary "Hinomaru" was so impressive and was I moved so much from the bottom of my heart.
Joined I my hands and prayed silently remembering thousands of young victims who went away instead of our next generation.
Motor maintenance desk reported last time was disappeared, it must be moved to another place such as newly built Hanger for the replica of George, "Shidenkai".
As a matter for regret, Museum and the Hanger were closed because of CV19.

Konica Hexanon 47mm/1.9 on SONY E-mount
Hexanon 47mm/1.9 lens originally equipped on SⅢ was also transplanted on E-mount. The performance of this pretty one is superb as usual common among Hexanons.
10mm extension utilizing original helicoid construction makes it possible to shoot close up to 29cm. 6 element 4 group lens construction does not permit to complain except too lough pitch in helicoid, though some quick focusing is possible.
Minolta Rokkor-PF 45mm/1.8 on SONY E-mount
Riding on the flow of old lens transplantation, Minolta Rokkor-PF 45mm/1.8 was done on SONY E-mount, the donor was Minolta HI-MATIC 7 rangefinder camera produced over 60 years ago. It's a matter for regret to destroy a cultural machinery, but the purpose to survive it's most important part, lens might be a good apology.
The direction of helicoid rotation is opposite to Konica and front lens element could not be disassembled because of irreversible construction, rear element was possible.
Original helicoid construction permits 10mm extension and 28cm close up shooting. Completed weight is 188gr including hood.
Though the defense capability for direct sun light is not so much, produces flare a little by lens surface reflection, natural reproduction of the scenery is excellent, less reddish color compared with Konica.
The construction is 6 element in 4 group, luxury s one.
I appreciate the performance and capability of this tiny 45mm lens, I'll keep this one at hand through my life.
No bidding in Yahoo Auction on this Minolta, lucky so much to have obtained at only 1 yen. It's so boring and troublesome for the seller.
No matter the way to be obtained might be, I'll enjoy on this lens.

Konica Hexanon 45mm/1.8 on SONY E-mout
The most difficult attempt was performed, transplantation, Konica Hexanon 45mm/1.8 on Auto Flash Electron onto SONY E-mount. Ancient Range Finder camera produced over 60 years ago, the donor is.
The lens helicoid inner barrel diameter meets with E-mount tightly meaning an impossibilty physically, some enthusiast dares cutting off the helicoid length to obtain infinity lens position.
As for my modification, no cutting of the innate length of helicoid in order to keep the shortest position for close up shooting. Thanks to this arrangement not to be changed the helicoid, 12.8mm barrel extension from infinity position makes 30cm close up shooting possible. Though distorted iris shape caused by electrically controlled iris construction might affect on the picture quality, my anxiety was in vain. The character of Hexanon lens at those period of time is fully acceptable for me, no problem at all. This lens will be kept at my hand so long as I am in this world.

Mini Clubman Cooper driving impression
I had an opportunity to drive the newest Mini Clubman Cooper yesterday. Turbocharged 3 cylinder motor was well mounted with enough power and torque, also DSG trans-axle has been improved so much with no complaints.
As for steering reaction, too tight and movable in action, lacks so to speak stability, if change an expression good mobility, sporty. 70 mm extended wheel base contributes to stable pitching movement.
For ordinary driver it might be too much to use it as general use.
Also, too sensitive steering action might invite fatigue when relaxed driving is desired. On the other hand, as for my opinion, such kind of setting is favorable, Mini might change my life style into younger.
Anyway, much more precise checking in wheel alignment and in axle construction are necessary to conclude this point, because discrepancy in thrust angle cause unstable steering action similar with this kind of phenomena. This report continues.

New car Mini Clubman
Complicated rear axle construction of Mini Clubman prevents me from proceeding to adjust intending establishment of Zero Thrust in spite of obtaining it's datum from Web site. Rear toe adjustment might invite camber inclination change, how come? They must be adjusted together with? On the other hand, the earlier the better wheel alignment
should be before new tires will be worn unevenly. The door hinge construction in Mini Clubman is stout enough to perform well as usual observed in most of German fabrications.
I visited Yuuki shrine in Tsu City the other day that is famous for beautiful Ume trees, but it was too late a bit.
The importance of "Thrust Angle"
Thrust angle means the direction of vehicle's goes and it is fully dictated only by "Thrust Angle". But, steering changes the direction of the vehicle, how come? Yes, steering position is so controlled by a driver as the vehicle goes straight on a straight and flat road. The direction of front wheels total vector meets with that of rear wheels.
The thrust angle value is the same as front vector direction in broadly speaking.
Suppose, the driver in a vehicle with thrust angle should adjust the discrepancy all the time and the discrepancy causes circular movement according with the value of discrepancy, this is a Physical fact and truth, no room to cut in for any argument. Imagine again here, very slight steering turn causes change of direction immediately, then how about forklift machinery, the same phenomena happens with rear wheel steering construction. When we go back with reverse gear selection, it is the same. Anyway, rear wheel should be fixed straight ahead with Zero Thrust Angle.
Though European Traffic Safety Standard stipulate the discrepant value as plus minus 10 minutes angle value, in case of driving with plus value in Right-hand traffic, it's very dangerous to drive such a vehicle. Probably, all the driver must have experienced being attack by sleep, sleeping in a moment while driving, vehicle goes left side leading to head to head collision. Contraly, left-hand traffic such as UK and JP minus thrust angle is fatal at all. Sleeping with eye opening phenomena happens! Sleeping driver easily permits circular movement according to the thrust angle that the vehicle has innately.
Establishment of "Zero Thrust" is indispensable to drive a vehicle not only comfortably but to do safely.
This why I insist on thrust angle and put an emphasis on it.

