Nagging

My son is fascinated by beautiful pictures in the catalog of newly designed(appearance only) machinery in our field and insists to introduce to our laboratory, in spite of good circumstance that all the machines are well serviced and no inconvenience exist to practice at all.
Our works are not based on any emotions nor feeling, but on actual practice?
How much can he do? What kind of high transactions does he do on the machinery?
I wanna suggest him to start his business here with the equipment as it is and he change them as likes in the conditions of his own bank borrowing when he sees the signs livable in future.
Remember here, all the equipment in our laboratory are kept in best conditions with periodical maintenance by myself and no necessity is observed to be replaced at all.
Young men have some tendency to be cheated by susceptible manufacturer's strategy in any field?
