Boring

Though started I to charge batteries for Rx and grow booster preparing for the flight tomorrow, it's the first time in the year, gave it up in vain, just because of the strong wind that would be expected in the area, over 10m/sec, how come.
So, I'll spend time tomorrow repairing my ATX computer, provablly, the hard disc drive must be replaced into a new one, 2,5 size as it is, the size of coupplers are the same, it would work as 5 size one. Booting claster must be destroied and drivers must have disapeared.
As a graphic board is purchest at relatively high price, this poor computer must be repaired at any rate, to enjou the program, "Real Flight 7,5".
Over 6 years use of this kind of machinery requires some repairing work, just it makes me feel boring.

Single channel controlling "PILOT Junior"


A single channel controlling "PILOT Junior" is my next planning to proceed. Fuselage plates and stabilizers, vertical and horizontal ones are already prepared. I'm going to choose K&B 15 old motor, adapting ENYA throttle valve and OS 701 silencer applying some modification. This model would appear not in next meeting but in the coming Autumn one. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the meeting held on 9th April this year, because my lovely PILOT Ace B is standing by under fully fine condition. I can meet with intimate old friends there and enjoy precious time each other.

Stabilizers for "Headmaster 60"

Stabilizers for Golden Age "Headmaster 60" were fabricated yesterday, both horizontal and vertical ones.
I'm going to proceed to main wing construction today, a separate type design would be invited this time for the first time. Center connective main wing should distort when some burdening was applied reading to unpredictable bad feeling while maneuver, therefore, I have been avoiding such a separable design no matter how it is R/C or U/C.
The idea occurs in my mind the other day that the main factor to fly model airplane is caused by noting but the main wing and the Physical performance is exerted only by it, so, moment and weight balance can be changed in any way, if another factors might be changed keeping the same main wing on it.
The introduction of separate main wing design this time is based on the idea that interchangeable main wing and easily adjustable setting on the different fuselages.
Let's see what will happen in future.

Golden Age "Headmaster 60"

Fuselage side plates on both side are under construction, enlarged "Headmaster" into 60 size.
Dihedral and reverse wing angle would be zero degree with rectangular shape, motor thrust angle, main wing, stabilizer and rudder area setting would be set adequately in order to satisfy the capability for F3A pattern maneuver.

ing Autumn.The motor being invited would be OS 60 FSR, ENYA 60X or YS 60SR. The main wing area would be 62 dm2 and the weight would be 3,1kgr.

VW1302 legal inspection

The periodical legal inspection for my air-cooled Super Beetle by the authority was performed at Hyogo Land Transport Bureau in Kobe Uozaki.
As I paid attention a little on her, failed I the first trial, too low head light axis direction  did it to me. Worn wire harness makes some resistor and the rate of light power is not enough in the high beam position, so a little accelerating was necessary to rise up voltage activating her dynamo. Just a little right side light axis adjustment utilizing building wall made it possible to be accepted by the measuring machine.
The measuring and testing devices had been improved at Kobe Bureau into some sophisticated Multiple tester, only one line is left uncompleted under construction.
My desperate effort to adjust volume control screw on Solex 34 PICT3 carburetor, in order to obtain the best mixture in an actual running condition, the exhaust gas check could be passed.  Axle wheel alignment had no problem. 52,000 yen was the cost this time including the compulsory compensation insurance. Probably I'll continue this VW 1302 Super Beetle for two more years from now.

Fitting adapters






As a lost wax  precision casting method circumstance was settled in my labo room, some pieces of special adapters were fabricated. Carburetor holder part of L.M.Cox Tee Dee 09 and Medallion 15 were produced promptly.
Also, muffler holding adaptors were done on Maccoy 19 and 29 with OS 702 and 703, ENYA 29-4B with OS 703, thank to these adaptor pieces, mufflers made by different factories are fixed tight without exhaust gas leak.
ENYA 60X muffler is adaptable on OS 60FSR motor without any adjustment nor interferences.
ENYA 60-3B muffler is suitable for US K&B 60 motor that is fabricated for the purpose of Military use.

Washing machine maintenance



Black dust on a finished laundry recommended these days obliged me to know the reason and to clear the problem. Killed I yesterday, because It took me all day long yesterday to disassemble and clean thoroughly the long used washing machine. Though a special tool was required to loosen the basket center lock nut, did I it by my steady effort with a hummer after all.
Dusty and ugly inner basket and outer case made me hesitate at the beginning to proceed the next step, made I it through with strong mind.
This kind of washing machine should have some periodical maintenance service at least once a year, so I conclude.
