Rising up on close up shooting

I've realized that not a few micro photo devices are produced in the market these days after surfing in Web sites, but most of them had high price tag because of less requirement. In addition, they are too exaggerated, too heavy-struggling to manage for armature use.
On the other hand, my layman's work is light and easy to handle with only 116 gr in total weight leading to avoiding lens element bowing down phenomena while high magnification.
Light weight is the rightness to be carrying outside all the time without hesitating. Specific purpose such as high magnification over 1:1 to 1:6, completely different condition is waiting with huge difficulty.
I must bare in mind that the focusing depth will be very thin and narrow and also the work would be influenced by a slight camera shake including obtaining good lighting sources. Close up photo is different from ordinary shooting, this might be a reason to be fascinated by this field.
My newly DIY close up device would take effect on next February in the scenery of shooting tear drop photo. Additional accessories are also prepared for imprinting in a drop.

Improved micro photo device

A close up shooting device has improved to rise up magnification, additional external barrel is fabricated and the reverse mounted Triplet lens module was mounted on the tip. It goes without writing that all the inner round surface and radial plate are full covered with no-reflecting scratched black cloth as the same manner mentioned before. But for this kind of lighting noise elimination no good pic is desired at all with good contrast and resolution.
4 mm length is magnified on APSC image sensor with 23.3 mm resulting line expansion almost 6 times and areal enlargement is 36 times as a matter of fact.
A little increase in magnification requires a longer extension of the lens element with loosing focusing depth.
Any way, micro photo world goes without common sense in ordinary shooting, this is why I'm devoted in micro word these days.
A man always wants more, but the importance is to know enough on the way, I know that but my innate bad habit oblige me go ahead.

Micro photo lens DIY

Micro photo requirepment has fabricated spending all day long today, by myself and for myself. Temporary assembly was done yesterday after several attempt of experimental adjustment and final fixation has completed now.
Reverse mounted Konica Hexanon 38mm/f2.8 Triplet lens module is the key to success. Too short focal length reduces working distance between object and lens tip. On the other hand, longer focal length need more barrel length leading to weight increase also invite big balk.
So, adequate focal length had be considered to meet my purpose of use.
I found out some creepy physical influence by the defuse reflection caused on shinny barrel inner surface, apparently it reduces contrast of both color and sharpness. Here, the barrel material is 1 mm thickness PVC pipe. I knew this fact after with surprise applying scratching non reflection black cloth there. Also, round doughnut shape cloth was glued on the vertical inner surface of lens mounting shinny plastic plate.
Magnifying ratio is over 1 to 1 and 7 mm width is produced on the long side of APS-C image sensor as show in a photo.
As mentioned before, the purpose of this micro photo device is to shoot a scenery in water drop, the object is very small like a bee, this is why I devoted so much to fabricate this kind of specific purposed lens.
Though the next theme of our group is "Water drop on a flower petal", expanded I the meaning into "Scenery in water drop on petal tip", this is my strategy for next year. It's interesting, don't you think?

High magnification lens

Close-up shooting equipment was fabricated for the next purpose, a professional photographer, Miss. Yumiko Banno has planned up a school next year to shoot an art in a teardrop bubble. Distilling small  bubble must be caught with adequate magnification, 1:1 ratio is not enough, more enlarging effect is required in the situation of shooting small babble.
The principle in some ordinary use cannot be adopted, because the distance between the lens and object is very short inviting difficulty of lighting source.
Consequently, 40 mm focal length is convenient for the purpose from a experiment point of view.
Konica Hexanon 38mm/2.8 mounted on Konica C-35 easy to use camera was utilized that was produced over 60 year ago, Triplet design lens module without no adjustable iris, but an automatic adjustable shutter mechanism construction played shutter and iris both together.
Avoiding spherical abrasions in closer distance, the lens module was set on the barrel in reverse. Brushed anti-reflective black cloth is plated inside of the barrel. Result on this device would be reported next year.

Toy box art

Because I'm much influenced by a pensionable professional photographer, Miss Yumiko Banno, I tried to shoot my junk box as an artistic expression, experimental as it is, interesting as to enjoy myself, killing my free time.
Rare items were scattered unintentionally, OS pressure carburetor for 10cc model 2 cycle motor, vacuum tube diode and teaching ade for imaging training in FAI F3A maneuver program, etc.
My world here in the box!

Artistic work

Following to the proposal by the creator of this artistic item that I was given the other day, a wooden framework was fabricated today.
Resulting color distribution is consisted silver, blue and black as a matter of fact.
This is my first experience to follow another person's work, so to speak corroboration.
I'm going to bring this work to the meeting, "Table photo" is the next theme.

