An another power source for Pegasus Acro was prepared, OS 46 LA with YS pressurized fuel controlling regulator system. The regulator body invites some complicated and crowded pipe application, but still it is worthy for burdening enough especially on this kind of maneuver model.
Ordinary richer needle valve setting for fear the lean condition after an ending half is a mundane affair for YS pressurized fuel regulating system.
The key to success of setting it is simply the angular position of the regulator with satisfying mixture, idle to middle and middle to hi.
The difference of motor's weight causing the discrepancy of CG point would be compensated by moving battery position including replacing different sizes. No easy way such as burdening lead weight is unacceptable.

Pegasus Acro completed
YOSHIOKA Pegasus Acro is now ready to fly, precise adjustments were done in detail. The motor for acrobatic flight must be suitable with stable fuel supplying circumstance such as continuous pressure under adequately regulated control.
Tuned pipe is omitted, YS 45 FS is my choice this time, relatively heavy weight invited some anxiety on the CG point, but the additive of one more elevator servo has met it adequately. Adjustment of the point within 5 mm depends on the burdening point of the battery as usual. Very kind description about the setting of the moving wings is helpful so much.
This tiny model airplane but well designed based on the true ability as a former World Champion in F3A field has enough potential to supply me some tremendous datum from now, anyway, I must bare in mind to continue this worthy one as long as possible.

YOSHIOKA Flash Pro 45 started
YOSHIOKA Flash Pro 45 started yesterday. The basic constructive designing resembles a former build Pegasus Acro for both wings and fuselage. The principle to fabricate these model airplane is the same, paying desperate efforts not to distort or to twist especially the main wing in any direction, of course the accuracy of fuselage is the same. Poorly destructed model airplane could be flown by adjusting the trimming the moving wings, but difficult to be controlled following to the pilot's desire. Both good designing and good fabrication could contribute to the better bare characteristics of the model airplane. However better improvements might be done on the controlling Radio and Servos with precise and sophisticated mixing technology, the principle of Science in Aerodynamics does not change, once obtained bad habit innately by ill-fabrication never disappears. So, it is said here, "The more precisely accurate fabrication, the more candid flight could be supplied to the pilot.".
As for my future construction, next one would be also YOSHIOKA Sunday Alpha 50 and follows my destination, YOSHIOKA Bingo F3A, both of them are prepared and waiting for my determination. An effort to be exerted in my Hobby World is somewhat far harder work than my previous occupation.

YOSHIOKA Flash Pro45
As the next step this year, a kit box of YOSHIOKA Flash Pro 45 is opened and shells were separated from the base plates this morning. The kit is constructed with many small parts that threats me as to hesitate to start. Adhered rubber band denatured because of long period of time were carefully removed.
Though the wood cutting method is not recent LASER burning one but conventional, the accuracy of sawing is good on both balsa and piled hard wood. The selection and distributions of balsa materials are ultimately adequate and the degree of distortion and bending as a natural phenomena are very slight, the kit quality is excellent, second to none. So, the execution of this model is fully dependent of the skill of the builder. Best care and concentration must be exerted not to make any distortion for all the steps. The better the more accurate.
The motor to be burdened would be one of the most reliable and powerful one, YS 45 FR 2 cycle with Hattori tuned pipe, the propeller for this condition should be a marvelous Grass Fiber Polyester, manufactured by Akizuki Product 12-7,5.
I would like to continue the principle, participating the contests not with a professional made sophisticated beautiful stunt model but with a individually self manufactured model. Do all by myself what I can do on a model airplane.
I hope I could be an applicant for F3A Certification Exam this year with this Flash Pro model.

Pegasus Acro soon
Flying tail linkage work on YOSHIOKA Pegasus Acro was over before long. Though the basic structural vulnerability of the tail stabilizer has been making me so anxious, the availability of this construction might perform good maneuver, so my opinion was changed after checking the backlashes of the completed moving parts.
But, any lough landing or over loading dangerous flight are inhibited, weight reduction method by making halls are done every where in this Pegasus leading to some limit vulnerability as a maneuver model airplane.
Ailerons linkage and fuel tank fixing works are remaining now, just a little bit works.
Very simply designed as Pegasus is, this is not a trainer plane for laymen but a specific purposed eccentric Acrobatic plane for an experienced pilot.
Handling with the best cares, I hope this Pegasus Acro would last me at least 300 flights from now.

Caldina AZT241W maintenance
130,000 yen expenses prolongs the life span of my Caldina AZT241W, for tires and the periodical replacement parts, motor mounts and trans-axle ones. Cooling liquid in the radiator is probably Super Long Life Coolant, I have obtained as the genuine parts at the dealer today. Though some anxiety that involved bubble might get into the heater core leading to some rack of heating efficiency, but I did it well without any inconvenience after that.
Judging from the degree of wear of the Dynamo brush and that of starter motor, more 20,000 should be continued on both of them, so do I the maintenance after that, replacement parts are already prepared at my hand including a piece of serpentine belt, 7PK1930.
I hope no problem would happen on my lovely Caldina for the time being.

