Conditions?

Six hours driving in VW 1302 Super Beetle causes my low back pain, fully mechanical control system with no power assistance may be too hard for a geriatric? Especially frequent gear changing attitude using clutch pedal in a crowded traffic is no good, long driving on a high way is acceptable however long distance it may be.

Recently recognized I the result of changing the automobile fuels into Shell Pura 100, the physical performance of 40 years old WV air-cooled boxer 4 engine increases day bay day, probably considerable carbon, sludge and banish must have been accumulated for long period of time.

Basically the ignition timing in 1971 by VW company invitation was unusually controlled by double diaphragm special delayer and advancing device , while idling the timing was controlled at ATDC 5 degree by the intake manifold minus pressure, when the throttle valve was opened another vacuum diaphragm is activated to perform BTDC combustion timing, any way very unusual control concept based on anti-pollution theory, remember here valve over-up is 5 degree, it may have something to do with the distributor setting?

Now I removed ignition timing retarding system including throttle valve control mechanical system dashpot because the distributor itself had been replaced into later model's one, now the timing is BTDC 10 degree as another cars do with good performance. But at the Legal Inspection every 2 years, some modification may be required to attaining the regulations, below 4,5% CO and 1200PPM HC, delaying the timing and opening volume control screw adjustment, one year later.

As for BC7 SUBARU Legacy LSi US model, replacement of ATF with adequate amount, fuel exchanging from regular fuel to Shell Pura 100 and re-scaling of wheel alignments yesterday, ultimately in best condition at all. Though the wheel diameter is 15" , the tires are best supplied, BRIDGESTON POTENZA 01 with 60% profile, the compliance balance is obtained with suspension's one, including solid engine mount for GDB model instead and trans-axle's ones.

This morning tried I XH200 OPEL B-Vectra for the transporter, the bad habit that the only the very beginning of starting is no good, engaging clutch does not work smooth? But this phenomena occurs only once, after that no problem, how come? Is this a bad sign to decline to fracture?
