KAVAN caburetor

KAVAN old German carburetor that had been thrown away for long time was disassembled and serviced to be operated again under the fuel pressurized condition.
Though I do not have urgent necessity, it was performed as a good reason to escape behavior, modelers have usually this kind of tendency.
Fully clogged throttle valve required dropping them in to CRC 556 all night long, piled sludge and vanish were cleaned thoroughly into smooth movement condition.
Soldered fuel supply nipple refused to be heated over 182 degree, and it required  relatively long period of time, solvent immersion time.
Drum lower throat is widened by grinding for the purpose of fuel pressurized conditioned use under Perry pomp or Robert's Pomper system. The opening size is not enough for YS Regulating system.
The machining technology in Germany had been excellent in this carburetor in this period 45 years ago and it's designing mechanical construction is available even now. The tolerance setting is high revel at all---remembering the experience to have disassembled a famous mechanical silver-salt camera, Leica M3 model 20 years ago, it took me all day long from early in the morning till late at night to do that also re-assembling with fine shutter and distance meter coupling again.
