Volunteer activity

I happened to participate in a volunteer group action to visit the Geriatric nursing home at Toyooka in northern Hyogo prefecture. My duty was to pic some old women up on the way from Osaka area and to scatter them on the way back, all of them had been paramedical stuff now retired because of age.
The woman in the Geriatric nursing home is now in the condition of suffering from "Dementia" and speaks a little. It was very natural that it was very noisy and talkative in the car because they met since few year having the history of alumnus each other, but as for our biggest surprise, the old dumb woman started to speak as if she was in a normal condition, in addition, she remembered the name of all of visitors in full names. She spoke much regained her sparkling eyes glow to be a normal member of a intimate friend in a school days. Judging  from the change of her face from dull to lively, her emotional condition must be recovered as before and she must overcome her disease soon.
The importance is a stimulation from the circumstance, so I felt. I could be one of them in a friendly ring with the best joy. It was so helpful that I had been a member of the medical field to get into their field.

I could drop in some place on the way back around Toyooka city, one is the Tulip Garden with 300 different color and 1,000,000 in total designing the characteristic doll called "Gensan".  Big number of the tulip plant moved us unusually.
The other was the famous tourist attraction "Gembudo", Rock Plate Compression Layer.
We were surprised so much to see huge phenomena by the crustal deformation and we could catch some big energy exerted by the Earth's Crust. I'm sure to visit there again. Just impressive at all.
Consequently, I did all of my duty coming at home just around 9 at night driving as long as 600 km in two days, unexpectedly my body condition is not so bad.

Absence

Because I have accepted some difficult work, I'm absent from writing here unexpectedly. I was asked to do that by the Professor who had been in an intimate relations each other, I could not refuse his proposal for the sake of friendship piled as long as 45 years.
As I had made up my mind to retire completely from the long lasted occupation, I deserted all the related information and silver salt transparencies.
I must describe my article just depending on my memories, it took me some time to remember my pasts and the circumstances at those times.
In my condition these days, one day passes like nothing at all.
I'm obliged to increase the contents volume of the book, I have no intention to do that unreasonably.
I cannot follow to another writers if they do that in big volume.
Writing too much is not always the way to make the readers understood well.
Clearly, easy to be understood, short in necessary and politely are my way.
I just dictate only the truth and the fact in the book avoiding any flossy exaggerations.
Lie and pseudo exaggerated curse are prevailing in our Scientific Field even now, I cannot help omitting if I come across with them unintentionally.

Ritardo del punto angolare di picco

Consultando gli articoli sul campo accademico in relazione alla combustione e l'angolo di ritardo del punto di picco, è emersa una discrepanza di circa 5 gradi tra di essi. Inoltre, il rumore del motore ha molto a che fare con la costruzione della robustezza del basamento. Esiste una chiara differenza del suono di combustione tra i motori OS Max 60 FSR e ENYA 60 X, entrambi sono stati progettati in base al metodo di scavenging di Schnurle, l'ex aveva un peso più leggero e quest'ultimo aveva un peso maggiore con un design robusto. Note di scarico completamente diverse sono state rilevate in altezza e nelle operazioni di medio raggio. L'ex era acuto e quest'ultimo era audace e a bassa frequenza. Lo spessore e la qualità del materiale influiscono molto sulla nota di scarico. Quindi, caso di manovella più leggero e vulnerabile non ha sempre un vantaggio se si desidera uno scarico confortevole.
L'accendino non è sempre il migliore nella progettazione di motori a ciclo 2 modello.
Il cambiamento del riconoscimento ha fatto nella mia mente in questo punto.

Peak angular point delay

Consulting in the academic field articles in relation with combustion and the delay angle of peak point, around 5 degree discrepancy occurs between them was revealed. Also, motor noise has much to do with the construction of the crankcase stoutness. There exist clear difference of combustion sound between OS Max 60 FSR and ENYA 60 X motors, both of them had been designed based on Schnurle scavenging method, former had lighter weight and the latter did heavier weight with stout case design. Completely different exhaust notes were discerned in height and middle range operations. Former was shrill and latter was bold and low frequency. The thickness and material quality affect much on the exhaust note. So, lighter and vulnerable crank case do not always have an advantage if some comfortable exhaust is desired. The lighter is not always the better in model 2 cycle motor designing.
Recognition change has done in my mind in this point.

