Model motor combustion


OS MAX 25FSR motor gives me some opportunity to make research about so to speak "Combustion". It is not operated good enough to satisfy my demands for drawing maneuver pattern such as F3A competition, just produces sludge in the cylinder and piton top, in addition the rotational condition is not smooth using my familiar fuel THC 1000R 30% NitroMethane that had been used for long period of time for 60 motor operation. Finally came I the conclusion that the compression ratio is too high resulting knocking and detonation phenomena. So, I have prepared several pieces of 0,10mm thickness gaskets to reduce the ratio, test running on the bench of 25FSR motor shows some improvement and combustion note has changed from that of hard to hear sound into smooth and mild comfortable to do sound. I have determined to make researched only on the focused point, "Combustion". Tuned pipe setting technology for 2 cycle motor on YS60 FR had been established already, the purpose of revived my Radio Controlled Model Airplane Life is to know the best combustion condition in 2 cycled model motors after some collections of detailed operating datum on the combustion.

Clinical mistake

Bleeding traces of the peripheral blood vessels and infiltration was observed resulted adhered fracture when peeling the adhesive tape stuck to the shoulder portion ie, epithelium peeled. It was nothing but my own mistaking at all, bear in my mind that there exists such kind of adhesive tape to cause an irreversible tissue destruction and this is said especially on a geriatric patients. Even some long period of experiences for as long as a half century are not enough to treat patient perfect, however carefully I might examine with best cares, stacks of efforts and experiences would continue continuously till I go as one of a clinical general practitioner.

Wing correction



The corrections of the twisted main wing and the stabilizer revealed the incompatibility of moving parts of the wing such as ailerons and elevators that had been joined the flats by deception at the beginning, so intentionally distorted parts should be corrected one by one with the same manner applied on the wing part correction. All the deceptive parts should be corrected and eliminated into Zero thrust conditions. Sober and steady efforts of corrections like this not an interesting nor an easy tasks, but surely it would be rewarded as a result at all. And the result obtained after the correction resembles that of automobile's Zero Thrust establishment.

Astral X60




Astral X60 also disappointed me after a precise observation on the constructive accuracy especially the condition of the main wing twisted and vented distortion. Right side construction had some ugly discrepancy both twisting up to the end and also deflection to upper direction, this kind of poor fabrication has nothing to do with a critical competition use model. In spite of higher priced tag, this production was off at all. Consequently, the right side main wing before working was cut into two pieces at the central horizontal line as same as the tail wing of Curare 60 and Saphia 60 without any hesitations. Any errors and distortions in it's alignment should be eliminated to ALAP, if the flyer wants to win in the competition. Basically, just a toy like model airplane for an ordinary Sunday flyer and the precisely fabricated one for a competition applicant are completely different each other.

You too, Su-31?


Careful checking on the main wing of Sukhoi Su-31 40 produced by Kyosho proved negligible discrepancy with twisting down to edge on both side though the rate of distortion differs promptly, of course this twisted phenomena should be corrected into zero thrust at any rate before fabrication. Obtaining the main wing with ultimate accuracy that has nothing to do with any distortion is a key to a happy Radio Control Model Airplane Life that I hope in future from now, I'm sure to do that tomorrow.
Though I want to go out to the flying place of holidays, too cold weather condition these days prevents me from doing that.

"Saphia" by W.Matt




The main wing of Saphia designed by one of a famous champ in F3A field Wolfgang Matt in Lichtenstein was also corrected, this model airplane has larger wing area compared with another ones, probably it's suitable motor might be not 60 but 90? For about 30 years this was thrown away untouched because of critical assembly defect, main wing twisting on the right side, and made I up my mind to correct and fix exactly utilizing the same methods as I applied on the stabilizer of Curare 60. Considerable discrepancy was found and corrected in aligned condition and this would show me straightforward rudder reaction in 3 dimensions. Operation should be performed on the primary tumor, and the same thing is said on the airplane with a distorted wing by twisting. The airplane would not fly well if some discrepancy might be corrected only by assisting moving wing or tab adjustments. Straight wing in correct alignment would be required for competition model.

Curare 60 reconstruction



Accomplishment of difficult and the most important step was performed spending all day long of yesterday. It is one of an indispensable requirement for any airplane to establish the 3 dimensional alignment of wings including moving ones. I can say here, the alignment could not be consisted without the dense and precise works utilizing some adequate measuring instruments and devices, such as a vernier caliper and a parallelometer. As it is the work that is nothing but a time consuming and troublesome with requiring desperate efforts involving ultimate concentration and keen observation, it is one of a fate to be forced constructor's way. In order to keep the performance quality for the contest requirement the model airplane should be fabricated in the manner of ultimate precision of 3 dimensions.
It is true that there exist several professional builders in the field of model airplane competition mainly for Nippon Championship tournament players, considerably a plenty of money must be pre-reserved and wait some long period of time to obtain it. It is fabricated beautiful and glossy so much with geometric and align accuracy leading to easy adjusting and stable flight. So, the airplane would fly well or not is able to determine at a glance in the contest venue, so some foreign  famous builder had said over 30 years ago. My intention is that the precisely fabricated airplane should fly as well as that made by some professional builder or exceeds if it is done by an ordinary layman and also it does not look well? I'm going to prove this hypothesis this year by make myself to be an applicant to the future contests this year relying on only my own efforts and capability.