Hobby or Occupation?
I'm a creature of this habit, because I have been advocating that the technology required in Radio Control Model Airplane field is applicable in my business and it is very helpful from some different point of view. For example, in the situation of my business to be required dynamic eyesight with ultimate concentration, remembering a contest flight scenery that I had participated before, a similar concentration technique plays a great part of actual business procedures. In another words, technology, know-hows and back ground, more over, fundamental ideology might have been nourished on myself, not by some ordinary educational program but by the experiences obtained while I was lost in my hobby field. The border line to divide my business and my hobby is not always clear, so my occupation does not always occupy myself with slavery tiresome works, on the other hand, often my hobby work suffers hard, so to speak some complicated state in my mind is continuing for long time.
Anyway, my intention to lead my life is to spend interesting and enjoyable life keeping on smiling till I go up to the Heaven.

Switch harness for FUTABA
4 pieces of switch wiring harness for FUTABA Radio were fabricated today. 3 of 6 positions toggle switches and a 1 of 3 positions one were utilized intending more reliability of continuous and even terminal pressure design. Under the vibrating condition by motor combustion, the reliability of switch is the first requirement for model airplanes.
Consequently prefer I a toggle constructive designing to sliding terminal ones, though FUTABA genuine parts invite the latter one.
Another matter to be cared is rusting phenomena on the connectors at the battery portion caused by toxic sulfide gas while charging. Periodical checking must be done at least every 3 months.
Remember the past, 1 model per one is lost how ever precisely deepest care was paid, human error causes irreversible accident. Though have I no intention to make any excuse for them, interference and that of cross modulation caused so to speak "Uncountable" leading to fatal results before we could obtain 2,4 GHz sophisticated system is invited to our Radio Control Model Airplane field.
Now, we are released from any anxiety for the Wave Interference, it sounds me like a dreamy Paradise.

Eg & Tr-axle supports replaced
It took me 2 days from early in the morning till late at night to replace 4 pieces of motor and trans axle mounting supports with fully exhausted my body condition. Especially, the right side and the rear required relatively long period of time, inexperienced task on a unfamiliar model would often the case.
The main right side one has a strange construction to have a hunger stay arm connected with 10 mm bolt and a ST for loosening in narrow space was indispensable at all.
The trans axle rear mount required a long extension tool to be loosen the main silent bush center connection from the left tire house portion. Relatively higher shape and 3 long bolts prevented some smoother handling instead obliged me several attempts like a wisdom ling under quite an unnatural body posture. Removing and re-insertion procedures of this complicated mount was done from the engine room after unburdening the canister body thoroughly, this is the only way to be done on Caldina AZT 241W model.
Now, have I some muscle pain everywhere in my body, but the condition would be getting better, also I have realized the reason why a TOYOTA dealer mechanic was so surprised to here I would do by myself this difficult work.
Then how was the result after some desperate efforts for two days, rewarded?
Yes! All the unpleasant reactions and attitude disappeared at all like a new vehicle.
I knew how much effective the mounting parts are, driving feel does not always established only by the axle geometric designs but over 200 kg weight supporting construction and conditions have much to do with.
Probably, the manufacturer's engineers in the researching and developing division who seldom appear in their advertisement reports, want to advocate their struggling effort like bleeding.
Ordinary passenger's car might have enough capability to endure over 20 years use if the rubber parts were replaced periodically following manufacturer's instructions.

Eg mounting parts for Caldina
4 pieces of TOYOTA genuine parts arrived at my hand, motor and transaxle supporting mounts for 150,000 km used Caldina AZT 241W . It means that must I proceed to some muscle work from now, because the strange pitching movement while bouncing obliged me to order them last year. As I have similar experiences on German OPEL Vectra twice, I don't be afraid of the work.

Film coating over
Finally the film coating procedure on YOSHIOKA Pegasus Acro is over yesterday late at night. The accuracy of construction is relatively good but the coloring shows a tastes of amateur making. Lack of consistency of color balance and commodity value immediately appeals that this model was not produced by a professional craftsman at all. Because the refinement in details is completely different from China made "Almost Ready to Fly, ARF" models.
By the way, the most of recent model airplane pilots take a easier way without building up by themselves.
As for me, I dare construct it from the kit style or from a piece of balsa, otherwise it impossible for me to have or to keep some attachment feeling on it, also the same opinions about this are discerned by my friends.
Remembering the past, Pegasus ST lost last year by my mistaking was not built by myself but by my friend, so the construction of Pegasus Acro was done after 30 years.

Framework Pegasus
The framework of YOSHIOKA Pegasus Acro is completed today, not so difficult but not so easy as a matter of fact. Desperate effort was done especially on the distortion and on the twisting construction of main wings including fuselage parallels.
As the next step, film coating procedure is waiting, the color coordination with better visibility is desired, because the degree of inclination of the main wing and fuselage should be recognized from the ground continuously while the maneuver flight.
Cub-Yellow color would be applied on the fuselage top and bottom, also on the upper surface of the main wing only radially from the center. Tomorrow's work.