Improvement & sophistication

It was not changed to continue keeping old designed motors at hand, over 50 in numbers, until I recognize the sophistication applied on recent motors, so some change of mind is now coming. Members of the research and development in the factory has not been sleeping for long time, but they improved their products in sophistication every time they perform model changes.
My main airplane should be burdened the most recent and sophisticated motor if I desire to participate in the contest and to win.
Off-set counter weight angular position, finely engraved oil gallery line parallel to the crankshaft surface for the front bearing lubrication and smoothly formed intake gas way, etc. Sophistication are recognized everywhere in the construction, all of them fulfills my internal requirements.
Mr. Ueda who has been one of the most reliable adviser as long as 45 years, gives me more than I asked anytime as a gift. A sophisticated technology to improve power and torque on the ring piston motor by drilling 3 holes at piston top passing through at ring inner surfaces, these are intended to exert combustion force directly on the pressure ring inner surface.
I would like to determine the new direction to proceed after the testing operation of OS 55 AX motor burdened on the nose of YOSHIOKA Sunday alpha 50.

Albero a gomiti

Per rendere la nota di scarico più morbida e ottenere il funzionamento stabile a bassa velocità, la riduzione della pressione di combustione è stata eseguita mediante l'inserimento di guarnizioni della testa, due pezzi di 0,2 mm di spessore. Probabilmente, una modifica come questa non ridurrebbe tanto la potenza e la coppia tanto quanto, a turno, solo qualche fase di rotazione intensa. Incidere la fessura sulla superficie assiale dell'albero motore adottando il tempo e la durata desiderati della pressione indipendentemente da quelli che non hanno relazioni con i tempi di importazione. Ritirando solo la pressione più alta, il rumore di pressione non necessario che era stato causato da fenomeni incontrollabili sarebbe stato eliminato a fondo.

Il concetto, il principio e la costruzione di questo simpatico regolatore a diaframma non vengono modificati se l'applicazione è diversa. Sebbene sia stato informato che il rapporto della molla della valvola a diaframma è più alto di prima e che la tolleranza del punto di regolazione ideale è minore di prima, ho abbastanza fiducia per padroneggiarlo abbastanza da ottenere la posizione angolare più dolce. La reazione sensibile della regolazione del regolatore potrebbe richiedere una concentrazione acuta, ma significa che la reazione potrebbe essere mostrata più chiaramente di quelle vecchie.
Asimmetrico è chiaro dalla vista del lato posteriore, contrappeso distorto in base al ritardo dei tempi di combustione. Inoltre, l'immagine mostra la finitura fine dell'incisione sull'ingresso del gas della porta di messaggistica come un motore appositamente sintonizzato dall'autorità, non solo con la finitura della perforazione.
In ogni caso, il funzionamento effettivo del motore OS 55 AX modificato prova il risultato.

Crankshaft

In order to make the exhaust note more softer and to obtain the stable low speed operation, combustion pressure reduction was performed by means of inserting head gaskets, two pieces of 0,2 mm thickness. Probably, modification like this would not reduce both power and torque so much, just only some peaky rotation phase in turn.
Engraving the crevice on the crankshaft axial surface adopting with the desired pressure timing and duration independently those have no relations with import timing. By withdrawing the highest pressure only, unnecessary pressure noise that had been caused uncontrollable phenomena would be eliminated thoroughly.
By the way, very small and no getting in the way, YS regulator for YS 63 4-cycle motor had been obtained from Yahoo Auction, the bulk is just a half compared with old ones for 2 cycle motors 40 years ago. The concept, the principle and the construction of this cute diaphragm regulator are not changed if the application of use is different.
Though it is informed that the diaphragm valve spring ratio is higher than before and the ideal adjusting point tolerance is smaller than before, I have enough confidence to Master it enough to obtain the sweetest angular position. Sensitive reaction of the regulator adjustment might need keen concentration, but it means that the reaction might be shown more clearly than old ones instead.
Asymmetric is clear from the back side view, distorted counter weight according to the delay of combustion timing.
Also, picture shows the fine engraving finish on the entrance of the messenger port gas way like a specially tuned motor by the authority, not by just drilling finish.
Anyway, actual operation of the modified OS 55 AX motor prove the result.
