For more than ten years after the last maintenance, brake fluid of 11AD air-cooled Super Beetle is not changed left undone pretending unknown. Since it's working fine without any obvious problems, it's easy to put it off, but brake fluid is the only thing you can't judge by color or transparency alone. It absorbs moisture from the air, causing rust on the brake cylinder walls. Also, the rubber parts like the cups and seals can suddenly break down over time, making it extremely dangerous.
I have determined to do that tomorrow! I have prepared replacement part canned brake fluid already. Overcome the innate tendency to slack off. Description is said to myself.
