The sound of Cicadas was discerned this morning for the first time of the Summer season, so the specific rainy season will come to the end stage, then the hottest period of time would come around as usual.
As a measure for this harsh climate condition, the period of the time of early in the morning and the time before Sunset are the indispensable moment to practice for F3A competition. Preparation of F3A competition model airplane and enough flight practice with yell would be the keys to success of my planning. Without any help and support by professionals, it takes time for me(outsider & Layman) to establish the conditions to repeat flying practice, because the airplane must be prepared and be set to fly smoothly eliminating any inconvenient bad habits, even trainer models that have been kept for long time and flown in the past took me time more than 6 month of period? Mainly it was occupied by the adjustment procedure for YS fuel pressure regulator system application to OS 32F motor, now it operates well to make maneuver patterns without any problem.
Anyway, however higher the outside temperature might be, the tasks of model airplane are piled in front of me as a huge barrier wall. But, I'll never give up till my intention might come true to take part in the National Competition.

Tiny discrepancy
It became clear while a talking with a representative of wholesalers that there exists some dogmatic stereotype in the perception of the fixed segmentation between the F3A pure stunt airplane model and just an 3D acrobatic ones in spite of the similar construction and dimensions they have each other. Anyway, my participation to the F3A competition carrying with 3D acrobatic model would prove my imagination would be out focused or not. Of course, tail moment would be changed into much longer value to adopt with the requirement in P15 pattern drawing in the sky. Breaking the packed stereotypes in the field is one of my intention.
Main wing connective aluminum pipe inclination had been changed into adopting with the parallelism with the stabilizer few days ago, but the change of the basic construction caused an unexpected event on Pegasus, aileron trim was obliged to be moved considerably to the right and the change invited the critical discrepancy in the angle of attack right and left promptly. Rear wing positioning pin should be inclined at the same time if the main connective rod inclination was changed. Every experiment teaches me what I lack in considerations. As a matter of fact, the inclination of rear positioning pin was adjusted and fixed in parallel condition with main wing connector. As the error was corrected, so the aileron trim should return in the nearer position similar with the prior condition.

For study
My determination to get start for a R/C flight after work , because it is rainy and the wind condition is not favorable today. The visitors from Yokkaichi city coming to our flying place today must be disappointed so much.
I went out for R/C flight in the afternoon yesterday staying the place as long as four hours till sunset. 7 flights were done with gathering know hows, at the last flight, Pegasus 40 lost the motor control because of the motor servo fracture, just loosing tightening wood bis regretting my own rough work at the portion.
Because this acrobatic airplane was brought by my intimate friend for free of charge, I cannot complain about the lach of accuracy of construction. Twisted and skewed main wing, parallelity between main wing and stabilizer was re-established. But still now, several bad habit remains. It is also true that the endeavor to correct and to reconstruct are the good opportunity to pile the precious know-hows. This is why I insist this tiny acrobat airplane for relatively long time. This simple and vulnerable one tells me that, "The lighter the better for an airplane.".
K&B Speed fuel was invited without any information of it's component, under the condition of very comfortable and stable performance remembering my good days 30 years ago as a contest flyer inviting 30% Nitro-Methane including THC 1000R fuel, checking the character of the fuel K&B Speed fuel after coming home, I was surprised much to know the Nitro content rate is 50%. It was a natural story to have made me feel that was so good.
On the other hand, 30 years old fuel THC 1000R has become bad, Oxidation of Nitro or Methyl Alcohol might be the reason, anyway it has been left unused so long, it is stupid to use such a chemical material after a long period time.
Repeating flights, I have remembered the feel of maneuver patterns, I have come to be able to watch and know the inclination of the main wing before entering the acting of pattern promptly and also the decision of the flight courses and lines.
I could establish the pattern for Sports man class yesterday, and could I get some solid feel to survive myself into one of a contest player. EPP power system are already prepared for future application to the competition. I'll soon recover a sense of actually riding control the airplane on the ground, more several flight are required, probably before this Autumn my planning would come true?
Though Mr. Akiba says it is very difficult to control 2 cycle motor with Tuned Pipe in F3A maneuver pattern recently invited P15 because of "pipe-in and out" physical property, I intentionally invited YS60SR old 2 cycle motor into Sukhoi-31 40. In case of inevitable failure of the choice of power plant, I'll change it into EPP source.