SONY Alpha Academy in Osaka

I enjoyed last evening making up a Xmas greeting card under good instruction by a superb professional photographer, Miss. Yumiko Banno at SONY Alpha Academy in OSAKA Umeda.
Her guidance was so accurate and to the point as usual as to satisfy my request. My Equipment to do that was not enough to shoot close up photo, I lacked tripod above all.
In spite of her catching cold, probably she must have fever, she exerted her capability utmost, appreciate I her best endeavour in unfavorable condition.
Lower picture is my teaching Ade for my close up shooting.
Small model airplane use, L.M. Cox Pee Wee 020 2cycle motor is invested in a clear Acrylic resin block under vacuum treating procedure, very rare item in the world.

Survived Ikuta Shrine

Relatively warm atmospheric guided me to walk around in Kobe yesterday. Only 30 minutes train ride makes it possible to enjoy it, walking around escorting an intimate friend amplifies my emotion .
Old Chinese restaurant near the Western exit of Hankyu Rail-road satisfied my stomach enough with exotic taste dishes. Fine artistic work was found on the ceiling with good decorations.
Ikuta Shrine is one of my unforgettable memory, because it was destroyed completely into ruins by Hanshin Awaji Big Earthquake Disaster happened in January, 17th in 1995. But now, it is reconstructed fairly as better than before. It survived like a Phoenix.
I had an opportunity to make a snap shot of a young girl there.
A cable car at Shin Kobe takes us to the well maintained Herb Garden and the top of the mountain commands a fine view of Kobe bay, including Kobe Air Port.
Going different way round trip gets some interest.

An anonymous artist

I happened to see an owner of the decorated motorcycle on my way to walk this morning saying he is doing good work. Then his speech vested into his artwork unlimited.
Finally, he gave me one of his work made by play, but it is nothing but an art. He wrote his name and his residence on the back surface.
There are many famous artists of contemporary art, but there actually exists an buried and anonymous artist like him, he must jump to the stage.

Osaka Utsubo Park last Sunday

A young professional photographer, Miss. Yumiko Banno served me some motivation to continue my old hobby in the field. She took me around Utsubo Park area in the daytime, actually interesting places were scattered here and there, unintentionally Marathon athletic race had been held there in the same day at Osaka. I recommend her as a true professional person to entertain us utmost.

Tour to Mt. Katsuragi

The top of Katsuragi mountain commanded a marvelous view of Asuka Area, a few kilometer down lay broad Yamato Plain. Also, famous 3 Yamato mountains those appears in an old stories were apparent, Miminashi, Unebi and Kagu Mt.s.
The dinner menu served after bathing at an inn "Kogen Lodge" was "Kamo Nabe", so to speak "Hot Duck Pot" was above words, our stomachs were fulfilled as a matter of fact.

The temperature outside in the early morning was 3 degree celsius and air was purified utmost, it came into my lunge provocatively.
That kind of atmospheric condition could not be experienced until I went up to the mountain.
The biochemical color changing of leaves comes from a specified Enzyme inside secreted according to an alternation of temperature, the mechanism of leave falling is the same.
All of the visited places in Nara Pref., Tenkawa village, Tanzan schlime and old tombs were not so crowded in a week day.
The purpose of visiting Tenkawa is to inspect a very special item exhibited there, Wright Cyclone Duplex R-3350 -18 cylinder exhaust turbine charged radial motor mounted on Boeing Bomber 29 that was shot down deep in the mountain and deserted as long as 78 years. Thouhg it was just a deceased lyric now, fine industrial works supported with US sophisticated technologies were observed everywhere in it.
Our photographer's tour was successful with good reputation, as a matter of fact.

Tamba Sasayama Tachikui village

Kindly, a skillful professional photographer, Mr. Tomiura invited us to the very specific place, Tamba Tachikui village today. The oldest Climbing kiln, a porcelain furnace, was so impressive for me. Especially, covering cap with melt material shows the temperature there exceeded 1,000 degree celsius show in a picture.
I had a talk with a visitor from Nerima Tokyo, he came there on 50 cc motorcycle without ferry service, just on the road all the way!
The scenery was just that of late Autumn everywhere.
I'll show some of the harvest today.

Too old to dream

However hard I might endeavor to accomplish the result, the work is always the same as a matter of fact.
Unlikely subject must be targeted and the picture must be recognized immediately what it is.
Similar work should not be appeared in the past.
Under the most ideal light source that is acceptable by the most of  visitors.
No deliberate exaggeration without any excessive visual stimulation.
Caught from the best shooting angle keeping ground line.
Fateful transition of the energy by the creator through the work.
In order to fulfill all the requirement, a photographer concentrate to establish the work.
Professional photographers is one of the most difficult task in the world, so I catch and recognize it.
I would like not to choose the photographic work as my main profession, because I do not have enough energy, physical strength and concentration.
Remembering my past, I tried not to hard and had a innate mental  property to avoid hardship easily running into my tent.
Final hard efforts at the end is the key to overcome the hurdle, I didn't realize until I come to be geriatric.
When I grew too old to dream to do that it's impossible for me.

Motomachi Kobe

Taking photos around at Motomachi Kobe all day long yesterday. Thanks to a kind invitation by a superb professional photographer Mr. Takanori Tomiura, the representative of "Studio Bug", I could take part in the group.
