Hottest day in Osaka

I went out for flights early in the morning yesterday avoiding strong Sunlight in the daytime. Cloudy climate condition was helpful for me in the flying place blocking shiny Sun light.
Careful checking on head bolts on OS 40LA motor found out some loosening leading to pressure leak, remembering the starting scenery, there was not a little difficulty to continue the initial rotation even in cold starting stage. Again I felt the necessity of seriously periodical inspections on even a tiny model airplane. Thought I the lack of pressure, it must have brought by some wear on the piston and the cylinder walls, so I had determined to replace motors into 46LA, but the boring cause was just loosening of cylinder head bolts.
The original carburetor on 46LA is replaced into 20C type(probably for car use) with big throat in addition with fuel nozzle narrowing mechanism in accordance with throttle valve operation. As the main fuel nipple on the carburetor is interrupted by the 3 dimensional fuel hose line if it is assembled together on 46LA, the crank case is ground a bit for fitting. This motor would play and exert a good performance on Tetra Spitfire 5B Mk2 with it's lighter weight 272gr. Graupner wide blade 11,5 * 5,0 propeller would be invited in order to make the speed of the maneuver flight up and down monotonous with the braking effect of larger diameter and thinner pitch inclination propeller.

Now, it's the hottest season with the annual festival in OSAKA today, Tenjin Matsuri, and the Boats parade, Funatogyo(Shinto ritual) would be done around Tenjinbashi with 5,000 of fireworks, 1,300,000 people will come to enjoy as usual.
