Awfully fine!

Hot but relatively cooler morning today permitted me to go to my laboratory on a air-cooled VW Super Beetle. The most important mixture control air volume screw on Solex 34PICT3 carburetor has been fixed at the position to adapt to the emission control, uncomfortable jerky response obliged me to make it richer mixture naturally. 1/16 clockwise turning, reduction of air volume, has changed the performance of Flat 4 OHV AD 1,600cc motor like a different one. Elimination of antero-posterior backlash on shift rod performed the day before yesterday also contributes to improve drive feel.