Discussion
Discussion with former World Champion Mr. Akiba moved me so much because his opinion had great energy to change my old thinking 30 years ago, the recent technology in F3A has remarkable improvement especially in Electric Motor power source. Ogawa Precise Manufacturing Company has contributed in the development of Coged Belt Rotation Reduction System. Though the first production(very few amount) had been sold out already, their reduction system is one of the best superior power source in the competition field. Consequently, my planning to chose power source has changed from Gas power into EPP. Handling of Lipo battery is the most nervous point for me, because the explosion accidents are discerned here and there, US military machine gun bullet iron case is one of the way to resist the fear of that?

Combination of moving wings
Simultaneous control of rudder and elevator while rolling maneuver is an indispensable requirement, also aileron is controlled at the same time. In order to keep rolling axis straight rudder and elevator should be controlled adequately the depth of moving wing that changes according to rolling movement. Nothing but some continuously repeated training flight makes it possible to succeed in establish the straight rolling axis what angular it may be, rise up and down, 45 degree angular rolling and horizontally straight flight.
Consequently, the combination of rudder and elevator with rolling maneuver is the first step to win the competition without any argument. Just writing in front of LCD is only an easy task, but actually at the flying place, desperate efforts would be required, it's far from a recreation but a hard ordinal.

Soon Su-31 40
As it was a rainy day from early in the morning yesterday, the construction work for Kyosho Sukhoi Su-31 40 had progressed on the most critical work of wings alignment setting. The relation of wings angle attack are different each other depending on the original designers, Mr. Naruke;a few minus angular relations, Mr. Akiba; 0 to 0, Mr. Hatta; 1,4 mm minus at stabilizer edge. Following the original concept by Naruke, Su-31 was so designed to have minus alignment relations, but dare I applied 0 to 0 relations between main wing and stabilizer supporting Akiba's concept. Recent maneuver program like P-15 contains many vertical flights and the balance of straight and vertical are the same, in addition, bad habit that appears while straight up and down cannot be denied when 0 to 0 alignment was destroyed, this is why I have chosen Akiba's theory in spite of different original design. The positioning of stabilizer is the most important step, because a slight discrepancy causes bad habit of feeling that belongs around with all of it's lifelong until it is corrected, The Science never tells a lie!. Consequently, the most nervous feeling step for Su-31 was performed with the best concentration. Of course, the twisting and skewed wing show inevitable bad habit, Mr. Akiba says, "All of the theory should be discussed under the condition of no wing discrepancy. Out of question at all!". Yes, all of the displacement, twist and distortion in the original kit of Kyosho Su-31 were the most time consuming work for me to correct them well to up to the competition model level, it was easier to construct it from the beginning than starting from the China made discrepant RF kit?
As I'm not a professional constructor of the model airplanes, my work does not look good, but the flight itself of mine is never second to them at all.

Eye of needle
US military strategy has become more easier than before depending on the trends in Japanese politics. As the dike collapses from an eye of a needle, Japan has taken a very important step yesterday, future responsibility of Japanese government would be heaviest from now, any fight between countries takes place immediately, because there exist many live coals here and there. Any way, it is true that the period of time that is nothing but an age of ordeal began yesterday. I'm afraid the same situation would happen as 70 years ago, because the history repeats periodically as the records show. What country would be that a probable receives the hardest impact of the food crisis? The result would be easily imagined what would happen in future. The destruction of long lasted compliance balance would cause unpredictable affairs that has never be thought.