About my new vehicle
I said goodbye to TOYOTA Caldina AZT241W after 170,000 km use for 17 years with no specific complain at all, it was a good vehicle that supported me utmost.
And now new comer, Audi A3 Sports Back 2011 model is at hand. Strange tire noise while straight run is the problem, that accompanies with periodic noise and vibration.
I performed the wheel alignment scaling as usual obtaining the datum below.
Front: Total Toe 10.67 min---Slightly out of standard value 0 to 10 min.
Rear: Total Toe 45.90 min---Far from Standard value 10 min.
Thrust Angle>Plus 13.10 min---Out of European Vehicle Safety Standard plus minus 10 min
So, I performed correcting procedure utilizing LASER Beam measuring device as followings.
Front: Total Toe Zero---Standard value for Golf 7 GTI.
Rear: Total Toe 10 min---Standard value For Golf 7 GTI.
Thrust Angle>Zero---Ideal Median
(Both scaling and adjusting procedures were performed in the condition of 60 kg weight burdening on driver's seat.)
Keeping tire pressure at 2.3 kp for front and 2.1 kp for rear, 100 km distance running wiped out strange tire noise. And EPS center position calibration by 360 degree right and left 360 degree precisely then keep the marked center position at over 35 km/h established incredibly stable straight running.
EPS calibration system is some good way to deceive ill-wheel alignment, but fundamentally, establishment of correct wheel alignment is a key to make the vehicle "Fun to Drive".
When the vehicle is jack upped, another safety weight support is the best way to keep yourself alive! Be sure! Jack moves and car falls down!
Remember, an aged famous Porsche service mechanic went away under his favorite car, it's a miserable story happened several years ago.
As for pollen filter in dashboard, filter itself is so made to be destroyed when removed , delicate and fragile paper is half cut at side wall intentionally. If it is reused, no mold smell and no hole are the indispensable requirement, any way this tiny paper-craft for replacement at 5,000 yen is too much?
Hard struggle
As mentioned before a transplantation between Konica Hexanon 45mm/ f 1.8 and SONY E-mount is under going. I came across with the problem on flange back space, too stout construction of helicoid hits on E-mount bayonet directly. As for my intention, helicoid should be at the most backward position for more close up shooting, as rear as possible. Then such kind of collision occurs physically.
Probably, some milling machining machining procedure must be applied to meet with infinity lens barrel position.
Anyway, much more precise scaling and adjusting are necessary before the completion.
To tell the truth, hard struggle is in my heart, naughty, cute and lovely girl is running about in my Cortex all the time these days. I'm making efforts to let her out of my mind killing free time like this.

Incredible affair
Thanks to a sensible lady, Miss Yumiko B, I had a best opportunity to shoot marvelous photos last Friday. I had my heart stolen by a dreamlike world of a fairy tale country and at the same time by her charm, refined sensitivity and fascinating appearance.
On the other hand, I made up my mind not to continue this situation further more, because huge joy accompanies with the same or more sadness behind as usual.
I distinguished her as a cute toddler on my knee at the beginning, but my emotional condition changed gradually as to stay her in my brain all the time. Opening my sleeping eyes, I have clearly recognized her as a mature adult woman, not a doll or an infant, also at the same time, I came up to the condition with difficulty to control myself emotionally .
As my principle, dangerous symptom should be avoided before falling down into an irreversibly troublesome hardness.
Now, it is time to give her farewell although some pain might occur in my bottom of heart. Anyway, I will disappear myself from her sight.
The last shooting on last Friday, I want to show here with some deepest sadness.
New Spring has come
Now Spring is newly started and every living thing is noisy including troublesome CV, oh it isn't a living thing by definition.
A bud blooming image was shot by APSC cropped SONY Alpha 7-3 with Canon SH 30 mm/f 1.7 lens that was embedded in Canon demi EE17 in accompany with 18 mm extension tube.
30 mm focal strength lens produces 1/2 close up magnification with 26 mm forward lens element extension. Remember, 100 mm Macro lens requires 50 mm extension is required in combination with heavy movement double helicoid construction. Of course I recommend the advantage of long focal length lens to gain the distance between lens and object.
As for my selfish opinion, no more huge Macro lens with heavy weight is necessary for close up photo any more.
The smaller and lighter the better, in Digital period of time.
No argument please on this point.
